This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. The instructor made it easy to follow along. The one thing that I could not have gotten by with out was the inspect console. Thanks to the instructor telling us to check our code there I was many times able to see where my code was going wrong and was able to correct it.

I enjoyed coding with SheCodes! That's just it. I had loads of fun, some tears too because there were times my code wouldn't work and I'd be frustrated but soon, I'd be laughing through my tears at the silly mistake. I started the SheCodes Plus with so much euphoria and enthusiasm. Unlike the Basic, Plus proved to be more challenging, which is as it should be of course. I was suddenly struggling to meet deadlines since I also had a lot going on for me during the period. At some point, I was discouraged honestly. But I have a great Instructor! Along with his patient explanations, he kept encouraging. I'm grateful. The best of it is the team! Thank you SheCodes team! Even if we have hundred questions a day, you are ever ready to give fast replies. Even when it's a little mistake we couldn't see in our frenzy, you are very patient with us and ready to show us where we missed it. Please, do not stop at Basic so you don't miss out on all the fun.
