These basic course was so nice! Fun and a lot of new things were learned!
It was so much fun to create own webpage by my self! Actually it has been so busy working and learning coding at the same time, but coding helps me avoid thinking about my hectic real life. I extended some weeks to finish this project due to work, but SheCode team gave me extra time and it made me not give up coding.
I love coding but I got too overwhelmed trying to learn elsewhere. I have been able to learn on this platform with ease and I am having fun!
A really challenging but fun and rewarding course. I learnt and achieved more than I ever felt possible and am really proud of what I produced! I loved being able to do the course in my own time and being able to take breaks when I needed a week off. The challenges and homework requirements kept me on track and made sure I was actually learning and staying focused. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning react 😊
Absolutely loved the course, Matt explains everything in the way that an absolute beginner like me actually understands EVERYTHING! I have zero tech background and so following this course, understanding and putting it into practise made me feel so empowered and proud of myself! And it was light and fun and no preasure but still passing through HUGE chunks of solid knowledge every day! I could not recomend this course enough!!!

This has been such a worthwhile learning experience. I have found the workshop to be really engaging, fun, and easy to understand. The lessons are pitched at a really good level with challenges that keep you motivated and a great community at hand to help if you become stuck. I took a lot of time deciding which coding course to embark on and I am so glad I selected this one.

SheCodes is a fun and easy to understand workshop that has absolutely rekindled my excitement for coding! I took classes many moons ago in high school but never pursued it after, and I forgot how much I enjoy it. The courses use easy to follow videos and many good analogies that help make coding languages make sense. I'm so excited to do this as a career!
I would recommend this course to all of those women who are looking to learn coding. Matt teaches in a way that is easily understandable, and keeps you engaged in a way that is fun and easy. I had some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript before this course, but now, I have a MUCH better understanding of how and why it works! I can't wait to continue with my learning with SheCodes!

After many years working with accounting, and increasingly becoming demotivated to continue, it was time to look for something new. The trigger to change was not easy and for a long time I kept looking at various career alternatives. Computers were always to me a source of information and entertainment, never a career option. I came across SheCodes through an add on Facebook. After researching the course and the inspiring posts made by former students, I decided to take the plunge and go all-in with the Pro program. With just completing the Basic course, I still cannot believe how much I have learned in such short period and how much fun I am having creating something completely new from scratch. With plenty to go, I am very excited to start SheCodes Plus next week! Thank you Matt and SheCodes team to provide us with this fun, creative and supportive way of learning!

SheCodes was an amazing experience for me. I’ve always been interested in coding but never had the discipline to sit down and do it. The homework and deadlines really helped me to stay on track. Matt is a great instructor and each lesson was the perfect amount of new information so it was easy to follow. Overall I had a lot of fun coding with SheCodes!
SheCodes changed my life showing easily my capabilities. At the end of each course you'll say "What??? Did I really do that??". And it's a good and incredible feeling. I'd like to recommend to all of the women who want to make a change in their job career, but especially to make a change in their life :) Lessons are fun, clear and completed; even when the object is extremely advanced or critical: Matt and the staff are always there for you and will teach you how you could find advice or example anywhere online. Learning coding with Matt and all the staff of SheCodes has definitely been my best 2021's decision! :)
Working though SheCodes Basic, Plus, and Responsive has been super fun and I've loved learning as I've made my way through them. I'm on to SheCodes React Workshop next and excited to continue my learning and put my new knowledge to use once I'm done!

I never thought I would be able to read javaScript. I had so much fun coding these. The instructions were very easy to follow and I was able to complete this in less than 2 weeks. so happy with what I have learned :)
SheCodes Plus was such a wild ride! I really did have a great time. So many challenges and so many emotions, all resulting in a website I'm so proud of! There were times I was frustrated, but there were a lot more times where I was so satisfied to have been able to create this thing I had in my mind! Coding is proving, each day, to be a more and more useful skill. I'm so happy I got on this journey, I'm going to continue with the next workshops, the classes and the community make it so easy and fun to learn!

This 3-week workshop was very fun and informational! I learned a lot of the basic concepts and Matt was a great instructor.
This was intense but fun 8 weeks! I can't believe how much I've learned in such a short period of time. From being intimidated by computers to being able to design an app presenting the real data. I'm ready for SheCodes Responsive and looking forward to learning even more. I can't wait what the next part will bring. Thank you to SheCodes team for being so patient and helpful!
I have learned so much in such a smooth and fun way. I have enjoyed all the videos and challenges and would recommend this course to everyone even those with a CS degree but little frontend experience.
After years of working as a Product Owner with talented developers without being able to understand their language, I can finally build my own website. Learning with SheCodes has been easy, funny and fulfilling.
Not just informative and easy to follow but fun as well! I found the steps to be easy to follow and encouraging to actually be able to put what I learned to use immediately and see some fun results. It's also great that we're encouraged to branch out and experiment with what we've learned to make each project our own.
It was a great experience. The workshop schedule is very flexible but I found that once you start coding it's almost addictive and you can't stop until you've done all your challenges :). It was great to have this introduction to coding and realise that it can be understandable, accessible and quite fun!

It was so much fun! The teacher is great at explaining and makes it look easy wich make learning coding a great new experience. The little exercises were a great way to consolidate everything that was learned on that lesson. Overall opinion, 5 stars!

SheCodes makes learning about coding in a direct and fun way. Everything was straight to the point and the exercises were a direct reflection of the material learned.
Just as SheCodes Basics also SheCodes Plus is super well structured, contains motivating regular challenges that help you stay on track. It is an intensive learning experience and so much fun at the same time - muchas gracias to the SheCodes team!
It was great fun to dive into the world of coding. The mix of very simple explanations and challenging tasks motivate you to keep at it. This introduction was great and I might want to learn more soon.
My first fully functional Weather app! SheCodes Plus has been very challenging in terms of JS and API integration and also with managing my time. I am so pleased finally I have completed it. Getting familiar with a new skill and being able to articulate myself through code felt very empowering. After diving into the basics and taking on fun coding challenges, I was able to move onto more advanced projects which prepared me for the next chapter of my coding journey. I had never considered coding as a hobby or career option - now I can see both in my future! Thanks to SheCodes, I feel more confident to keep learning and start developing my own tech projects.

What a great and fun ride this has been. I just submitted my last project, feels bittersweet!! However, I'm so glad I ended up taking all the modules from SheCodes Basic to SheCodes Pro. Highly recommended to anyone. Is pretty fun, having weekly deadlines is great. Kept me focused on my goal. Thanks to SheCodes team for the help on Slack! You definitely cut me/us some slack! Trial and error, feeling stuck is part of the journey. Highly appreciated.
The lessons were packed in very digestable bites, I could definetly see a steep learning curve and was pretty motivated by small successes. I had tought myself some of this knowledge already from online sources but it was good for me to have it explained properly and in it's entirety again. All in all it was really fun to do.
Working with SheCodes to build my first functioning website has been amazing! I feel like I understand what I am doing and if I get stuck the team has helped me through it!
Wow, I have to admit it was tough! But really, really stimulating. It feels so rewarding seeing a real weather app, with real data, and fully functional, built with my own hands! I learned so much during this course, I started to get a bit more used to Javascript and I was even able to write stuff on my own in the final project, which I couldn't imagine I would be able to do. I also loved learning how Git works! There's so much stuff I need to learn better, especially from the first weeks; but I think what I learned until now is already so much, so I have to thank Matt for all of this!
SheCodes opened me eyes to a completely different world that I didn't know I can have access to. I grew both personally and professionally and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you SheCodes for making my coding journey so unbelievably fun and exciting!

I had a lot of fun learning how to do some very basic things and plan to learn even more. One of the handiest things about this workshop was the ability to go back and re-watch this videos if I ever forgot how to do anything.
SheCodes made it possible to go from knowing nothing about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to creating a functional webpage in a matter of three weeks.
I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. I'm still not on the first-name basis with my JS functions, but, hopefully, I will get a better grip of them further on. My goals of taking the course were learning how to use an API and getting to know GitHub better. Both goals achieved, facilitated by excellent presentation from Matt, as always.
I have studied React before this course help to refresh my mind on the fundamentals and more importantly know how to apply them into real projects.
In these modern days it is hard to get in touch with something that has nothing to do with digitization, so the ability to have at least a small overview about the functionality of digital tools, programs or anything like that is highly recommended. The initial impulse to put wood behind the arrow and to get my journey with SheCodes started, was when I changed my job in October 2021 and became a PMO in a small company building software for global telecommunication enterprises... I wanted to support myself getting to know and understanding this completely new, very complex working area and simultaneously broaden my mind. And you know what? It was definitely worth it! Yes, it is challenging, but Matt has a very cool way to explain and show things, which makes it easy to follow him and to get the challenges done. The most fun thing of course is to build your own project where you can live out your creativitiy and see if you really understood what Matt taught you.
Honestly, to say that this workshop helps me a lot to learn the techniques from scratch. Coding is really fun for me after SheCodes. Thanks to the SheCodes team and mentor Matt for creating this wonderful platform for education and forming the community of amazing women.

I have been following SheCodes for a while, but only after a friend shared her experience with me did I have the incentive to invest in the Basics workshop. So worthy. SheCodes has helped me to step into a whole new world. I never thought I will be able to code or to understand coding but Matthieu and his team made that possible by providing me with the right information and support. I wanted to start learning how to code but I didn't know where to start. I heard of SheCodes from Instagram, took a look into it, gave it a chance, and I'm glad I did. SheCodes has an approach of introducing the courses to you in a fun, inspiring, and engaging way. From looking at a code like it's complete gibberish, to understanding the basics and creating something of my own, I am ecstatic to learn more from SheCodes and of becoming the best software developer I can be.

Great intro course to coding. I enjoyed the homeworks and challenges. The videos were easy to follow and made the learning process fun. Plus the slack chat provides a supportive community. I'm excited to continue the next courses to become a pro!
I've never had so much success before with an online learning course. SheCodes makes everything easy to understand and is constantly testing our comprehension of the material by having us apply new knowledge in mini daily challenges, weekly homework, and over-arching projects. At the beginning of this 8-week course I couldn't possibly imagine what it would take to build a fully functioning vanilla weather forecast application. This course built upon the previous 3-week Basics Coding course, expanding in to using more advanced front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, developing further Javascript skills, and dove in to how to integrate live API into our interactive application and how to normalize a development workflow using Git and Github. I know I still have so much more to learn, but looking back I can't believe I've come so far in such a short time! Thank you SheCodes!
SheCodes makes learning to code a smooth and fun process. The information is presented in an easily digestible format with deadlines that are easy to meet. This allows me to work on the projects when it fits my schedule best.
For everyone interested in coding, SheCodes is a great place to start learning. It's very interactive, fun, and you get all the help you need.
Before taking this workshop I had some (self-taught) notions of HTML and CSS, but it was really great to learn how all the pieces fit together and the order of it. Javascript was really fun to learn. I will definitely study it more, for I can see it has a multitude of applications. Matt is a great instructor, explains everything step by step in a very easy to understand way and follow along.

I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone, even without any prior knowledge of coding languages. It is super straightforward and understandable, and because it is split into small steps you can easily follow and learn. Even if you find out coding is not what you want to do for a living, it's still really fun!

I started this program with no experience and these past three weeks have been so fulfilling. I feel very confident that I'll be able to implement everything I have learned so far towards future work endeavors and personal projects. The modular classes are easy to follow along, the assignments are challenging but not impossible, and the final project was actually very fun to develop. If you are considering taking this course, I highly encourage you to start it ASAP.
I was hesitant to start learning how to code, because I thought I couldn’t do it, but now I’m very happy I did it. This SheCodes Basic's Workshop was amazing, I had a lot of fun, and it was interesting to know how to build a website from scratch. I remember starting out with SheCodes basics the course was so informative but mostly what stuck with me was how the instructor just made it fun and easy to grasp. I am so thrilled to have made it this far and I couldn’t be happier I chose SheCodes, I 100% would recommend this course.
The Basic course was already incredibly good and made fun for more. That's why I followed the Plus course directly. In between it was really challenging and exhausting. However, it was always worthwhile to continue and to follow through. I would definitely like to take the Responsive and React course. With the help of SheCodes and Matt, I've already been able to successfully apply what I've learned to my work. Thank you!

As someone who was feeling intimidated at the beginning of this journey with coding, I must say I had a pleasant surprise! The course was so fun and enjoyable, the lessons are approachable and easy to understand. I had fun putting to practice all I had learned throughout the weeks.
I learnt a lot from this class, and it helps me to think and adapt to how the computer understands and reads commands. Also, it was fun and was not intimidating at all, a very easy transition into this new coding world for someone who does not have a computer degree at all.
This course was super challenging but fun at the same time. A big thank you to Matt and the whole SheCodes team for making this course a great experience. I feel like I gained an great amount of coding skills during the past few weeks and am excited to continue this journey. 😊

This was a really fun workshop to do! I am really glad that we had to build 2 different projects because you can definitely see the learning curve. In the first project I was struggling with React and getting constant error messages - in the second project I was already able to understand and use it much better. I am sure if I start creating some projects on my own that it will go smoother and smoother. Thanks for the mentoring and great help in the Slack community.
I've been wanting to do a portfolio website for a long time. So this is really a fun and necessary project for me ;)
I had basic knowledge about HTML and I remember customizing my own "MySpace" page back then. I remember how fun it was and sadly, I didn't know that it could be something that I can do as a grown up and earn money with. I had so much fun learning basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the past three weeks!
This was definitely a challenge but I had a lot of fun learning how to create this app!! Matt explained each section in such a clear, concise, and easily digestible way. I am so proud and ready for the responsive workshop!
It's so much fun working on your final weather app project step by step. It really gives motivation to see what you can already do in just a few weeks. Thanks to SheCodes I learned a lot. I highly recommend SheCodes as everything is explained so well & the support is great, during the video's where Matt is encouraging you to not worry when you get stuck and to take your time, but also in the Slack community where the team is answering your questions very quickly. I had so much fun during this workshop! The self-paced learning fit me perfectly as it gives me the opportunity to manage myself and have self-discipline. I had so much fun throughout this workshop, which is something I never thought I would be able to say about coding! Awesome Basic Workshop! A fantastic beginning class, a great middle between challenging but attainable. I learned a LOT and can't wait to continue on to the other courses. I really enjoyed the challenges at the end of each lesson, which helped to build and solidify my knowledge. I did have to take notes and re-watch some videos, but I quickly learned that's okay! Be kind to yourself and have fun and you will make it through! Matt's videos are easy to understand and follow--great teacher.
