Completing Weeks 1–3 of the SheCodes program has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me. This is my second certificate. The "BasicsAddOn" week. It was a bit challenging, in a good way. I am happy about everything I learnt here this week!

This add-on workshop was a great experience and helped me improve my front-end skills beyond the basics. I learned how to use more advanced CSS techniques such as CSS Grid for layout, hover animations, transitions, and transform effects to create more interactive and visually engaging webpages. I'm also really glad that I didn’t skip this workshop, because it helped me understand how small design details and animations can make a webpage feel much more dynamic and polished. Thank you for creating such a helpful and inspiring workshop!

This has truly been the best thing I have ever done, learning this has been so much fun and a lot easier to understand.

Having been a literature and arts person my whole life, I never pictured myself coding. I'm so glad I took a chance on learning something outside my comfort zone, because it has been so rewarding! I absolutely loved diving deeper into Python and building a final project that could showcase all the things I learned about working with data. Python was much more challenging for me to learn than HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there were times I got really frustrated. However, this meant that every time some new information or concept really *clicked* and I could successfully implement it in my code, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. Now, I love when I'll be talking with someone or watching something that includes data and realise how I could interact with that data in Python. It's not something I ever thought I could do, and feel really proud that I've stuck with it. Learning Python has become a new tool I use to create things I never thought I could create before, like interactive games and graphs to chart my reading habits. I'm really sad the class has come to an end, but I look forward to building on the skills I learned to create my own projects!

This workshop was really helpful for me. I could learn to build a simple application like a world clock, which can prepare me for the next steps in my journey of building more complicated apps and websites.

Working on this travel project for the SheCodes Responsive course was an amazing learning experience. I got to practice HTML, CSS, and responsive design while creating a visually appealing and functional website. I'd been postponing finishing the add-on programme, and after two weeks, I completed it, which was a much better experience. I have learned a lot. I have expanded my knowledge beyond what I had previously acquired.

SheCodes has provided me with a platform where I was able to learn how to code at my own pace, with assistance and such wonderful tutorials which made everything much easier to understand. This has been such a great experience for me, loved it.

Over the past five weeks, my journey learning Responsive Web Development has been both challenging and exciting. During this time, I gained practical skills in building web pages that adapt smoothly to different screen sizes using modern frontend techniques such as flexible layouts and media queries. This experience helped me better understand how real-world websites are developed to function effectively on phones, tablets, and desktops. The process strengthened my confidence in writing cleaner, more adaptable code and has motivated me to continue improving my skills in web development as I build more responsive and user-friendly websites.

SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and actually fun to learn. I loved how the lessons were broken down into small, practical steps that helped me build real projects and see my progress quickly. As someone coming from a different academic background, it gave me the confidence to explore tech and realize that coding is something I can truly learn and enjoy.

A fun learning project, it took a lot of time with a lot of trail and errors. Sometimes got frustrated because I lost track of what I was coding but then the debugging starts and a lot of research online to find solutions, but I made it with the results I had in Mind.

I enjoyed learning how to integrate another aspect into HTML, CSS & JavaScript. As well as learning how to add a "loading" circle whilst the item was being generated.

Advancing to the next stage has been a meaningful milestone for me. The project gave me the opportunity to turn ideas from my mind into something real through code and explore the creative side of building. It has really increased my confidence in coding and motivated me to keep learning and creating more!

This was a project I have been waiting for. To build my own website and it not disappoint as usual. With completion of each course, I get more and more excited to move forward. The step by step lessons are easy to follow and include fun challenges for hands on learning. I really enjoyed this first introduction to coding.

This is an amazing way to learn to code. The teaching is clear, straightforward, and the examples are so helpful. I really appreciate that there is some wiggle room with how you actually write your code. As long as it is valid and adheres to engineering principles, the team gives it a thumbs-up. There's no need to do it exactly like Matt. I'm excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus AI workshop and it was an amazing experience. In this workshop, I learned how to work with an AI API to generate dynamic content such as poems, jokes, and other creative text directly in a web application. It was exciting to see how AI can be integrated into projects to create interactive and engaging user experiences. The lessons were clear, practical, and very easy to follow. I really enjoyed building my AI powered project and gaining hands on experience using APIs and JavaScript together. This workshop made learning AI concepts feel approachable and fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course. It's been a great introduction and I feel I have learnt a lot more than I thought I would. The course has been easy to follow with everything clearly explained. It's also really easy to track where you are in the course. Projects are also checked quickly once submitted. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to give coding a go, even if you haven't done any before.

This course came at the perfect time. Everything I learned in my previous courses started clicking into place, and the repetition of practicing and replicating real layouts made it stick in a way that just reading never could. I can feel myself getting closer to being a capable junior dev with every project I build.

I am getting back into coding after years of having to stop going to college from how sick I became. The first time I learned about SheCodes, I knew that it was a sign for me to get back into coding. Even though I've been sick through the first week, I did enjoy it and the extension when I needed it. Thank you so much and I can't wait to complete everything from start to end.

I really enjoyed learning more things about coding, but I honestly HATED having to use CodeSandbox because it was slow and it made my laptop slow as well. I also enjoyed doing the weather project, and I would've finished sooner had it not been for JavaScript being so difficult and making me quit every other day. Despite everything, I am happy that I have been able to complete this course, and I can now move onto a new one.

This Responsive Add-on course was a wonderful continuation of the Responsive workshop. It helped me deepen my understanding of how to refine layouts and create more polished responsive pages using CSS Grid and media queries. I particularly enjoyed focusing on the small design details that make a page feel structured and user-friendly across different screen sizes. The final project was especially meaningful for me because it allowed me to create a responsive landing page honouring the ‘Mothers of Technology’ and celebrating the women who helped shape the foundations of our digital world. I also enjoyed integrating elements such as embeds and responsive media into the page while adapting and refining the layout throughout the project. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team 💜 for another inspiring and rewarding learning experience!

I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Plus. Building a weather app throughout the course was both fun and rewarding, and it helped me put my new skills into practice. It was exciting to see how everything came together, from working with APIs to displaying real-time data. Learning advanced JavaScript pushed me to try even more advanced features in my project and experiment with new ideas while developing the weather app. It motivated me to go further with my project and explore what I could build with the tools we learned. SheCodes completely demystified the world of front-end development for me. The lessons were bite-sized and manageable, making it possible to learn a complex new skill while balancing my daily schedule. I feel empowered to take the next step in my tech journey!

The SheCodes Python Basics course provides a strong foundation for anyone new to programming. The course is organized and presented clearly, making it easy to understand. The step-by-step explanations and exercises helped reinforce each lesson and made the learning process engaging.

Honestly I'm fuming, this entire course is an absolute scam. First of all, the videos are outdated and writing a stupid disclaimer on top of them is not enough; second of all, there is an entire lesson on how to convert the temperature on the nth weather app from celsius to fahrenheit (wasting time by constantly rambling about how you always forget how to spell it) just to tell me to delete that part because you don't want to explain how to extend that conversion to the forecast... Apparently learning how to apply fcking animated icons is more important than learning how to use state management... You literally claim that with the bootcamp you get "the ultimate training in coding to learn everything you need to become a professional developer" but I'm almost done with it and it feels like a total waste of money and time because it's all superficial knowledge at most. However I guess it's my own fault for not doing my research properly

In just four weeks, I’ve gone from having no coding experience to building a full project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course is fast paced and packed with valuable content, which makes it both challenging and exciting. What I love most is the hands-on approach, you learn by doing, making mistakes, and improving along the way. It’s incredibly rewarding to see everything come together into a real website. A month ago, I wouldn’t have believed I could do this. This has been such a fun and empowering introduction to coding.

I had very little coding experience; the last time I touched HTML was editing my blog as a teenager. Curious and eager to learn, I joined the SheCodes course. The lessons are easy to follow, and each challenge really helped me understand things better. Learning at my own pace let me go back and re-study anything I didn’t get the first time. I loved every hands-on project, and by the end, I couldn’t believe I had built a fully functional landing page for my favourite Formula 1 team. It was such a confidence boost and made me excited to keep coding!

It pushed me to apply my knowledge in a practical way, which boosted my confidence so much.
