Woohoo! I have achieved my final certificate with SheCodes (React)! It's bittersweet as I'm going to miss the community and the staff. But I'm so very grateful for everything that I have learned and I'm so excited to continue learning and growing! One of the best things about SheCodes is that it's not "just another boot camp or workshop". It's an actual community! I have been inspired by so many of my SheCodes classmates and I'm so happy that SheCodes provides a place for us to connect! I believe that we are strong but together we are stronger! This workshop was a great experience: the pace is not to quick yet such a high amount of topics is taught, such a good learning curve!

The React course was really great, although probably took me more than 5 hours a week to complete. But it was fun and I learned a lot.

This course was broken down into manageable chunks that made it easy to stay on top of what had been taught! By the end of this three week course I feel like I have received a very comprehensive introduction to coding and am interested in learning more.
Thanks to SheCodes, I learned how to make a website responsive for all devices. This course make the whole process of building responsive website seem so intuitive and simple. I loved all the tutorials of this course just like the previous SheCodes courses. I feel more confident as I learned this important skill with SheCodes and I built a very nice portfolio so easily as my final project. so I put all my projects in my portfolio to showcase them all at once.
Loving SheCodes since day 1. Easy to follow, learn and practice. Plus is quite challenging and interesting, but it's worth the dedication.
SheCodes is a great way to learn how to code even if you have no prior knowledge!
Prior to this course, I had zero experience with coding. I always thought it was something really hard to learn. I tried to learn by myself but the online class I was taking had no support, it was hard to keep myself motivated. I heard about SheCodes in an online group of women in tech, I did some research and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy that I made the decision to try one more time with SheCodes, I have all the support I need when I get stuck at some part of my code, the lessons are direct and short, very well put together! I am excited to continue on this journey.
What a journey this has been, from learning the basics to being able to create applications in React. This course was mentally challenging and equally rewarding. I will miss Matt's tutorials and forever enjoy re-visiting lessons when I'm stuck!
SheCodes is a great environment to learn how to code. I've never felt this confident that I would walk away from a workshop with a completed portfolio.
SheCodes Basics has been such an enjoyable experience. I started with very little knowledge of coding and learned so much along the way. Matt is an excellent instructor and his team are readily available should you have any questions. I can't remember a uni assignment I enjoyed as much as our final project. If you're on the fence, just do it!
SheCodes Plus was really challenging workshop. There were days when I got really frustrated with coding, but as Matt always says you've got to take some time off and try later😤I am really happy to have started this coding journey with SheCodes team. It's been an absolute blast to take this course. Matt makes it so easy and he explains everything in a very pedagogical way. Fun fact: as an engineer I had a very short introduction to Python a few years ago, and I thought it was incredibly boring. Never ever had I thought that I (willingly) would take a coding course in the future. But here I am, and this course have been nothing like my previous experience. All of a sudden coding is extremely fun and I just want to learn more and more. I guess that's the difference between a really good teacher and a not so good one. Now I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Pro that I will start with on Monday!
I was always doubted to start coding, but I have to confess this course was one of the best learning experiences in my whole life! I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.
SheCodes was a great way to learn coding. The setup makes it really easy to balance with a full-time job and work at my own pace week to week.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning something new and taking a chance on this coding course. I think coding is going to be an important skill to learn in the future and a lot more people should join in, especially women. After doing the Basic Workshop, I already knew I was going to like it. But it's really unbelievable to me what I've learned in 8 weeks. I wouldn't have thought that I could programme a weather app in such a short time.
After trying to learn web development on my own, this is by far the most progress I've gotten. SheCodes basic helped me understand CSS and Javascript, something I've struggled with for a long time.

I am looking to change careers after 11 years in the retail business. I found this workshop on Facebook. Computers have always intrigued my interests and I had to apply after I signed up for the free workshop they were offering! I have learned so much from this program so far and I'm only on the first workshop! I'm anxious to finish to get started in this field!
This course is perfect if you want to go deeper in your code knowledge. I specially reinforce my JS knowledge. I also learned a lot about how to manage files and improve the pace of work. I literally knew NOTHING about computers. I had to borrow one to do the course. I am BLOWN AWAY that now, in just 3 short weeks, I know some html, css, and java script!! SheCodes Basics was my first introduction to Coding. I wanted to learn to code for a while. After taking the free coding class, I knew SheCodes was where I wanted to start my journey! It’s fun to learn
After finishing SheCodes Basic, I started SheCodes Plus straight away. I am so new to coding and was so enthusiastic with my first project, I did not want to lose momentum. And again, the experience was AMAZING. I enjoyed coding even more and was impressed how much we can learn in such a short time. Thank you, Matt and your team, for great lessons and project support. Having tried other coding boot camps and courses before, I discovered SheCodes and decided to try out the free class. Seeing that everything clicked for me, I decided to join the 3-week workshop. It was a blast and I felt I actually learned some basic coding and I feel confident on my journey to become a software engineer.

SheCodes taught me that you can learn a new skill at any age and in any life stage. i thought i was meant to only thrive in a public health setting, as i'm currently pursuing a master's in public health. however, after working though matt's accessible & fun workshops, i was reminded how awesome it was to not only learn but also start to really *get* a new skill very intuitively. ty matt i love SheCodes basics :)
