Working with technology has been an exciting and rewarding journey. Exploring new tools, building projects, and solving real-world problems through code has strengthened my skills and confidence. Each learning experience motivates me to grow further and contribute meaningfully in the field of technology.

"Wooowee"😅 what a wild ride it has been. React is a force to be reckoned with. There were many times when I thought I missed plan JS but it was all worth it in the end. I am so proud of myself for making it this far, nearing the finish line. I am so grateful for each lesson and for the community on slack. I feel blessed to be here and learning all of this. After completing the Basic certificate, the Add-on course helped me deepen my skills and confidently build more complex projects. The lessons are clear and practical, and I feel well-prepared to apply what I’ve learned.

I learned so much building the weather app. Thought challenging at time, the course was easy to understand and the concepts were well explained.

I learnt more concepts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and was able to apply everything I've learnt when doing building my landing page about Sudoku. It was so thrilling in learning this workshop,tho i had some diffculties here and there but i kept going. I am glad i have able to go through with this workshop and i learnt so many new things.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is new to coding and wants to have a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a beginner, I was intimidated at first but as I learnt the course work and did the challenges it actually is amazing, and very interesting and my confidence has increased immensely. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with SheCodes has been amazing! I built my Hockey Hobby landing page from scratch, added links, animations, and a responsive grid, and even implemented a dark/light theme toggle. This project let me practice everything I learned in the SheCodes basics and gain real hands-on experience turning my ideas into working web pages. I feel confident applying my skills to future projects.

Over this course I learned how to build a dynamic weather application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I practiced fetching data from an API, displaying current weather conditions, and integrating a weekly forecast with icons and temperatures. Overall, I really enjoyed the process of turning live data into an interactive web page and seeing my code come to life.

In this project, I created an interactive web page about Ballet Dance using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML was used to structure the content, including headings, images, buttons, and text. CSS was used to style the page and improve its appearance. I applied CSS Grid to display images in a responsive gallery and used CSS transformations and transitions to add hover effects and smooth animations. These features make the page more engaging and visually appealing. I also implemented a dark theme toggle using JavaScript. By clicking a button, users can switch between light mode and dark mode. The selected theme is saved using localStorage, allowing the preference to remain even after refreshing the page. JavaScript was further used to add simple interactivity, such as an alert message when clicking the “Learn Ballet” button. Overall, this project demonstrates my understanding of basic front-end web development concepts and my ability to combine structure, styling, and interactivity into a functional and user friendly webpage

A well-structured, beginner-friendly program that focuses on real learning and consistency. This program helped me gain confidence in website development by building projects and implementing concepts in real world.

It was a great experience, and I’m really glad I went through it. Through React, I grew as a developer and learned how to structure an application using components, manage dynamic data with state, and handle other important aspects of building interactive web apps.

I truly enjoyed my experience in this workshop. Matt has a unique way of making complex concepts easy to grasp. He is incredibly patient, taking the time to ensure everyone is on the same page, and his slow deliberate explanations make learning fun and manageable. This workshop felt like learning from a caring friend with a funny accent.

Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I’ve gained real hands-on skills by building actual projects from creating my own luxury bags landing page to recreating well-known pages like the McDonald’s landing page and a StellaPay banking system. I’ve also built essential UI flows such as login, sign-up, and forgot password pages, which helped me understand how real-world websites are structured and function. Most importantly, SheCodes helped me translate my Figma designs into real, working code, bridging the gap between design and development. The experience has boosted my confidence, strengthened my problem-solving skills, and I continue to grow and practice with every project I build.

I'm really enjoying my experience learning with SheCodes. It has been well paced and hasn't felt too overwhelming, simply tackling two to three lessons every evening and the homework over the weekend. From complete beginner to building my first projects, SheCodes made coding accessible and exciting! The hands-on projects and supportive community have given me a strong foundation, and even though I still have a lot to learn, I’m motivated to keep improving and exploring new skills.

This workshop was very helpful to learn one of the most important and widely used css grid. The workshop also covers some of the important tips on how to adjust images and make elements interactive by adding hover effects and transform properties.

The Basic Workshop does a really good job of continuing to build on the core skills right from the beginning. I enjoyed working through the lessons in my own time while still being held accountable for the weekly homework deadlines. This course has made me eager to continue to learn to code.

Taking this course has been a great experience and really boosted my confidence in web development. SheCodes Plus was a great start to learning to code. Matt's lessons are clear and step by step, and you can tell he enjoys what he does. The javascript portions are tricky, but coding is all about getting the reps in. After only the first few weeks of the Plus course I was able to make significant changes to my report generator web program at work - changing the layout to be more sleek and user friendly, and adding better work flow functionality for my technicians. So much more to learn, but I'm very happy I used SheCodes as my intro to coding.

Its been a wild ride but so worth it. I never thought I would be able to do all this stuff and its taken lots of time and effort and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I hope to continue learning in my next lessons!!

This was a very cool course that taught me a lot about how to speak to AI generators to get them to do exactly what you want. A very handy skill! As always, Matt is a great instructor and knows exactly how to structure the lessons to make everything very understandable, easy and fun to learn!

This project let me use Python skills like functions, lists, and APIs to build a real weather app, reinforcing everything I’ve learned so far.

This Shecodes workshop has helped me learn a lot of things that I never knew before. I was not a beginner, but I have realized that I have known much right now.

The final project in the Responsive course was both challenging and enjoyable! Using Bootstrap helped me understand how to make websites adapt to any screen size. I also found the wireframing lessons really eye-opening, inspiring me to focus more on user-friendly designs. A valuable learning experience overall!

As an accounting student i never thought coding would become something that i enjoy. It was hard at first understanding all of the tools developers use but I can tell with passion and hard work everything is possible. What I have learned is that "Focus on the input, the output will determine itself". Thanks to SheCodes for giving me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone.
