Thank you Shecodes for this unique opportunity. The journey was not easy. I asked for extension twice but I'm happy to finish the project and to know that I can learn coding. Coding is a new world I am discovering and I wish to gradually become more sound in it. I like the part that coding encourages both analytical, constructive and creative thinking.
This course was full of information and I learned a lot. Before taking this course, I didn't a thing about coding. I would recommend this course to anyone trying to break into the tech field.
This workshop was tricky, but I would highly recommend it. I'm only 13, so if I can do it, you can too. I've learned a great deal in a very brief time span. The shecodes staff was very helpful, and Matt is a great teacher.
I can't believe I already finished my shecodes training! I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun coding and doing the different projects. I loved the practical aspect of the training, it's very well explained and very complete. I can't wait to continue my coding adventure thanks to shecodes :)
SheCodes was such a fun, amazing experience. I've wanted to learn more about coding for a while now, so when I saw an ad about SheCodes I decided to give it a try. I love that it's a platform solely for woman to learn a skill in a world that's primarily male-dominated, so that women can feel comfortable learning how to code with the support of other females learning alongside them. The lessons are broken down into easy to understand segments and the fact that you can go at your own pace is awesome. It was so fun to be able to put all of my knowledge from the course together at the end to make my own web site.

Shecodes is my favourite way to learn coding. Matt has such a great human approach so things that are difficult for me to understand with a learning disability are now possible to make sense. It really has helped my confidence.

I highly recommend SheCodes workshops! I have been having a great time and learning so much throughout the courses. This workshop was challenging , but in a great way. As I submitted my final project I was reflecting on all the hard work and hours of time I spent on it. It is a more challenging workshop, progressing from Basics to Plus. Overall, great experience getting to learn further and how to improve coding. The challenges and homework in every lessons have given me the opportunity to learn and analyse more. Good progression of learning for me with the lessons that are broken into smaller sections which provide me a medium that is easy to understand and follow.
SheCodes is different from other options I’ve tried because of the community behind it, also Matt is a great teacher. I learned a lot of things through the SheCodes and I am able to design web application as it really boosted my interest towards front-end development. Slack is really efficient to discuss and solve your doubts with others.The SheCodes team instantly helps to solve doubts which is extremely helpful feature for problem solving and coding.Looking Forward to learn and explore with SheCodes. SheCodes plus was full of wonders! so many ups and downs and that was the beauty of it! after each project I could feel the progress; and thanks to the community on Slack I managed to learn from mistakes. This course I, like most Ukrainians, joined in times I was forced to pack up an emergency suitcase because of the war to start everything from the scratch away from home. This suitcase could not contain what I really wanted to keep in — loved ones, important words, and my own resilience. Amount of new knowledge, structured approach, challenging tasks and support from SheCodes team and other students made my progress not only in coding but what is more important in my ability to learn new things and get back my inner strength. It's a little bittersweet because this is my last workshop. SheCodes React was exciting and challenging, and I completely had to "step away" from my computer a few times as Matt usually suggests to do when we are stuck :). You have enough time and possibility to practice new information - almost every lesson has one challenge, at the end of this lecture you can also check, how this challenge (of course it will be not the only one solution, because your code can be also correct) should be done and improve your solution. This has been such an exciting, mind-blowing, challenging and rewarding experience! I have always been fascinated by coding but it seemed too complex to even consider. SheCodes Plus took me from someone who had a foundation to learn intermediate skills after SheCodes Basics, to someone with a foundation to be a professional. I was able to fit the course around my job, and my motivation was high throughout due to the accessible atmosphere and breakdown of content.
I get to learn about many things I never knew about before. Also it was very interesting to build working app from the scratch.
I love SheCodes, easy to follow. it's an amazing learning journey, I don't believe I can finish learning the coding so far and become addicted. Coding actually is fun, it is like solving a puzzle. Coding with SheCodes something impossible becomes possible. Women can code? yes..with SheCodes.
I can't believe that I passed this part and I learned JavaScript as well. I can't believe it! during this path, you may feel exhausted, sometimes bored. You may feel you are not made for programming or developing. but at the end of the workshop, you can see your own project, your own child 💖 you can see how far you come and you made it! The SheCodes Basics workshop was excellent. The video tutorials were clear and provided step-by-step guidance for the topics in html, css, and javascript. I learned a lot but it was not overwhelming. Once I completed the final project, I realized JUST how much I have learned over the course of this workshop. I'm super proud of myself. I particularly like that you never feel alone or without community because the Slack workspace has a ton of students going through the same challenges as you and you get answers to your questions from the SheCodes team in usually less than 24 hours. Fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone who interested in getting started with the basics.

SheCodes has got to be one of the best formatted basic coding courses I have ever had the privilege of participating in. There was just enough learning time to really absorb each lesson and with submitted code expectation, I felt a real accomplishment had been made. I also loved the tips and tricks that Matt would include in the lesson, which made my experience a lot more simplified.

These courses are just a godsend for both beginners and people who have already tried to learn on their own and only confused themselves more. I had the opportunity to study in various free courses and I tried to study on my own, but the irregular presentation of the material only complicated everything. English is not my native language, but despite this, it was very easy and interesting for me to listen to lectures and complete the tasks described. So these courses are an amazing opportunity to learn what you have wanted to learn for so long. Good luck!

Three weeks of SheCodes Basics flew really fast. The course is well-organised: it gives neither too much nor too little information, always keeps you a bit "hungry" and entertained at the same time. You always want to learn more today and, as the videos are short, it's easy to accomplish.
React was very challenging and difficult to learn. It really tested my patience and skills. But overall I have learned a lot and I can't wait to start my coding career!

It was challenging, but I learned a lot. There was always help available on Slack when I got stuck.
I've been interested in learning how to code for some time and found free courses online but the issue with those is that it's very hard to be motivated. This workshop is different as all the videos are not only very informative but very easy to follow. Each video has a challenge which makes you put your skills to practice and I've enjoyed every single one of them. Also, Matt's a great instructor and I highly recommend this workshop.
I always wanted to find something I liked and could work with. With SheCodes I had the opportunity to find a course that was a completely new area for me and that went far beyond my expectations. I'm very happy with everything I've learned and I want to continue learning because I think I finally found something I really like.🥰

I've had such a great time taking this course and will continue to complete more workshops. What makes SheCodes special is that they take the time to explain why things function, and what the intentions are behind the code. I've attempted to take other courses that often lacked the understanding of how to explain the steps of why things are done. Instead, those courses often presented sterile explanations of what is being done on a screen. Matt is an excellent instructor, and his method of teaching actually helps you learn, not just memorize.
Before SheCodes, coding was intimating and daunting but this workshop introduced me to the fundamentals and contributed confidence in my ability to learn and utilize code!
