These three weeks were great time that I could learn a lot in SheCodes and it was really helpful. I enjoyed having experience to learn from SheCodes Team. And it is very nice that the team are very supportive.
I've been having a lot of fun with the SheCodes Plus program, plus gaining confidence that I can create an app that works. Months ago, I enrolled in the SheCodes Plus workshop as a complete newbie. Today, I am a lady in tech. Each video was really easy and clear instruction to understand, and each challenge was step-by-step. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to code from scratch!
This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding course, building on the skills learned in the Basics syllabus. I feel a lot more confident in HTML and CSS, and particularly Javscript, and am proud of the project I've made. I enjoy Matt's method and style of teaching and I'm looking forward to starting the next level!
SheCodes is an amazing workshop for women who wants to learn coding! The material you are learning is really easy and interesting to understand, the teacher's work is on highest level. I fell in love with programming and will keep going to improve myself further. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes to my friends!

A brief and worthwhile course for learning the basics of web development. In this course most common tags of HTML and CSS Syntax is taught. Also, one can get familiar with the basics of JavaScript and its functions.
Had absolutely no experience and had a great time learning the basics of coding. Can't wait to continue onto the next workshops!

I really liked this course. The lecture material is very structured. Learning takes place at my pace, I can speed up the video, or repeat it 3 times until I understand the material. After that, I wanted to continue learning Java Script. Now I have an idea of how much I still have to learn.

If the previous course was a bit of a learning struggle for me, She Codes Responsive was when I started to feel confident and having fun with CSS and Bootstrap. And can not underestimate how great it is to have deadlines and stay accountable, or else I could've just given up when I was stuck with my project. Luckily, all worries are behind and I've submitted my portfolio. And it's definitely a progress from what my first website looked like. Cheers!
SheCodes Plus was definitely a more challenging program! Nonetheless, the final project encouraged me to put all newly learned concepts/skills to use. I am also learning that practice and consistency are truly key when trying to learn/improve this particular kind of skillset .

I am truly amazed at how much coding I have learned in the last two weeks; it has been a rewarding challenge for both myself and the coding world. I really enjoyed this workshop. It was nice to know more about Bootstrap and Flexbox. I had a lot of joy doing final projects. I appreciate that SheCodes gave me an opportunity to learn Responsive. Can't wait to start React workshop!
SheCodes is very well-designed and informative. Having pre-recorded videos fits my learning style as you are able to go back and rewatch videos as needed. I am looking forward to continuing further in the course.
I have to say that SheCodes React was not the same as SheCodesPlus or SheCodesBasics. React is very complicated, it has very abstract concepts and it's difficult to grasp. There was a plan for the lesson and mid-video, it completely changes from what we already did to an architecture that makes your whole code malfunction. It would have been better to follow a structure right away and to keep a persistent and confident goal per-lesson. I would say Matt doesn't teach you how to fully comprehend React but to be a Programmer instead of a Developer. Basically, just do this and there you have a working app instead of explaining every single concept carefully so that you can create your own functioning app. A lot of: "This is complicated but you don't need to understand this so let's skip this" and once:"I don't really know what Im doing but thats how the coding journey is like". The architecture is not excellent and naming is not good. This is absolutely crucial to learn in the beginning of your coding journey. There's so many commands that really help to edit your code more effectively and I found out from another source that is not SheCodes. Also, re-rendering is incredibly complicated and is a persistent problem from React. But currently I don't know enough information about this matter to make a proper statement of what SheCodes could have done better. The structure of lesson + video really does help and its appreciated, because theres so much to learn that you can get lost without it. Also, you can access and re-watch everything you've learnt, which is super helpful. SheCodes team is very efficient and they really do help, also Matt! I do believe that SheCodes is really amazing. Honestly, I love the concept and if it's possible I would love to explain to the team exactly what could be done better. To conclude, I genuinely appreciate the Delac Foundation in general. If anyone pays the price to be in this course, they deserve to have a consistent-problem solving-course.
It was not so easy, but I was really excited to try making a project with real-life data, I learned a lot of new features and information about JavaScript. now I'm ready for the next step to get more beautiful results for my future projects π©πΌβπ»
I am new to IT and was a little scared since I didn't know anything about it, but I am happy I did it. Matt explains everything so easily, and because of this, I want to keep learning more about coding

The SheCodes Basic AddOn has been a very interesting workshop where I got to learn the beautiful and creative powers of CSS. It has added a sense of creativity in me in that it kept me experiment more with the various advanced features of CSS. A great thanks for Matt for such an awesome teaching material and made it enjoyable to learn.

Loved all the video classes, super easy to understand. And the methodology is very nice, because you not only learn the theory but also are exercises for almost all of the classes. A really good way of learning.
I have thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes basics and actually found learning HTML, CSS & JS a lot easier than I thought it would be! Matt does a great job of breaking things down and explaining things in layman's terms. There's still a long way to go but I'm very excited to get onto the next step in this journey :)

Learning how to code has been something I've been putting off for years. And although I know a very minimal scope of some of these languages, it was a TON of fun to get back into the groove of learning the basics! Excited to learn more and grow my skill sets!
SheCodes provides students with plenty of exercises to help them learn the subject. The videos are simple and to the point and quite enjoyable. I prefer tutorials that are fast-paced and informative, so I liked the videos a lot.

I strongly recommend the 'SheCodes Plus' course to anyone who wants to get down to business and start creating simple applications. On the one hand, the course is super fun, but on the other - it gives all nesessary skills and allows learners to rise up to the challenge.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop is an easy, fun and fast way to learn code. Specifically, how to create the HTML skeleton of a webpage β οΈ design and prettify sites with CSS π and interact with webpage visitors using JavaScript π. Through practical lessons of Shecodes Plus, my coding skill is improved obviously. I have learnt a lot and it is great to have a Slack student group where I can make questions, have assistant from Shecodes technical support team and learn from other enthusiastic learners. I am happy that I found this course!
The program was clear and easy to follow through and practice on my own. Having a deadline for each homework and project was a huge help to keep track my work and motivates me to finish the program. I've learned so much in just 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics and can't wait to move on a more advanced program.
Completing this project was very challenging, there was a lot of work and even tears :) but I am proud of what I was able to create! I am very grateful and can't wait to continue learning more. I recommend SheCodes for all the girls, who want to code!

This was a lot of fun and a huge step up from Basic. If you're just getting into frontend and need to learn JavaScript, this was an excellent experience. You start building your application from the very beginning, step by step, while learning something new each week! Because of Plus, I was able to ace a technical test and get a job offer (which I'm obviously taking).
I am so excited! Months back, I enrolled in the SheCodes workshop as a complete novice. Today, I can confidently call myself 'a woman in tech'; I built a Weather App y'all. Lol! Learnt about Axios, APIs, GitHub and quite a lot more while building the Weather App on Vanilla JavaScript. I am grateful for the experiences so far. This is the best online learning platform I have come across. Each time I got confused, someone was there to clarify stuffs. I got help whenever there was a challenge......The SheCodes Team was literally AMAZING; like, 'they got your back any day kinda team'. Lol! I'll recommend SheCodes any day, anytime!

The SheCodes Basic workshop was an incredible beginners guide to coding. Matt made it easy to understand, the content was concise, and the homework was perfectly challenging. There was a great amount of support on the Slack channel which made it easy to find assistance when running into any kind of problem or question. Its been a long time since ive taken a course that does not involve power point presentation s or watching the instructor read to me. Matt got right into it with "let me show you" followed by "now you do it"...there are also no quizzes but actual mini projects demonstrating you know how to do what he just showed, followed by a final project. This was sort of a refresher for me (i took a coding class over a decade ago) and thank you THANK YOU. I am not sure if I will pursue this (not for me) but what this course did was expand my realm of possibility and give me more confidence to tackle on other online courses. THANK you for making learning exciting again :) I have told several people to just take this course to see and experience what great teaching is just so they can be inspired to take more classes. Great job. Outstanding really.
The workshops were great - easy to follow, and gave plenty of opportunity to test out each of the elements and functions yourself. Great way to challenge yourself and learn something new!

Loved SheCodes Responsive! I have to admit I was struggling with Plus a bit especially after having a 6-month break in between workshops, as I felt rusty at coding. That's why I was adamant taking Responsive right after finishing Plus, and enjoyed much much more and I can genuinely say that was worth every penny. Now I'm onto the next one, and hopefully I'll be able to do some adds-on projects too! Just love the atmosphere here (even it's digital lol) and how learning to code is made so effortless by Matt! Keep up the good work π
