Fantastic. This was certainly a challenge but the slack community got me through it, and the wonderful addition of the SheCodes bot! I've learned so much during this workshop! I was really struggling to understand a lot of JS concepts when self-studying but Matt really made it a breeze. Thank you.

I've always wanted to formally learn coding because my career has required me to edit it for various reasons (websites, newsletters, widgets, etc). I was getting by with limited knowledge, hunches, and the mundane cycle of trial and error. I thought taking a course would be too hard, especially while I work. I was so wrong. Coding is fun and the knowledge I gained will serve me in my current and future roles! If you're on the fence—do it scared!

It has been so helpful to be able to learn coding on my own time by watching Matt's thorough tutorial videos. A big part of what makes this course very helpful as well is the Slack community. Being able to see similar issues others face and seeing solutions is a big help when I would get stuck. I'm a UI/UX Designer, so I don't need to create code in my job, but this course has made it much easier for me to talk with developers and I am now more comfortable exploring code in inspect mode in order to find things out myself. Learning coding makes you think more logical, and brings you into a different way of communicating, receiving and putting out information and commands, in order to achieve the end goal. I find the course challenging but satisfying, making me egger to move on to the next task. You have slack, where you can meet other women from all over the world, that are experiencing the same as you. Really enjoying the course. This is the first internet course that has ever court, my attention, and i am happy I joined up.

SheCodes Plus Add-on project was a great way to learn about time and dates and learn a few new tricks working with CSS, HTML, and Javascript.
Never thought I would have made it this far, from SheCodes basic workshop, to SheCodes Plus, and now SheCodes React. Lots of challenges and tons of fun as well. I am really thrilled that I learnt something totally different from what I studied back in the university, and I feel a great sense of accomplishment. Can't wait to start my next workshop!!

I am a mom of 2 very young children who doesn't have much time to learn, and consider myself a slow learner. I was hesitant to start at first, however I found Matt's way of teaching was so easy to understand as he really guide me step by step. I also love how Matt encourages us to look for answers in Google and it was quite easy to find solutions in Slack. Shecodes team had been very friendly and gave a fast response to my enquiries. I've never thought learning how to code can be this fun! Thank you Matt and team! What I love most about this course is it's toughtfulness in arranging the packages from Basic to Max, so I can test the water to know whether or not I'll learn further about coding. Very well done!

SheCodes Basics is a great Workshop! I learned important things about html, css, JavaScript and created my own html page. This Workshop shows how the html pages work on the "other" side of the laptop screen.
This Add-on workshop was loads of fun. I learned some amazing skills in javascript that I can apply to some more complex future projects. It was the right amount of challenging and fun. Looking forward to the responsive workshop next!
I highly suggest shecodes to ones who are in the first step of learning, the primary benefit is that the schedule is flexible and also it allows student to work in the environment with less needing materials or get a subscription from other software.
She Codes Plus was a great beginner course. I feel like it helped me figure out if I would love or hate coding (I love it!) I can't wait to continue my learning.
I have tested out a few other coding courses online but always ended up leaving and searching for a new one. Matt explained everything perfectly and even taught me how to do additional research to make my websites even better than what the homework requires me to do. The support from the SheCodes team was also a wonderful experience for me, I felt comfortable knowing that my questions are always welcome. I have been logging on every day for 2-3 weeks straight and I actually enjoy learning here, I will be completing the advanced workshops.
I was scared to learn coding, but decided to challenge myself! This workshop was fun and easy to follow. If I can do it, you can too!

Lesson by lesson I feel more confident and that I'm absorbing the information. I completely feel like I made the right decision to start learning code. SheCodes is always open to be my fresh eyes when I get stuck or something stops working! But, I feel accomplished when I'm also able to solve my own mistakes without any help and I feel that it's because they push me to try my best first.
I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have learned in these past 3 weeks. I started not knowing how to code in HTML at all, and now have made 2 projects on my own. I now feel comfortable creating a portfolio to showcase my work and start applying for jobs! I plan to return and enroll in SheCodes plus as soon as I can! This is an amazing program, I have referred others as well!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes workshop! I've tried many other resources to learn how to code, but I would lose momentum and stop halfway through. The SheCodes workshop broke down concepts into bite size pieces that were easy to follow and understand. That in conjunction with the challenges and homework deadlines really helped motivate me to complete each lesson. I am so excited that I now have a way to execute my ideas!
I learnt a lot from the React add-on weeks...to be honest I felt challenging even harder before since it is quite confusing and didn't get it clearly. Although I finished all the lessons and am waiting for the Next week, I am always ready to review what I have done whenever I need to. First time I didn't know what to do when I decided to learn how to code, my start was right with Matt and SheCodes team, thanks for your support and great lessons!

SheCodes has been really a blessing to my learning journey. Matt is really a good teacher, breaks down concepts into bite sized chunks that do not make a student feel panicked. I absolutely loved this course! I feel like I've learned a lot in a short amount of time and Matt is a great teacher. The challenges throughout the course are really helpful to master the theory and the support on Slack is also great. I started out not really knowing if I could do this and now I'm looking at signing up for the next course and dive even deeper into coding!
This course was a lot of fun to learn and I had all of the control when it came to creating my portfolio. I can't wait to keep on learning to gain more skills and hopefully getting a job in tech🤞🏻. The SheCodes React Workshop was the most challenging but I've learned so much throughout this course, and I'm inspired to continue learning more about React.

I absolutely loved this workshop! Although I already had some experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Matt really helped me to fully understand the fundamentals by thoroughly explaining each concept which gave me the confidence to be able to write my own code without having to use google as much as I use to. The videos and challenges are also easy to follow along with and keep you engaged until the next topic. I'm excited to continue learning through SheCodes!
After completing workshop one I definitely have a better understanding of coding. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn more in each workshop moving forward.

This workshop was extremely challenging and I loved because of it. Matt teaches like I wish I had this kind of teacher back in high school or uni. I have just completed this workshop which I found to be very helpful and also challenging. Its certainly a step up from shecodes basics but you learn so much more especially in the context of javascript and API's. I now feel confident in making other similar projects using all the technologies that I have learnt.

SheCodes Plus is definitely a before and after, without a doubt in this course the level of learning is higher and at the beginning of each new lesson you feel a bit overwhelmed but as you complete the challenges, everything new you learn is remarkable, always in a very organized and didactic way. This workshop was a smooth transition into what can come next after learning web development. Tools we used from previous workshops were brought back plus new features. React was a little tricky at first but you are guided every step of the way and this workshop helps make implementing this tool more manageable.
