Another weeks spent learning how to code with SheCodes were a pure pleasure. I really appreciate the fact that I can gain a valuable knowledge through well-explained lessons and follow the course in my own rhythm. The flexibility and quality of the materials give me power to grow and develop my skills through practice and self-study.
I always wanted to learn how to code so I'm thankful for this online Bootcamp. I recently finished my first 3 weeks of SheCodes Basics and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope to learn much more in the following weeks.
I've always wanted to enhance my technical skills for years but as a busy working mom of 2 tots, finding a schedule that fit mine and budgeting a costly expense of a coding course was the hurdle. But with SheCodes, I was able to enrol on their affordable Basic Course geared for absolute beginners like myself and I completed it on my own free time! The lesson plans guided by Matt are fantastic and are easy-to-learn. Plus, the resources, tech support and homework extensions are great add-ons that help keep you on track when life throws you a curve ball and you need a little bit of extra time to catch up. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who want to explore coding for the first time (whether it's related to work or just for fun), or to those who want to elevate their current knowledge of it. Either or, it's so worth it!

I as a former teacher of English, and a person who had zero knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, can say that this course is really for anyone who wants to learn. It doesn't matter if you are into coding or not you just need to believe in yourself and give it a try. SheCodes worshops and courses are fantastic! Easy to understand and practical I think that's why I could learn fast. Great content and there's always support if you need or have questions.
After countless hours of researching coding workshops, I landed here. I couldn't have been happier! Segmented into smaller portions and with challenges after each lesson giving you hands on practice to retain what you've just learned. I love this platform and ill be back for the pro!
This was my favourite SheCodes project so far. I learned so much about media queries and bootstrap. It was also a great opportunity to learn how to create more advanced features on my own like animations.

I really enjoyed the course! The structure of the course is very well done, lessons are short but they include everything that you need to know to do your homework. And even if you don't know something or can't figure out where you made a mistake your can always check for the answer in the chat or write your problem there - you always have the feedback and this is really great! Really great pacing for absolute beginner, useful but quick exercises and fun project! Cheatsheets also brilliant! Would definitely recommend. Makes the learning process feel smooth and fun!
A very informative and practical workshop. It has it's challenges, but there is always help available on Slack, either from the SheCodes Team or from your fellow students. I think it's great that the final project gets you to create a fully functioning app, as this gives you a greater understanding of how the code actually works and how to apply it effectively. I would also highly recommend Matt Delac as a tutor. Matt has an easy to follow and clear style of delivery, which makes learning much more fun.
I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who has ever thought about learning front-end development. It really gives an understanding of how much you like this area and how easy it is for you to figure everything out.
I think itβs a great way to start learning coding.
The class was fun and interesting. It is challenging but doable. I didn't think I could do it, and I still have a lot to learn, but I believe I can achieve my goals through these classes. It reminds me of a puzzle. Sometimes you want to shove a piece in, but later you understand why that piece didn't fit, and why another piece did.

I joined SheCodes to help me find another career to coincide with my fitness business. The instruction is great and easy to understand. I started with no experience and now I can create and design a Web page. I am excited to learn more and I am thankful to have found SheCodes.
This was a great little workshop, but it was almost too short π . While the lessons were nice and clear, as always, I would have loved to learn more advanced CSS tricks, and maybe a bit more about search engine optimization. Overall, it was very good!
Really enjoyed the recap on HTML and CSS, and learning more about Bootstrap, CSS variables, utility classes, how to make a page responsive and then practicing, practicing and practicing some more!

I really liked the teaching style and how I was able to built a page from scrach in 3weeks. Everything was very well explained and using what we learned every class doing small challenges made the learning process a lot easier.

Applying to SheCodes Basics among so many other courses was an amazing decision. I have tried to learn coding before but I was struggling to apply what I learned in lessons to real life projects. I very much enjoyed learning about the different techniques to build a mulitpage responsive website. The course is well structured building your skills step by step.
I never thought about learning to code until I found SheCodes. It was super fun and easy to keep up with even with a hectic work schedule. Even if it's just basic knowledge once you're able to build a page from scratch you'd want to keep learning and keep adding more to your own ideal page.

This workshop builds upon what you learn in the beginner coding workshop. The setup and execution of the lessons are similar, though I did find some of this a bit more challenging. None the less, I really enjoyed lessons 6-8. I like the hands on aspect of listening and doing at the same time, as it helps to better understand why we would code a certain way or how things connect together.
SheCodes was a wonderful journey. It is a well designed program that really helps complete beginners learn coding. I am much more confident that I will be able to grasp more and more complex coding concepts. Now I can't stop coding anymore: once I got the gist I realized it was a lot of fun! Thank you so much to the whole SheCodes team.
I went into SheCodes with absolutely zero knowledge in Html, CSS, or JavaScript. I definitely found this course to be challenging. While I found the material foreign, I also found it interesting and fun to learn. Don't give up on yourself if you find it too difficult. The internet is a vast place for gathering information, and the Slack group helped immensely.
This class was a great introduction to coding. I enjoyed the lessons and believe this has helped set a foundation for learning more.

I had some background in html and css from college, but it's been a few years since I've practiced. I've recently been thinking about getting back into coding and I thought the basics workshop would be a great refresher course. I ended up learning several new things in addition to reviving the knowledge I already had. I can't wait to continue learning through the next three courses.

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos and challenges allowed me to learn at my own pace and to repeat the classes whenever any questions arose. The community on Slack was also instrumental in clearing up questions whenever a Google search didn't help. The experience was so positive that I plan to do another workshop with SheCodes.
Im so happy learn coding with SheCodes, and now i can say that I have best teacher ever ^_^ Matt Delac explain all stuff very clearly so, for me its easy and understanding! Wow, learning React has been quite a journey! It was a bit difficult at the beginning to get into the mindset of "components", "states" and "loops", but once I started, I realized that I quite enjoyed being able to build this stuff! I've been able to build a weather app and a dictionary and use APIs for this, and I could never imagine doing this until some months ago. Really positively impressed and I can only recommend this course to everyone!
It's amazing! Only in 3 week I had to learn so much interesting about coding! For this stage all is clear and simple and it's not a rocket science! I strongly recommend this course for everyone who just want to be clear with the base things in coding you'll definitely feel more confident!

I have been working as a Global IT support for 8 years, and taking this course made me realize that I still have many things to learn, things that I thought I already knew. I started learning coding through a game that teaches programming languages, and I loved the puzzle-solving aspect, which inspired me to delve deeper into coding. SheCodes has been the perfect platform for that journey! I enjoyed exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript during the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I'm eager to continue learning in the next workshop. Coding allows me to be creative and feel challenged, which I find incredibly rewarding. SheCodes has been an ideal learning experience, and Matt is an amazing teacher! For my project, I chose to create a page advocating for expanded shore access in Massachusetts, driven by frustrations over recent changes to local beach parking policies.

SheCodes has given me a great introduction to coding and I have fallen in love with it! As an individual that comes from a prominently healthcare background and working through the pandemic I realised I was no longer finding fulfilment in my work and decided to look into a career change. This introduction course was perfect and made learning so easy and enjoyable. After discovering the world of coding I realised the endless opportunities it has to offer. I am looking forward to see where this journey takes me. This is only the beginning!
The instructor explains things in a way that really helps you understand what is going on. For a moment you are freaking out like, oh that sounds confusing but then he tells you to hold on, and uses some sort of metaphor to help explain it. I learned some things that I didn't quite understand before.
I learned so much during this class! I loved being able to learn at my own pace while still having assignments to keep me accountable. I can't wait to keep learning more!
