This course pushes you to overcome some of the challenges you will face as a developer. I have learned so many new techniques and tricks to solve some of the common issues. I'm happy with the program and all the knowlege I have gained over the course of several months. I highly recommend this course.
I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.

The basics add on project was just like the name, an add on that was super helpful and easy to learn.
She Codes was the perfect way to learn some coding! The Basics course was a great way to test out coding to see if that is the path I'd like to pursue in Tech. I decided to pursue UX and PM'ing instead, and the best part is that these coding skills will help on that path as well! I am so excited to be transitioning my career into Tech. She Codes created an amazing space and tool for me to upskill on my time in a very optimistic and encouraging environment. I definitely would recommend SheCodes courses.

I loved learning about making a light/dark theme for the website. I feel like it is definitely something I will want to incorporate into other projects, like the weather app. As always, these courses are very easy to follow and push me to learn new skills.

I love how efficient and flexible learning react makes coding in JavaScript. Learning JSX definitely provided a clearer insight on better identifying bugs. I love how organizing components made it easy to use and navigate through.

Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background. I had zero experience before I started but I have always been very curious to try. The course lived up to my expectations and more: I didn't expect to learn so many things in three weeks. After doing the She Codes Basics course I got a taste of coding and I loved the challenge so I jumped in and decided to continue my coding journey. At times challenging, but so rewarding when you can see your hard work coming together. Would recommend to everyone with aspirations to learn to code.

I am a UX Designer. I learned how to code back in university mainly backend languages (java, python), and being a designer I wanted to better understand developers' perspectives when handing off designs for development. This was the perfect workshop for a good refresher on the basics of front-end development. I love how the concepts are broken down really well which makes it easier to grasp information and love the supportive community on slack.

I liked all the workshops because the teacher explained all the concepts in an easy way. It was rewarding to complete a simple landing page and implement Javascript on it because I have struggled to learn JS before.

I love learning so much about making a website responsive. What I appreciate more is that we learned how to make a website responsive without the use of a framework such as Bootstrap. It is possible to do many things with vanilla HTML and CSS. Thank you so much Matt!
I decided to do a career change and start my software developing journey with sheCodes. I liked in was focused on women learning how to code. The structure of the course was very easy to follow. The work itself was challenging, but having the opportunity to revisit the lessons and videos as many times as I needed it helped me understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I took both, sheCodes basic and sheCodes plus and i find myself very confident with my coding journey after a couple months. There is more to learn to eventually get a job, but this is a solid start point.
In this workshop, we learned week by week how to create a real-time weather app. It was so cool!!! We also learned how to host it online for free. It is such an amazing feeling being able to create something and actually make it available on the web. It feels more real.

SheCodes is a great way to learn to code. The videos are easy to understand and well explained. I've already learned a bit of code on free platforms, but Matt gave me additional tips and tricks during the basic workshop that are very useful and make coding much easier. Matt is passionate about what he does and his idea to start SheCodes is just wonderful in my opinion! Many thanks for that. (I also really enjoyed the SheCodes Radio during my coding sessions).

The PLUS workshop is a full package for someone like me who enjoys learning to code but is scared of actually developing a functional front-end of a website. It was a very nice experience and I learned a lot in this basic workshop. Matt explains very well and the course is very structured. For the moment I will stick with the basics and do easy websites for friends. But my plan for next year is definetly to do the SheCode MAX Workshop and to go all in.
