I have never coded before. It has been a lot of fun. SheCodes team makes it simplistic to get into coding. Which is fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone who is curious about coding.
The classes provide a lot of information in short time.I appreciate most the high flexibility, how fast one gets help if needed and the projects evers week that proved my progress. I had a lot of fun and am thinking of learning more coding in the future!

Leaning to code with SheCodes was just the best experience, I'm so pleased I started my coding journey here. The perfect blend of challenging and fun. It was amazing how much I learnt in the Basics workshop and I have really surprised myself. Submitting weekly projects was a great way to see your progress and I found it easy to make time for study alongside my full-time job.
A very fun and easy-to-follow introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Matt's lessons were very accessible, and SheCodes provided a great entry-point to learning more about coding. I'd recommend SheCodes to anyone.

The React course was really great, although probably took me more than 5 hours a week to complete. But it was fun and I learned a lot.

It has been a big pleasure and at the same time a big surprise this course. Coding is not what I imagined, I had lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of it.
It's been an absolute blast to take this course. Matt makes it so easy and he explains everything in a very pedagogical way. Fun fact: as an engineer I had a very short introduction to Python a few years ago, and I thought it was incredibly boring. Never ever had I thought that I (willingly) would take a coding course in the future. But here I am, and this course have been nothing like my previous experience. All of a sudden coding is extremely fun and I just want to learn more and more. I guess that's the difference between a really good teacher and a not so good one. Now I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Pro that I will start with on Monday!
I have to admit, before I started, I thought coding would be easier than it is! I have really enjoyed this course; it has been challenging and good fun! Great workshop! Extremely useful for total beginners like me to start figuring how JS works. The journey has been super fun despite some major understanding challenges, and it certainly provided me with a nice foundation to keep exploring and building up knowledge.
I appreciated the thoughtful, clear explanations of fundamental coding in this course. I had started learning myself through freecodecamp.com, but found that referencing back to Matt's courses was really helpful! I've had SO much fun learning HTML/CSS/JS with SheCodes Basic! The workshop were so easy to follow, and I've loved being able to work at my own pace with a structured deadline each week. It's has been a great starting point on my coding journey and I cannot wait to learn more!

It's been an intense yet super fun workshop. I totally enjoyed trying, giving up and trying again. In the end, all the knowledge I received, has shaped into a working weather app. A lot of things to learn are still ahead and I am very motivated to follow the next workshops.

I also got the chance to express my creativity by putting my innovative styling ideas into my final project. The past few months were very busy, but it was rewarding at the end. This course is so much fun! I, unfortunately, took long breaks in between but I would recommend doing the assignments/projects as close to each other as possible and avoiding extensions. However, life happens, and just make sure to take good notes so when you go back to it you are not completely lost.
I loved the SheCodes workshops! I have learned so much and it has honestly been such a fun experience. I feel confident in the skills I've learned and have found a new joy in coding and creating applications/websites.

SheCodes taught me that you can learn a new skill at any age and in any life stage. i thought i was meant to only thrive in a public health setting, as i'm currently pursuing a master's in public health. however, after working though matt's accessible & fun workshops, i was reminded how awesome it was to not only learn but also start to really *get* a new skill very intuitively. ty matt i love SheCodes basics :)
One of the reasons I like this workshop is that it’s flexible with my schedule and takes a short amount of time to complete. This workshop allows participants to familiarize themselves with coding and comprehend the benefits that it may provide in a variety of professions. This fundamental workshop is well-organized and simple to follow through. It enables us to learn how to code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. However, using the skills we learned in this workshop, we were able to construct, design, and edit our own websites.
It was really fun completing this workshop! I learned a lot and feel like I can now start building my own projects and practice all that I learned. The API integration part is my favorite as well as the styling part when it comes to building the apps. This workshop opened a whole new world to me in that regard. I am super happy with SheCodes!
I had forgotten how fun coding was! I had programming course in high school, I even thought I could study that in university, but in the end I chose a different path. Now I am at crossroads. I still do not know what I will do or should I invest more time and effort into coding, but I am really glad I took this course because it is never too late to learn something new.
The SheCodes Plus workshop has taught me so much about coding in a short amount of time. The structure of the workshop made learning easy, interesting and enjoyable! I had a lot of fun coding a weather app from scratch using easily digestible, step-by-step videos. I can't wait to start my next project in SheCodes React.

I had a lot of fun learning coding. A month ago if someone would've told me that I (someone who is not from tech and hates math) will learn how to code and enjoy it, I would've never believed them. This workshop gave me the basic knowledge and skills to get into web design. The way the course is taught along with the weekly challenges makes it easy to grasp the concepts and fun to learn how to code! When I started SheCodes Plus I was about to start a new job at a large company as a UX designer where I would be working with developers on the designs I made for mobile apps and websites. I wanted to be able to speak their language by learning how to code. SheCodes Plus really helped me transition into my new role, even just by teaching me terminology like "Calling an API" (and knowing how to do it in Javascript!) or being able to read code when I would inspect a page on our company site for things I needed to reference. It gave me a lot more confidence in my skills - especially with being the "new girl" on the team. SheCodes Plus really focuses on Javascript which I found to be the trickiest of the three coding languages (HTML, CSS, and Javascript - I'm very comfortable with CSS now lol). Overtime I started to get the hang of it especially when we got to the Vanilla Javascript stuff. I love how Matt teaches and everything is so well structured its easy to follow along. The community is great, too, because they are so fast to get back to you when you have an issue and help you get through it (This is super handy for Javascript btw!). I cannot wait to jump into Responsive! I wasn't sure if I was going to do the React course at first, but Matt kept saying that things get a lot more straightforward when we get to React, so I will now be doing that one, too, and finish off all the courses! Thanks so much for all you do Matt, team, and SheCodes! This is a fun course!

SheCodes has been one of the best things I started in years. The video's are amazing, the community is great and it's a very easy and good start te learn how to code. and don't forget: it's so much fun! I think Matt and his team has found a great way of making coding fun and I celebrate the fact that they target women. And they do it realy well, with Cat's coding, lots of emoji's and even jokes. I highly recomend SheCodes to learn how to code, to get a new skill and to have fun!
SheCodes Plus is an amazing course to expand on what you learn in the Basics course - and it's so much fun! Javascript can be confusing at times but Matt is an excellent teacher and explains it so well at every step. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate real data into a working weather app and I'm looking forward to learning even more with SheCodes!
Appreciated that we could join a free introductory session which gave a summary of the workshops provided by SheCodes. Highly recommend others to join SheCodes as I loved that the workshop allowed me to complete my work anytime within that allocated week. Low stress with fun exercises!

Learning to code is really fun, especially when you are tutored by someone as amazing as Matt. The information that you learned in each video is very brief but when in the end of the workshop, you will be definitely surprised by what you have learned!
The course was really fun. You need to be really self-directed and figure out some content on your own but most of the time, Matt was a really great tutor who explained the concepts well:)

This was so much fun to learn! I looked forward to coming home from work every day and taking on another challenge and then ultimately building my very first app! Matt's teaching style is great and easy to understand and it is nice to be able to have videos and sources to refer back to. The team is also wonderful, with quick and helpful responses. There were times I definitely challenged, but I am so proud of what I have already accomplished and am excited to continue forward in my journey to become a software developer!

The course was fun and designed for absolute beginners like me. Toward the end of the course, I felt that I want to learn to code even deeper. There are great resources to keep you on track and motivated, especially Slack was great to me. I was inspired by many students' final projects. Definitely recommend it to my friends.

With zero prior coding knowledge I watched the free coding video to see what coding is all about. I was instantly interested so I took part in the SheCodes basics course. I absolutely loved this workshop. I learned so much during this process and I absolutely loved the final project that we got to do. Building the Weather App was such a fun experience and it really taught me a lot about my abilities and was a great learning experience at filling in the gaps. I really appreciated all the feed back that I got from the instructors and Matt gave great information in the lecture videos.
I'm incredibly proud of how much I learned and improved my coding in the past 8 weeks. This workshop was really fun but also quite tough, with many hours spent trying to figure out why my functions are not working. An enjoyable short course with many tips for making websites responsive to different devices as well as SEO friendly. Having the opportunity of working from a figma design for the final project was very fun and useful too.
This was my third SheCodes workshop, and I loved it! The final project we were learning to build was so much fun and so useful. I come out of this journey, not only with knowledge on how to make a website responsive but also with a portfolio I can update and use to share my work!
I had a lot of fun with this. I do suggest you get a reference book, to look up somethings without having to Google or ask on Slack

I never thought I could enjoy coding this much! I had the impression that coding/programming was something out of this world, and definitely out of my comfort zone. The courses were structured, very clear and there always help when needed. Never was the coding so fun 😀
I was nervous because this was my first time learning how to code, but everything was explained clearly so I could follow along and play with each new element or property that was taught. I liked that I could learn at my own pace and start building my coding vocabulary. Coding isn't scary and can be very fun!
