I wanted to learn html, css and javascript for a long time, but never made it to the end of an online course. With SheCodes it was fun and challenging and I really enjoyed learning new skills!

This workshop is such an amazing knowledge bank for any one passionate about coding. I am a kind of beginner for the CSS, HTML and JS and what makes the workshop more appealing is the fact that Matt presents the workshop in such an understandable, structured and fun way. I can not stress enough how fantastic this workshop is for code lovers like me.

The course by SheCodes was a lot of fun and helped me to understand the basics of coding. Although I still have a lot to learn, the tips and tools has left me feeling more confident. SheCodes Plus has been a whole new level of challenge, but it is achievable. Follow Matt step by step to create a fully functioning weather app. Users will need to do their own practice to really get good but this is a great set of guiding videos to get started.
I enjoyed these past 3 weeks learning code. The lessons were fun and easy to follow. I always felt that my questions were answered on Slack and that Matt was a great teacher.
Prior to SheCodes, I was extremely intimidated by idea of coding and the different languages that exist. After this workshop, I have discovered that it is much less intimidating than it seems and very possible with the right resources and practice! It is also much more creative and fun than I ever imagined.

This workshop is just what you need if you want to dip your toes into coding! The self-paced nature is very user friendly, and having 2 week-long extensions automatically available to you makes this course more accessible to me as a disabled woman. This course has been the right balance between challenging, rewarding and fun! Coding has been a lovely skill to learn, and this workshop has made it all the more enjoyable.

Wow...I never imagined that I would learn how to code so quickly! I hated it when I was a kid in school (I couldn't understand it lol), but this time around I really enjoyed learning it from start to finish. I am amazed at how much fun I had learning, even when it was challenging (the SheCodes radio was a lifesaver lol). I am so glad I stumbled upon the ad for SheCodes on Instagram. Matt is an excellent teacher and the resources available are so helpful! I am so very much looking forward to SheCodes Plus and where this knowledge will take me next. If you're on the fence about this, don't be. Just go for it!
This course was great! Very fun to learn and easy to follow along to Matt's teachings. He made it a breeze to pick up the topics and apply them with each lesson. The help from the staff and fellow shecoders was also invaluable. SheCodes Basics sounds exactly like it is, a basic introduction into web development. I feel that signing up for SheCodes workshops was one of the best decisions I've ever made! SheCodes Basics is a great starting point for everyone with no coding knowledge. Finally finished the last course offered by SheCodes! REACT was a super fun course where I have learned a lot. It had it's tricky moments but I certainly enjoyed every step of it. Alongside the help from Matt, the team, as well as other students, I have managed to learn a lot. I never thought I would be able to develop both an weather app AND a dictionary app. This was a really fun trajectory!

I studied engineering, but never took coding classes and didn't realize how vital coding was to my career path until I got my first job. Working with my Controls counterparts taught me a lot, but most of all, it taught me that I had a lot to learn in terms of programming! One of my coworkers took this class and recommended it to me, so I figured I'd give it a shot and am very impressed with the amount of material that we covered in such a short time. It was very fun to make a webpage for the future (currently imaginary) bakery that my sisters want to open, and I learned a lot!

Learning how to code had been on my list for a while now. I had tried it already in the past but somehow didn't feel motivated to continue. Everything changed when I discovered the SheCodes Workshops. I felt motivated and deeply into programming from the first moment. I can't tell you how awesome SheCodes is, You should enroll workshops then you'll know what am I talking about. if you wanna start front-end development you've found the right place. Matt teaches you as well as possible, It's gonna be a fun journey and also full of learning. Along side the lessons you have access to a wonderful support team that you can ask your questions and as soon as possible you end up finding your way
After years of debating what kind of coding course would be right for me, I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with SheCodes. I am extremely impressed by how thorough, clear, and fun Matt makes all of the lessons - I genuinely look forward to watching the next lesson and tackling something new. The structure of the course provides a wonderful balance between learning a little bit in each lesson but also moving through an entire chapter of content each week. I never feel overwhelmed with how much I'm learning in each lesson, and yet by the end of the week I feel accomplished and like I've covered some good ground. I couldn't recommend this course enough for those who are feeling on the fence about learning code. I didn't think the experience of learning code could be so fun, and I think you'll find the same thing to be true!
SheCodes Basics is a very excellent beginning step towards the world of tech. It was a very organized workshop. The material and projects were fun to work on, and I appreciate how helpful and informative Matt was. It's a challenging workshop! And I spent lots of time trying to build the portfolio I want it to be. Sometimes I've to google to find the answer which didn't cover in the workshop, good fun and I've learnt a lot.
SheCodes Plus was challenging at times, but overall super fun! I am quite proud that I am now able to use HTML, CSS, and JS to build a responsive weather app backed by an API. I cannot wait to continue my journey and learn more about coding and to understand what React is all about.
SheCodes was a fun way to learn a useful skill! The deadlines are helpful to keep on track, but you're also able to work ahead if you like or get an extension if need be. The course is broken up into manageable mini-lessons, all of which are clean and concise. I love that Matt encourages searching for solutions yourself and also teaches how to look for answers on Google. I feel like I accomplished a goal and had the chance to be creative! Thank you for a great experience and a jumping-off point for learning more coding skills!

I honestly thought coding would involve some combination of complex physics and math but after I attended the workshop, I thought differently. The Plus workshop was fun, but also challenging at times. However, whenever you run into a problem you can always count on Matt's colleagues or other students to patiently look into it and explain what can be done better. All in all, it was a great experience and I learned a lot, so I would definitely recommend!
The Basics workshop was so much fun! Thank you, SheCodes, for making coding fun to learn and accessible. The material is well-organized and strikes just the right balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I especially appreciate Matt's knack as a teacher 1) to frame the concepts in clear and memorable terms, 2) to pace how quickly new material gets introduced and digested, and 3) to tailor explanations pragmatically to what we need to know yet without dumbing any of it down merely because we're neophytes.
