The course was very easy and I feel I've learnt so much in such a short space of time. Breaking the lessons down into small parts meant I didn't lose focus quickly like other courses, and if I felt I was losing focus I could just come back the next day. Overall the course has made me feel really excited about learning more!

I have tried other coding classes in the past and SheCodes was the only one that helped me truly understand JS. Matt, the instructor does an excellent job at organizing the weekly lessons and assignments in a way that really speaks to my style of learning. I was able to follow along and loved that after you submitted your challenge, he would go over the solution so you can understand where you may have went wrong and how to fix it. I wanted to see if coding could be for me and I loved the creativity and organization that goes into it and I'm so glad I took SheCodes Basics. I plan to enroll in SheCodes Max soon!

I like how Matt explains complex things very easily and in accessible language. The approach to explaining new information is creative and you can't stop and want to review the lessons further and further))) Practical tasks are immediately adapted to real projects and you understand why this or that method is used in practice. The workshop was really fun and, especially, it was perfectly tailored for someone (like me 😃) who had no experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script! The lessons are short and at the end of each one there's an assignment, so that you can immediately practice what you learned. I also found Athena AI very useful for every question I had during the workshop.

SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging and in-depth compared to SheCodes Basics. It requires more revision and studying but the format helps with the learning.

This was my third shecodes workshop and like the previous ones, I enjoyed it very much and learned a lot about responsive web design. My goal was to create the starting pages for my new website which will eventually replace my current one, which I created using a website builder app. Having successfully gone through this shecodes workshop I have been able to do just that and am now confident to carry on building the remaining pages in order to soon replace the old website for good. I am very glad to participate in SheCodes Basics workshop. Although I have no prior knowledge of web development, I was able to build a web page by myself. Getting to learn at SheCodes at no cost is such a great opportunity. It’s been an awesome 3 weeks learning under the tutelage of Matt: a great tutor by the way. The classes have been designed to suit even the slowest of learners as we move from simple to complex. Learning with SheCodes has also given me an opportunity to meet with women in a community called Slack where we rub minds and share ideas. It’s been an amazing journey so far.
This course has been great to direct my learning and build confidence in coding where it seems like there is a mountain of coding programs and languages to learn. This helps keep it small and manageable in easy to digest chunks.

I am absolutely amazed that I was able to complete the SheCodes Plus workshop while juggling the responsibilities of taking care of a newborn baby! I owe a huge thanks to Matt and his video tutorials for their clear and concise instruction. I followed along with each lesson step-by-step and saved all my progress in weekly files, which made it easy for me to revisit and recreate each task when working on my weather app project. SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos.
