The SheCodes Basic program was an amazing dive into the world of coding! The video lessons were positive and encouraging, making it easy to get excited for each step of the process. This was tough for me personally to get through but I made it! It was easy to learn and I feel confident in my skills.
Once I completed the SheCodes Basics workshop, I knew I wanted to keep this journey going and enroll in the next one. Week after week in SheCodes Plus I felt my confidence building and the more I went through the challenges the more everything began clicking for me. As a total beginner, I had a wonderful experience learning how to code for the first time! A very informative workshop with specific hands-on skills provided by an excellent instructor. Just loved it!
So glad I took the Plus workshop. Learning about APIs and how to use pure Javascript to make a search engine were really valuable skills. I feel like I understood about 90% of the material and needed to re-watch a few of the videos a few times to really understand, but they were still easy to follow and I learned much more by the final lesson that I knew while I was struggling in the middle.
I did itππ The learning process did not always went smoothly, but the great platform you guys offer and created for learning made the whole experience simpler and pleasant. The lessons are well organized, the videos are clear and the small and large challenges contributed for a deeper understanding. The feedback that i got along the way on homework and knowing that there was always someone in the background who was there if I ever needed any help made the whole experience of studying super pleasantπthanks!

SheCodes is awesome! You learn so much! Yes, this step has been really hard. Responsive design is not easy but it is doable. It was fun doing my own project and to use everything I have learned the last weeks. As a frontend designer you need to know this stuff so just digg in. π

I actually thought coding was a big deal. But SheCodes made it easier and interesting to learn.
I have no coding background but I got interested in coding and wanted to see if I will like it. I tried 3 weeks course and I really liked it. I think I will keep going and learning and see if I will be able to switch from my current job and become a Front-End developer.

It was a very useful course. Highly recommend it. Definitely gave me the right information and the strong base from which to continue with my coding adventure. I would like to learn to code to apply it to my design creative process and eventually become good at web designing. For me the tricky part was the java script one. It is very complicated at the beginning and it is still, but I hope to get better.
Amazing as always! I took 4 courses from SheCodes and I'm very impressed by the detailed explanations Matt provides for every topic. It's absolutely incredible to be able to build React applications after a few weeks of learning.

This course was very useful and very easy to follow along. The community on Slack was very helpful when I had any questions along the way, being able to clarify any confusion I had. It was helpful after each lesson being able to breakdown what you learned and apply it with the given examples. I'm eager to be able to learn more.

SheCodes Plus definitely stretched me but I also enjoyed learning. It was easy to go back to the lessons if you get stuck. I loved the progression of the lessons. I will recommend SheCodes again and again.

This add-on course was great fun and I really enjoyed learning creative options with regards to transforming images etc, changing themes.

Learning something new is always exciting. The biggest advantage of SheCodes is their support. In case if a student struggles with something SheCodes team will take a look into the code and will advise how it could be solved.

I have decided to challenge myself and give it a try on the Introduction to Coding course. I've really enjoyed it! It was very challenging but, I kept trying, seeing the results and the amount of things I have learned just in 3 weeks , it's rewarding!

I had really fun time coding and learning from Matt made it much easier and to the point! Hope I can make some magic someday with coding :) designing and creating and designing a website has always been my favorite job and I enjoy it a lot.

I've been thinking about signing up for the last 2 years. Thankfully, this time I didn't think too much and went ahead. I was afraid of investing in the course and then not being able to do it due to technical difficulties, or not being able to follow the communication in English... But none of that was a problem! There was no problem at all! π HTML was super easy to understand, then I got excited for hours using CSS and finally came JAVA, more challenging, with the "querySelector" that I'm still trying to understand (kidding π). In addition to all the learning, I also learned that I have emojis on my virtual keyboard and that SheCodes is actually a big community that is always connected by Slack where it's really cool to follow the conversations on the channels.

I can't rate this workshop enough. It allowed me to develop my knowledge with no recent experience. The step by step lessons were great and I was able to put the skills to practice. This genius concept has not only allowed me to learn about coding but it has overall boosted my confidence and given me the opportunity to put myself forward for future roles. I am so happy I went through with this workshop. I highly recommend it!

I struggled a little bit with timing because of my job. I did my best to make it work and learn as much as I could. This gave me a great start to understand how I can begin to build my own websites!

SheCodes Basics was a great workshop for beginners like me. The short-form videos and step-by-step instructions are digestible and easy to understand. Usually, I struggle with concentrating so this visual format was ideal for my style of learning. Each week's workshops are very clearly organized, which made finding solutions to my problems easy to figure out on my own. And the challenges and homework are very comprehensive. I hope to enroll in more advanced workshops in the future.
The most challenging assignment so far, but so rewarding! I have learned SO MUCH!!

I really liked all the little learning snippets and challenges. Perfect balance between listening and watching and trying yourself. I really learned a lot and have become more experimental as the course progressed to try new things and make things work. As final project I created a page on "New Work", a topic that I find really interesting and that I try to implement in my direct work environment to transform the company culture.
I really loved this course and I learnt a lot about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I'm looking forward to learning even more!
