It was very pleasant to study at SheCodes. Matt is a real professional. He makes it easy and accessible to learn coding. I strongly recommend this course to everybody!

Absolutely enjoyed the pacing and everything I've learned so far! While I did have some previous knowledge of html and css, I felt like the courses organised the scattered information I had in my brain while offering a great first introduction to Javascript and good practices in general. I managed to breeze through both weeks in 3 days and created my project on the 4th day! Looking forward to learn more!

I really enjoyed this course, it gave me the charge and desire to learn. I hope to have free time soon to take more courses.

Oh this was a tough one. I overall really enjoyed the lectures and doing the challenges after every lecture. After completing the challenges touching the project was still tough but so enjoyable and learnt a lot again while making mistakes, finding the mistakes and then correcting them. It was a good one !👍🏻👍🏻😁

It would not be an understatement to say that I feel this course has changed the trajectory of my life! After years struggling desperately to find a career path that I genuinely love and find fulfilling, I feel that I have finally achieved my goal. The course is brilliantly done - really well explained and I think having challenges that enable you to see what you've learned in action (and for me, invoke the newfound joy of watching my code come to life). The flexibility was also a massive bonus and reduced any pressure around the work.

It was my second course after SheCodes Basic. Generally, I like it. Matt's video are rather simple and clear. If you have problems with homework (students have them always 😅) you can always to get help from tech.assistants in Slack. Thanks to all SheCodes team! I like coding more and more, course by course 😀. I will continue to learn how to code definitely. It's fascinating 😋

I've wanted to learn about coding for a long time now and I'm grateful to have had this opportunity to learn the basics with SheCodes. The video lessons are easily digestible and I was surprised at how fast I was about to create a webpage from scratch. I hope to continue to learn more about coding in the future and build my own websites to promote my own and my family's businesses.

I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed my classes with Matt!! He made learning the basics very fun and logical! Even though some parts were challenging, having help on Slack from everyone really made all the difference. I would like to pursue SheCodes Plus next.

I had a blast learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout the Basics course. Matt did an excellent job explaining things, showing alternative ways to do something, and reminding us that it is okay if things get challenging. I really enjoyed using the developer tools to check my work, as this was something I wasn't even aware of. I also liked the exercise where we had to figure out how many people were on the SheCodes website. Everything was very user friendly and accessible. Thank you and I am excited to take more courses!

Great experience and thankful for everything I have learned

I really enjoyed learning from Matt. He made the concepts easy and fun to learn. I love all the emojis everywhere too haha! 😂 Each lesson was a good length, and the challenges were rewarding to figure out and complete. Every time I sat down to go through some lessons and challenges, I just kept going and going, getting through more than I thought I could in one sitting. I liked listening to SheCodes Radio while coding too. I think my brain really loved learning to code; I got to be creative and logical at the same time! I am a working full time and a mom of a 1 year old girl, but learning this basic course was so fun that I am always looking forward to do my homeworks and the activities. I didn't imagine that coding is fun and exciting.

Great teaching structure with videos, online support, examples and many resources. I'm enjoying the course and coding so far, excited to keep learning and go deeper.

It was a very comprehensive introductory course for beginners. Those who learn a little on their own can put what they have learnt into practice more accurately, and can easily learn what they could not understand on their own before.

This one is for the moms out there who are stay at home moms or currently do not have a job and are currently looking. I highly recommend SheCodes. Never stop learning. Always make time for YOURSELF. Coding is something your child will NEED help with during their school year and what better aid than their mother to teach them and guide them! I have been laid off for almost two years, never stopped working since I was 14 till now and I felt like I needed to do something. I wanted to challenge myself and I did. I find coding very interesting! I mean I created a webpage that is responsive in both computer and in a mobile device! Having a toddler and finding out I was pregnant along the way during this SheCodes journey was truly a struggle for me but I told myself I was not going to give up. There are no excuses especially when SheCodes has extensions you can use if something comes up and need more time to complete your projects! They even give you a career handbook with all the resources you need to prepare yourself for your new career!

I am greatful to SheCodes team and Matt Delac! I recommend SheCodes to anyone that wants to learn CSS, HTML & Javascript and start their journey as a frontend developer.

I like this course very much! Yes, -it was difficult for me; - some things i saw for the first time in my life; - sometimes one task took all day long BUT it all worth it. It is never late to study, i have two high educations already but i always wanted to start learning how to code. Unfortunately, the war in my country brought me to you, I would like to find you under other circumstances. Thank you for this opportunity to study!

I am a person who has 0 experience in coding. I took a class in SQL/Python and spent months confused and embarrassed. I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram and was very intimidated, but determined to gain more skills. The resources are easily accessible and short enough to re-watch as many times as I needed to. I learned new things in every video, and even in the first free meeting. The community on Slack is attentive, responsive, and encouraging. I feel like the team here really wants everyone to grow. Each time I asked for help, I felt like the suggestions were kind and genuine. I never felt belittled. I seriously appreciate SheCodes and will take the rest of the courses. I am already recommending this to the women around me. Best money I have spent in a very long time.

She Codes React was a great course. I learned a lot doing the exercises and working on two projects. This course provides lots of practical info and valuable practice.

What an AWESOME program! I'm usually an in-person learner but the SheCodes format makes learning and (most importantly) *practicing* these new concepts so easy. The short video format let me squeeze in as much practice as I wanted any time of the day. The structured challenges helped me memorize each new bit of coding before I was given the opportunity to create something original and fun with it. I had a blast creating my final project (I had been scoping out everyone's web pages and brainstorming from day 1), and I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I loved taking this course! I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes. The instructor, Matt, made learning the material fun. I really appreciated how each challenge continues to re-expose you to the previous skills and build on them. Learning each concept in chunks and getting practice with the challenges really helped me retain the information.

Great course. The classes are short, concise and so to the point that you never feel lost. You can immediately apply what you learn and feel accomplished at the end. As someone who took a C++ course in college, I never thought I would enjoy programming. I guess it has a lot to do with who is teaching. I highly recommend it.

At first, coding seemed very intimidating! But after the Basic SheCodes Workshop, I feel relaxed about continuing to learn coding. I enjoy the step-by-step videos and how the curriculum is set up weekly.

I started learning how to code in January and stopped in March as I felt overwhelmed then this time, I gave it another go and I'm understanding it better.

Definitely in love with the course and an opportunity to learn coding. This JS course was challenging and hard but worth all the efforts. You are learning to build an app step by step and also at the end you can see how Matt created the project from scratch and it really helps to see your mistakes and to improve your code. I really enjoyed it and the final result after all these weeks is awesome! Still can't believe that I created an app) Thank you!

SheCodes Basic has opened so many ideas for me! I'm literally a beginner in this. I'd never thought I'll be so interested in a career path that's to do with coding! It's not in my family background to become apart of the coding world and that's what pushes me more. Getting the oppurtunity to learn something new and enjoy doing it. I had fun and learned a lot but this course seemed slower than the first two. I think with these concepts, I needed more visual lists as to the function of each modifier and less of watching someone code. I needed more structure.

I've been self-teaching front end development for the past 2 years, and realised the need for a really good program that would take me from "knowing nothing" to actually understanding what I was learning and build my skills. After searching for a good, structured, international and flexible coding program that made learning engaging and fun with a good support system for almost just as long, I happened to come across SheCodes. I love that it's for women, and the Customer Success team was very helpful in answering all my questions before I decided to signup. Matt is great with giving bite-sized lessons without the information being overwhelming, and the Technical Team has been really helpful whenever I get stuck with the challenges. I'm looking forward to completing the other workshops!
