Had surprisingly great time while learning something that seemed to be complete rocket science. The best feeling was to create something from scratch and make it work.
I stumbled across this on my Instagram feed and was interested so joined. I just finished SheCodes Basics and it has been a fantastic experience! I've learned so much from Matt! I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning code.
SheCodes is the first web development course I decided to take because I always wanted to learn how to build my own website. I really loved how the course was structured and how it motivated me to submit a homework every week and how it connected me with so many women, like me, learning how to code. Moreover, I loved Matt's way of explaining the course materials and I appreciated how he took his time to dissect difficult concepts. I truly enjoyed taking this course and I would definitely recommend it to every women wanting to learn more about web development and computer languages in general. We do need more women in STEM and SheCodes is helping us just do that :)
Very interesting workshop. I learned a lot by building my Weather App! Great introduction to API, GitHub and hosting.
I enjoyed learning React. For some reason it reminds me of calculus but it was extremely helpful learning and doing ... i enjoyed that the most in building the weather and dictionary apps.
Amazing experience on learning front-end development. It was challenging but very much fun. I look forward to learning Responsive!

The lessons were brief and basic as stated making it easier to understand every concept from scratch to finish even if you have no knowledge of coding. I recommend this course to anyone out there with no coding knowledge but is willing to learn and understand the basics of coding.

I highly recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who is interested in learning how to code! This course is very interactive, which creates an enjoyable experience and makes it easier to remember what you have learnt. I found it really rewarding to be able to use everything I had learnt, to create a final project on a topic of my choice!

Coding is expained in a simple way, homeworks are fun and interesting, everyone can learn at their own pace and revise the content over and over again if necessary. The whole course has been very helpful.
Very fun and interactive. With this workshop you don't learn by listening or watching, you learn by DOING which is always the most effective. I have absolutely no background in any sort of computer knowledge and this course was extremely easy to understand and very entertaining. The way that Matt explains the concepts and rules is really easy to follow. This course honestly felt like I was playing a game the whole time. Would recommend to anyone.

Learning React was a lot of fun! Slowly but surely the course takes you through the set up, structure and functions, and all of a sudden you have created two applications. I highly recommend the course to anyone who would like to get a React certification!

I struggled to learn React on my own at first. But after attending the SheCodes React course I was able to get a good understanding of how React works and also build apps with React.

This has been such a great experience. I knew nothing about coding when I first started and Matt was so great at simplifying and explaining everything. After taking the beginner level 3 week program, I learned a lot about CSS, HTML, and Javascript. My page turned out nice and I was able to complete it easily!

I enjoyed the course. The videos were not too long, and covered just enough of each topic. The challenges and homework assignments were a good way to practise what I'd just learned. I appreciated the structure and the deadlines as they made me keep up the momentum. And, I enjoyed the final project.

I realy enjoyd what i've learned in this workshop. I've been taking computer science classes in university for 2 years, but somehow we never did HTML, CSS. I found that a little frustrating beacause everybody else seemed to know that. Anyway this workshop was great, taught me something that i did not know, and other that i did know. I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all. Matt's videos are so impressively thought through in that he helps you build code one piece at a time and make connections between functions in the same way the mind tries to see patterns. I love learning new things and got a little scared when I decided it was time (and important) to learn how to code.
