This was an amazing experience and I feel I have learnt a lot only doing the SheCodes Basic! I started from scratch as I am trying to switch careers (I am a Registered Nurse atm) and even though it was challenging, the workshop kept me engaged through the whole time! SheCodes Plus was a really great follow up to SheCodes Basic. I had a lot of fun building my weather app, and while it was not easy, it was VERY doable with Mattβs instruction. And it definitely made me even more excited about whatβs to come! Iβm now halfway through my SheCodes courses, and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to learn to code.

Great lessons that make learning how to code easy and fun.
I learned so much in the SheCodes React workshop! The assignments were scaffolded well and provided me with the knowledge to build both the weather and dictionary final projects. Even though I ran into challenges along the way, the Slack support and community was a great resource and helped me to persevere til the end. I wish there were more workshops! The layout of the workshop makes coding doable and is not overwhelming, Matt's lessons are easy to follow, and I am motivated to keep learning!
I am so glad that I signed up to one of the SheCodes courses! Coming from an education background, I had no idea what to expect. It was challenging, but the lessons were engaging and exciting. I had the best time learning to code, so I highly recommend signing up.

I've always wanted to do SheCodes since I was younger. Now that I am older I've been blessed in so many different ways this year where I was finally able to start learning skills I needed in order to live out my goals one step at a time. She codes so far have been a journey for me but I know no one will regret it!

I finally got comfortable with Javascript. Matt teaches it in a way that someone who has to relearn things a few times can understand the concept.
This course is a major upgrade from SheCodes Basics with lots of new content, and it was really challenging for me! Still, with the step-by-step instructions from Matt, the great support from the technical team on Slack, and some personal research, I was able to follow through the process and create my first app. I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone who's been working on the course, and I'm so glad to have had this opportunity to experience and learn.
This was an excellent course to learn how to make your websites responsive on all devices. It also gave a great glimpse into using figma, SEO, flexbox, variables, and using multiple html pages. You also get to build your very own online portfolio to showcase your coding projects to potential employers. Great info and putting our skills in practical practice.
It was fun yet very challenging making a weather forecast project. During this course I've learnt a lot about API, Github and functions in JS. Thanks a lot. It's a pleasure to study here.

Great course! In just 3 weeks, you can learn the basics of front-end development. It is very convenient that you can take classes at any time convenient for you. This is a good workshop to continue learning HTML, CSS and JS. The explanations are clear, I performed the tasks with pleasure and interest. My application works using the API from the OpenWeatherMap resource. I'm almost not interested in design (that's why I have it very simple), I prefer everything related to coding. I will continue my studies!

SheCodes makes everything clear and easy to learn. They throw in some challenges that require critical thinking and sometimes checking with classmates on the SlackChat groups but overall, if you listen and take notes during the lectures, the assignments are very straight forward. I also love that once you submit your work you are given an explanation for the solution and a chance to fix your code and resubmit!

If you have an interest in learning how to code, the SheCodes Basics workshop is a great way to figure out if coding really is for you. Each video and challenge is well explained, and the SheCodes community on Slacks is a good backup for when you're stuck. Matt challenges you by giving you factors on a web page where you need to figure out the code yourself, while teaching you how to google your issues and communicating them through Slacks. All in all, the work shop is the perfect course where you won't commit to a big and more expensive package, but still getting to know the basics and explore your interest more.

It's easy to follow and Matt provides challenging exercises every week. You learn the very basics with this course in an easy and intuitive way. You also have the chat in Slack which I found very helpful when I'm unsure about something in my code.
