The Workshop continues to be a life changing process with the highs and lows, this one has been challenging but with determination it is doable. Thank you very much for this great learning opportunity again
๐ It's fun and interesting to learn!
Learned a lot in this Basics add-on! Now, I'm looking forward to the next workshop!
I finished this course after finishing shecodes Basics, and this is definitely a cool/easy add-on for whatever we learned in the first section of learning. Now.. onto python!
This workshop was so fun and i really learned lots! Working with API can be tricky, but it was so interesting once i got the hang of it. It is such a cool thing to be able to connect with the world through programs like we do today, so im grateful to this course for teaching me more about it.
Eager to learn, quick in picking up patterns, curious mind.
Learnt a lot from this course. Can't wait to utilise this knowledge and learn more.
Great course to learn a lot of new techniques.
Probably, this was for me the hardest part to submit and finish the last step of the course - I have learned so much, and I can only say BIG THANK YOU!
This AI workshop has been a game changer โ Iโve learned so much and gained the confidence to build real, AI-powered projects from scratch.
I didn't just learn to code with SheCodes. I discovered that the poet in me and the developer in me were always the same person. I came in as a published author and founder with zero formal tech training. I'm leaving as a full-stack developer who has built a weather app that maps emotions to healing rituals, an accessibility platform, a K53 practice app for South Africans, and a live portfolio that international companies are already noticing. SheCodes didn't teach me to think like a developer ... it gave me the tools to build the worlds I was already imagining. For every African woman who thinks tech isn't for her: it is and SheCodes is where you prove it to yourself.
I really enjoyed the course. It was a good mixture of interesting and challenging. I have learned so much!
I loved learning basic html, CSS and JavaScript in this short course. Makes me want to further my knowledge in creating websites and these couple of weeks have provided such a good basis to continue building on top of.
I learned more about grit and learning to troubleshoot. Good sessions!
The 3-week Basic course was really helpful and beginner-friendly. I enjoyed creating my first landing page and learning the basics of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. It made coding feel fun and less intimidating, and I would definitely recommend it to beginners.
I absolutely loved this workshop! The lessons are broken down into manageable steps, making complex topics feel easy to understand. I'm amazed at how much I've learned in such a short time.
Shecodes Basic has helped me learn the basics of coding. The short lessons are easy to understand and follow. You work at your own pace, which is great. I'm looking forward to learning more and advancing my coding skills.
The way everything is explained makes everything so much easier. I'm eager to keep learning.
This gardening project helped me practice CSS Grid, background styling, and transform effects. I also added a dark/light theme toggle with JavaScript. The real images made it personal and meaningful. I learned how to keep images the same size and improve my layout skills.
Iโve had two interesting weeks learning and experimenting with SheCodes AI API integration through the She Codes plus AI package. Building projects was challenging but exciting, and Iโve gained hands-on experience creating interactive AI-powered web applications.โ Looking forward to learn more.
This workshop was very challenging, but I learned so much from it. I am confident i will b able to create my own projects in no time.
I have been finding my feet with my career and starting the SheCodes journey has made me feel confident with my career path. It is so much fun seeing my coding work become a design on a website. I am grateful to SheCodes and Delac Foundation, and I cannot wait to see how much more I can learn.

Python is very nice to learn!
SheCodes made learning to code feel clear, structured, and achievable. The hands-on projects helped me truly understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript instead of just watching tutorials. Highly recommend it to anyone starting their coding journey!
This coding this time around is very very eyes opening, i was able to learn new things like HTML Table, section and also making my project always responsible.
I'm having so much fun learning all the new functions. The class was really easy but so enriching.

If youโre starting from zero, SheCodes is an amazing first step. The format makes learning feel manageable and structured.
Itโs amazing how much Iโve learned in just three weeks. The lessons demystify coding and make it feel approachable, even for a complete beginner. Iโm so glad I decided to start my programming journey, itโs never too late! Matt structures the course in a way that builds on the skills and knowledge you already have, allowing you to combine everything and create your own project by the end. Of course, it can be challenging at times, but thatโs all part of learning something new. Over the past three weeks, Iโve had so much fun exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Thereโs still so much more to learn, and Iโm excited to see where this journey takes me next. Overall, these three weeks have been an incredible experience, and Iโve gained so much knowledge.
I had the best and easiest experience learning programming with shecodes.
I found this to be one of if not the most helpful part of SheCodes, helping us learn how to break into the field. I now have a portfolio site, updated resume, updated LinkedIn, etc. as I begin my job search.
recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop and it has been an amazing experience. I truly enjoyed every part of the learning journey. The lessons are clear, practical, and very engaging, which made it easy to build real projects and grow my confidence in coding. Everything about the workshop is well organized and supportive. I am very excited to continue with more workshops and dive deeper into AI. SheCodes is truly the best place to learn and grow in tech.
highly recommend the SheCodes Basic Add-On to anyone who wants to go beyond the fundamentals and truly strengthen their coding skills. The lessons are clear, practical, and incredibly well-structured, making it easy to build confidence step by step. What I loved most is how hands-on the projects are you donโt just watch, you actually create. It turns learning into real progress you can see on your screen. If you want an extra boost of knowledge, more practice, and a deeper understanding, this add-on is absolutely worth it. Itโs motivating and empowering!
She Codes has been an incredible learning journey for me. Before She Codes, I had no idea where to start with coding. Now I can confidently build a web page using HTML,CSS and JavaScript The courses on She Codes are well-structured and engaging. The instructors break down complex concepts in a way that actually sticks
Honestly, working on these advanced Python projects felt really rewarding. I got to dig into CSV files, filter and organize data, and then turn it into clear visualizations that actually made sense. It wasnโt just about writing code, it was about learning how to keep things clean, documented, and professional, which gave me a lot more confidence in my skills.
The workshop made learning to code in python fun. It was challenging and requested some research, but it enhanced the learning.
Learning to code as a beginner can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Small projects teach you to think logically, solve problems and bring ideas to life on the screen. Every step, from writing the first HTML page to adding interactive features with JavaScript, builds confidence and I am hoping new opportunities will be opened.
This 8 weeks sessions I have got to learn a lot especially on the projects. This is is the best platform for women because I have managed it as I was still attending to my normal routines and classes, meaning that you can learn at your convenient time in Shecodes
Throughout this course, I gained skills in writing cleaner code with the practice of prompts as well as learning to test and debug code when necessary. Python is very versatile and has an extensive ecosystem to develop different applications for usage.
This course is just perfect ๐ I learned so much. Thank you Matt, as I always said you are a great instructor! Happy to got a chance to join your workshops โจ๏ธ๐
This workshop has been an incredible journey. I learned how to build a functional World Clock application from scratch, mastering JavaScript logic, Moment.js, and complex timezone management. The hands-on projects allowed me to turn theory into a professional-looking tool. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bridge the gap between basic HTML and real-world web development!
This material was very well presented, and in a manner beginners can easily pick up! I would highly recommend anyone interested in learning coding to be a part of SheCodes!
I have learned quite a lot in this short course, and I now feel more confident about coding. Even though it was challenging, I am excited to keep building on what I have learned.

Completing the React course with SheCodes has honestly been such an empowering experience. Everything was explained so clearly and structured in a way that made even complex concepts feel simple and manageable. I still canโt believe I finally understand React ;something I struggled with so much during my university years. The lessons were easy to follow, practical, and actually enjoyable. While the experience was sometimes challenging, the well-organized curriculum, continuous motivation, and quick assistance truly made a meaningful impact. A special thanks to Matt Delac for his outstanding teaching approach โ his lessons were clear, hands-on, and inspiring, helping to simplify even the toughest concepts. Iโm equally thankful to the support team for their patience and readiness to help whenever I faced difficulties. This journey has strengthened me not only as a developer but also as a critical thinker and problem-solver, and I deeply value the encouraging learning environment you have built. This add-on addition was great to learn.
One of the toughest weeks I have had going back and forth with this workshop but at last I'm done with it and honestly it was all worth it. Learnt a lot of different techniques to make any webpage responsive on any screen.
Difficult but interesting learning experience
Great workshop! Python is such an interesting language! I really enjoyed learning how to use it.
This course was challenging, yet fun. I loved using all the tools I have learnt to create a website. What I enjoyed the most was creating the multiple pages, making it responsive, SEO, and much more. I really enjoyed this workshop, and I feel like I am already an experienced Front-end Engineer ๐
I was a complete beginner, however the layout of the course has made things simpler to comprehend in the way the course is structured. The submissions have been extremely useful as you are able to apply everything you learn and put into practise, which is the best way to learn. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, this will be a avenue I will definitely taking further with the Plus course.
I had fun learning about AI. The course was informative.
SheCodes Plus really helped me move from understanding basic concepts to actually building structured, dynamic applications. I especially appreciated working with real APIs and learning how to organize a project in a more professional way. The course strengthened my understanding of JavaScript and gave me more confidence when working independently. It felt less like following instructions and more like truly understanding how things work together. I now feel much more comfortable building projects from scratch and connecting frontend applications to real data.
Really enjoyed learning the resources and methods in this course, and building my first draft of a portfolio website felt really motivating and productive! I feel I have a much better understanding of what front-end development entails and requires today.
SheCodes basics Add-ons gave me a chance to apply what I learned in Basics to more creative projects. These challenges have pushed me to think more critically, and I am proud of how far I have come.
My journey with SheCodes Plus was not an easy one, but it was absolutely worth it. There were moments when I felt challenged and overwhelmed, especially when certain concepts didnโt immediately make sense. However, those challenges pushed me to grow beyond what I thought I was capable of. One of the biggest reasons I made it through was Matt Delac. He has an incredible way of making complex topics feel smooth and manageable. His teaching style is clear, practical, and very encouraging. He doesnโt just teach you how to code โ he teaches you how to think like a developer. Even when things felt difficult, his guidance and structured lessons made it easier to keep going. What I loved most about the program is how it kept me engaged. Sometimes, if I didnโt get something right, it would stay on my mind the whole day, and I would even wake up in the middle of the night determined to figure out how to fix my code. Instead of giving up, I became more curious and more persistent โ and thatโs when I realized I was truly learning. SheCodes Plus didnโt just improve my coding skills; it strengthened my problem-solving mindset and resilience. I enjoyed each and every moment of the journey, even the tough ones, because they shaped me into a more confident developer. Iโm proud that I didnโt give up, and Iโm grateful for the support and excellent teaching that made this experience so impactful.
Great little add-on project to cement learning from the Basics course!
This class was challenging and I learned a lot. I am motivated to continue learning.
It was an absolute pleasure working through the SheCodes Academy. The entire journey was interactive, engaging, and motivating, and I always felt supported along the way. The platform was incredibly easy to navigate, and I loved how the projects were practical, hands-on, and reinforced the concepts taught in the lessons. The videos were outstanding as Matt Delac explains everything so clearly and breaks each topic down step by step. Whenever I encountered a challenge, I could always refer back to the videos, which made learning feel manageable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the positive feedback provided whenever mistakes were made during the projects. It encouraged me to keep trying, learn from my errors, and gain confidence in my abilities. Overall, the SheCodes Academy was an enriching, empowering, and truly inspiring experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to start their coding journey, strengthen their skills and abilities while building confidence in creating meaningful projects.
It was a great learning module, and I look forward to the journey ahead.
Completing this course has been a truly empowering experience. It not only strengthened my technical skills in coding through hands-on projects, but it also helped me build confidence and develop a problem-solving mindset. Iโve learned how to think like a developer and turn ideas into real, working projects. This program has opened new opportunities for me in tech and given me a strong foundation to continue growing. Iโm proud of how far Iโve come and excited about the impact this journey will have on my future
Fun online course, and you learn a lot. Matt is a good teacher, and it is easy to get help when you get stuck.
The weekly challenges were well-structured to progressively build the backend development skills for the final project. Really enjoyable and excited to continue learning through #SheCodes.
React is definitely challenging. Understanding components, state management, hooks, and how everything connects requires time and patience. React also brought everything together from what I learned previously and showed me how to build fully functional, dynamic applications.
Excellent class. Learn a lot from the instructor.
I enjoy how the classes are set up, I have learnt a lot in a short period of time.
It was great! I was happy to learn how to use AI in my code!

I just love learning!
This was one of the best learning experiences Iโve ever had! I always thought coding was too difficult and therefore not accessible to me. However, the learning platform developed by Matt made learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript not only manageable, but also a truly fulfilling journey. I highly recommend this coding workshop to everyone. If youโre doubting, go for it!
Over the past couple of months, learning to code with SheCodes has been such an exciting and rewarding journey. What once felt confusing and intimidating has turned into something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. Learning Python was a great experience for me. It was challenging, but I learned a lot. Being able to connect Python with AI and see its potential was very interesting. This experience helped me better understand how powerful technology can be and motivated me to keep learning.โจ
I learned a lot and would recommend it to others. ๐
I am Goitse, a young girl from a small town called Thabazimbi in Limpopo, and I am grateful for enrolling with SheCodes. I have learned a lot even though I was inconsistent, but with the time I took, I have equipped myself with a whole lot of learning experience and enhanced my knowledge from what I have been learning. I thank this programme for ever being introduced to me, and I am willing to learn more with upcoming programmes.
I would rather recommend cheaper or free resources to a friend that are just as good. SheCodes was the first thing to learn coding I stumbled across and I am thankful for the experience. Nevertheless I will continue learning with other material now. In my opinion, it is way too expensive for what you get. Still: it is well explained and well structured!
This has been the perfect first step to make me curious about coding! I can't wait to learn more.
This course is amazing. I learned a lot!
