This workshop was a great addition to my learning on web development. It included really insightful lessons and advice for web content creation. Also, the final project of a portfolio website means I can show the skills I have learnt and begin to showcase my new work! Each week is a challenge but in an enjoyable and engaging way, I would definitely recommend SheCodes!
This is the first time I was being introduced to Node.js and React.js. My goal was to rebuild the Vanilla Javascript Weather App to a React app. I needed to refactor my codes into different components, in a way that they would appear clearer, but still maintain the same, or even better performance. I was introduced to useState and useEffect, which are confusing at first, but so powerful. Overall, I understand why React.js is used by most developers thanks to its effectiveness, and this is a must-learn as a front-end developer.
Such a great workshop! I learned how to do so many more sophisticated things with CSS and I had a lot of fun building the final project. π₯³

My SheCodes journey was very constructive. I started from scratch, and in 9 months I have learned how to code. It is very fulfilling when you see your own work come to life. I can not say that it was easy, but definately worth it, 1000%. The workshops are very well structured, they are easy to follow and very understandable. The Challanges are fun and exciting. I can highly recommend this courses, they are made in such way that even without previous coding experience you can learn it. Matt is a very good instructor and all the SheCodes team is helpfull.

SheCodes has unlocked a new creative passion within me! Previously I thought learning to code would be highly complex and not visual or creative - but this has proved me wrong! I've been excited to log on and complete all the lessons and projects, and realised how creative you can be. The lesson structures are easy to follow and explained incredibly well. Using slack and Athena have also helped me throughout the course, and made me feel a high sense of accomplishment. I can't wait to book onto the following levels.

Just completed the She Codes Basic-add on course (Intro to Web Development) . The course content was interesting and challenging, but presented in a way that was easy to follow. I like the practical approach to learning coding, which allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. There's a project that we had to create at the end, and Matt, the instructor, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the project, and I felt that I was able to learn a lot through this experience. I also like the fact that everyone's project is unique and different, despite us all learning the same thing. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with She Codes!
I have learned so many new things in these two months. And I'm so excited that I managed to create my first web page. Throughout the whole time I had to work with concentration and diligence, but I must say that it was worth it. Information provided in a clear and concise manner, but with an element of independent work, which also helped to better absorb the material.
Just finished my last workshop and I feel that I learnt so much through the last months, but I know there is so much more to learn. I will sign up to React add-on and SheCodes extra to gain even more skills. SheCodes is a great way to start coding. Now I'm able to use my coding skills at my job.

SheCodes Coding Bootcamp is a fantastic program for women who are looking to develop their coding skills and pursue a career in tech. The bootcamp offers a comprehensive and hands-on approach to learning, with an emphasis on practical skills and real-world applications.
Since I am punctilious and have some design skills, I was always told that I could enter the coding field. But I was always afraid to start until I accidentally met Shecode and started learning. Now I'm not saying that learning coding is easy, but if we learn with the right resources, it can become the most delightful thing that someone can do as a profession. Thanks to Shecode, I hope to continue this path and become a successful developer.

Having completed the SheCodes basics, I am totally impressed by how improved, easy to follow and well-managed SheCodes Plus is. It was an enjoyable experience and I learned a lot through the lessons and also the Slack channel. The team is a huge help to you and you have unlimited access to them. In short, you have access to everything you need for learning with this package.
Lessons are broken down into pieces that are easy to follow and digest. I find that this structure makes the learning easier to follow but the build-up of skill is quicker.
I learned a lot in this responsive workshop. It was very informative and easy to follow. I loved the fact that we can make our projects as responsive as possible with mobile devices as well.
It was super fun to learn new techniques in coding that built on the basics course. I cannot wait to add some changes to my Basics Workshop project that I wanted to do when I first made it!
