The tutorials are very structured and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a beginner or someone who had been wanting to learn web development but is unable to because of heavy content online.
SheCodes basic workshop made me interested in coding but, Plus workshop was on another levelπ€. Solving the weekly exercises and seeing the results of the work gave me a lot of self-confidence and made me eager to learn more. I even almost every day read at least one of SheCodes success stories which gave me more motivation to work harder to achieve my goals. I can't wait to start the next workshop
From a beginner without any knowledge of coding whatsoever and to how much I have learned in the past couple of weeks, blows my mind. I had so much fun learning how to code! The workshop was split into html, css and javascript so you could understand each one before moving onto the next which broke it down and make it so much easier to understand!

Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
Although I encountered significant challenges with a previous coding boot camp, I remain committed to pursuing my dream of becoming a developer. That's why I was thrilled to discover SheCodes on International Women's Day and decided to enroll in their Basics package. It was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I've ever made. This workshop was great for gaining some extra useful knowledge, I learned how to make responsive websites with multiple pages (which seems important nowadays as most people use smaller-screen devices) and how to make the pages SEO-friendly

I learned coding at university but it was too hard for me. And now I wanted to get back to it, and this was amazing program to do so! It's really nice to learn how to make website pages responsive through a project.
As a designer in an ecommerce company, I have been intrigued by coding but struggled to find the time to explore it. Recently, I decided to give it a go and enrolled in SheCodes' free hour-long class. I quickly became hooked and have now completed the basics course. Learning the coding terminology has already proved useful in my current role, and I have even started using inspect and console features with greater ease (I had no idea you could amend colours that way π€―).
The course material was well-organized and easy to follow, and the instructors were knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. i have learned *so* much in the last two weeks. as a (previously) proud luddite, i cannot believe i'm actually coding! the lessons are broken down into very easy-to-follow, bite-sized pieces, and you slowly build up your skillset. i cannot wait to keep going with this course.

The workshop has taught me a lot in a short period of time. It gives an idea of the kind of work developers do. The workshop is designed to enable beginners to easily grasp the concepts and understand how to apply the terms and skill learnt to solve real life problems. Learned a lot in this workshop about building websites that are responsive. Tricky at times, but felt that the challenges and Matt's guidance helped make sense of the details that this requires.
I have always been a bit intimidated by computers and took the free coding webinar with SheCodes on a whim one day. I ran into my husband's office and I said, "I can't believe I've waited this long to start coding. It's so logical and intuitive, and IT IS EXCITING. This is what I'm missing." I'm a chemist and chemical engineer with a background in construction. I've done alot of modeling and python, and a lot of drafting through my career, but never any coding or development. I'm really excited for this new opportunity to learn and expend my skills. I don't think I've ever been so excited to learn something new!
SheCodes Plus was challenging, fun and I learned a lot during the course. To work on usefull project brings a lot of sense to the process.
