The workshop was so much fun! Just challenging enough and very rewarding once you get it right. It's amazing to see your code come to life. My final project is why I wanted to learn how to code in the first place and I hope to continue combining the two in the future.
She Codes Plus is even more challenging and rewarding than the last course. Long distance learning can be complicated, but the lessons are carefully crafted and prepared, the objectives are clear and tutors are always ready to help you, so you feel supported and backed up on every step of the way.
This course was challenging, especially the JavaScript part and I will still need to practise to really get and understand it. But once you understand it, with those tools you can do anything. It was so much fun building the weather app and following the lessons. I have learned so much and had lots of fun doing it! Definitely worth it. I was really happy to see all my hard work pay off when my final project was done. There are so many ways to build your application that is hard to stop playing around!
I'm glad to say that I'm now comfortable with coding; learning new skills without any prior coding experience is incredibly thrilling!
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn coding and SheCodes gave me the confidence to learn a new skill as I am preparing for a career shift after having two little ones back to back! I went into this with zero experience, but the course was well structured that it was so easy to understand. I really enjoyed it and I am surprised at how much I have learned and how much I can do by myself with just the basics course.

This course was so fun! It really built on my existing HTML knowledge and was a great start to learning CSS and Javascript. The final project was my favorite because you got to pick any topic you wanted to focus on.
I recently finished the workshop where I learned how to develop a Dictionary app using React and 2 different APIs. While I found React to be challenging at first, with practice and persistence, I was able to create a functional app. We learned how to integrate 2 APIs (one for word definitions and another for photographs) into the app and how to display the results in a user-friendly way. One thing I appreciated about the workshop was that the instructor provided us with all the code we needed to follow along, but also encouraged us to customize the app and make it our own. Overall, the workshop was informative, and challenging, providing valuable hands-on experience.

I am so happy that I could participate in this course. With the learnings of this course, I am able to get a better view of what is happening on websites and use these learnings to develop my work. I realized how much I am interested in programming and creating and I am sure that I will continue this profession and knowledge.

The React Dictionary project was my favorite. Great final project building on everything we have learned and practicing further React skills as well as gaining experience with connecting multiple APIs.
Working in the tech industry made me notice that we often tend to not bother about taking courses to refresh our knowledge about the things we think we already know. I am so glad I took that bold step of taking the SheCodes Basic course after 1 year of working as a Software Engineer. I am so glad that I started this journey! I did not think I would be able to complete the workshop because of my full-time job, but the setup is helpful for those who need a flexible program. Additionally, getting extensions during those hard work weeks helped me keep going. The assignments made practicing what we learned fun!

This was a very inclusive and useful course, I thoroughly learned how to use HMTL, CSS and Java Script in order to design websites and I definitely recommend this course to other students and learners out there as it was extremely helpful and comprehensive.

I am so excited to finish my SheCodes Plus certification. By far my favorite project to add to my portfolio! JavaScript was more fun and complex than I originally thought going in to this course. I learned that my passion for coding is expanding; I continually think of improving my code throughout the day and understand that I can solve most of my problems if I take a moment to refresh my thoughts. Falling into the routine of coding everyday motivates me to continue to grow my skills and knowledge. That being said on to the next project!

I had zero experience coding but the Basics workshop was a great way to begin learning and to try out whether or not coding would be something to continue learning. The lessons are broken down in a way that makes it easy to follow along and if you get stuck you have resources to help you out as you learn.
I've just finished SheCodes Basics and have learned so much in a short amount of time. Matt is a great teacher and does a good job at simplifying the more complex topics. I'm in a computer programming certificate program at a local university, but feel that I've learned more in just three weeks participating in SheCodes than I have in most of my university courses so far. With the SheCodes workshops, I truly believe ANYONE can not only learn to code, but can excel in the CS field.
I was always scared when I heard people say coding was tough, but thanks to Matt he made it so easy to learn.
This is my fourth SheCodes workshop, and my learning curve has been incredibly steep. I started out with zero knowledge, and SheCodes has given me tons of knowledge and more confidence. SheCodes has given me the confidence to play with code and explore existing libraries and frameworks. The React workshop was terrific; it tied together everything I've learned and pushed me to challenge myself. The instructor is incredibly resourceful and talented and explains things in a simple-to-understand and unique way. The Slack team is ready to answer any question 24/7, and there is a massive community of women with the same goals and ambitions. I cannot recommend these workshops enough!

When I first started my journey, I was intimidated and overwhelmed by the vast amount of information and complex concepts that I needed to learn. I remember the feeling of accomplishment I had when I wrote my first few lines of code, and I still get that same rush of excitement every time I create something new. Learning how to code has been incredible. I would highly recommend anyone who is even remotely interested in coding to give it a try !

Shecodes have motivated me naturally to complete my very first project from start to end! Usually online learning is difficult to complete due to limited self-discipline, and lack of motivation. However, the pace that the lecture is taught at, and the hands-on method works well for me. I really enjoyed the homework and the challenges.

I would highly recommend SheCodes to anybody who would like to learn how to code, especially if you don't have any previous experience(s) with coding! I studied something completely different in Uni, but wanted to be able to transfer the passion that I have for creativity in my free time (in the future) into my 9-5 as well. I also wanted something that would continue to challenge my brain on a daily basis. After some internet searches I came across SheCodes and decided to take the free intro-to-coding class from Matt. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior experience to coding, but as soon as Matt said that you don't need prior experience and that anyone can learn how to code, I decided that it was worth giving it a try. It did not disappoint! I'm so happy that I followed the Basics course; I learned so much in 3 weeks and Matt's explanation videos were pretty easy to follow and also very helpful. At times it can get a bit frustrating when there are mistakes in your code that you're struggling to find and correct, but fear not! By retracing your steps or asking for help on Slack you will eventually figure it out and it will all be worth it! I'm exited to continue learning and can't wait to sign up for SheCodes Plus. 10/10

I loved learning at SheCodes, the course was challenging at first but overtime it got very interesting. In a short span of time, I gained significant knowledge and skills that have equipped me to tackle real-world coding challenges. The course was intense, but it was well worth the effort.
This was one of the best investements I have made for myself! Super proud of everything I have learned, it was really eye-opening to see for myself how all web pages are built, I mean we use them everyday so I enjoyed building some! The course is written in an easy to follow order, very understandable especially for a complete beginner like me, it's very easy to jump from a lesson to another and feel like you are learning so much. I loved having a community of individuals who are starting on the same path and I loved having the support from the team, it helped massively when I didn't know something or I was stuck! Will defintely sign up for the next one, as soon as I will be able to afford it!
