If you are looking to learn to code then this workshop is the best to start with, Matt goes in detail of all basics and makes it very easy to understand and follow-through. The rest of the team are very helpful and get back to you within hours! :)

What a challenging and incredibly rewarding experience! I joined SheCodes and I was able to learn how to code and to build a basic website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript within 3 weeks. I love the fact that I could work through the lessons on my own time and the Slack support was super helpful!
I went into the SheCodes Workshop with minimal knowledge in HTML and CSS that I gained through my own trial and error. I was surprised at how much more there was to learn in this workshop, and how enjoyable it was - at times it was hard for me to stop working. I look forward to furthering my knowledge in coding with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React!
It was a very useful and detailed workshop. I really enjoyed doing all exercises. Matt explains everything very clearly and step by step. So it makes such a complicated field easy to learn. Big thanks to Matt and the whole team!
I really loved this workshop. If you've been thinking about coding and have maybe been scared to because it "seems too difficult" or "looks boring", I can tell that's not the case at all. SheCodes makes it so easy to learn a lot of information VERY quickly and it's also very fun to work on your own homework and project. I also loved exchanging with the online community via Slack. It was so fun to see what everyone else was doing, help them with their challenges, and to get help when you're stuck as well.
I really enjoyed this fast-paced 3 week course! Matt was super easy to understand and made concepts relatable in layman's terms. Although the homework for each week started out simple, it built up to challenging aspects which was great for learning. Would recommend this to anyone who needs accountability to learn.
I've really enjoyed a lot this course :). When I started I didn't have any knowledge how to code, now thanks "sheCodes" I feel much confident. I had a great time learning programming, and I will carry on learning :) !

Several times I've wanted to start to code. With SheCodes I finally did it. It was so interesting and fun to learn. I found a new passion and hopefully new perspectives for the future. I'll keep it up. So thankful and happy that I got this chance.
SheCodes React makes it very easy and interesting to learn React. I really enjoyed the format with short lessons, each directed to a specific topic. This makes it much easier to keep focus, instead of being bored in a long and dull lecture or being "bombarded" with several subjects at once. Now that I have a strong foundation in React, I feel prepared to kickstart my career in tech!
SheCodes was very easy to learn with and Matt gave me an excellent teaching experience. I really enjoyed every lesson and challenge, and I fell like these were 3 very productive weeks.
Having completed the SheCodes intro course I just had to sign up to SheCodes plus. Great course, I've learnt so much and really feel like I'm getting to grips with coding. Onto SheCodes react!
This course has been a great intro to coding - I've learnt a ton, and I feel more comfortable doing other tutorials or courses now that I have the basics of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React down. I'd absolutely recommend the course to anyone who's interested in coding.
My only regret is not having discovered SheCodes sooner! Coding has always been something I wanted to learn and I finally found the perfect bootcamp for it. Can't wait to continue my journey here!
Starting from zero, it's been a great experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking at least to learn a bit more about programming and how it works. For sure will try and keep up the skills I developed with this workshop!
I learned so much from Matt in the last 3 weeks. It was very hard work but definitely worth it. I went from knowing nothing about coding to being able to build my own website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm a university student so I was able to do the basic SheCodes course on the weekends next to my studies. I'm really proud of how far I've gotten in such a short amount of time. Happy Coding :)
I really enjoyed learning some coding. It's amazing how much you can actually learn about it in only three weeks. Also, it's so much fun, when everything starts to work on your page.
I loved the React course and have learnt a huge amount! It has definitely been a challenge but the way the course was structured meant that we were gradually taught new techniques in a manageable way and there was always plenty of support and help available if needed. SheCodes is an incredible platform. The videos contain concise and clear explanations, the challenges make us immediately practice what we have learned and the final project has an effect of satisfaction for having to use everything that was taught during the modules. I didn't know anything about coding and I ended up programming a page from scratch! I think is important to learn about this even if you don't want a career in tech, because now you can use programming skills in almost every job.
I had no previous coding experience and I found this workshop to be equally fun and challenging. I appreciated the structure of videos and challenges each week. I am excited to continue learning in the next workshop!

When I was youger I learned html, but without practice I forgot a lot of things. With these course I started to remember those things, but the real magic is how Matt easely explains the course, he gives tips and documentation that are very valuable.
I learned loads, I still cannot believe I have created a fully functional app all by myself!!! I was worried the online course would not be sufficient or lack support, but I am pleased to confirm this was not at all the case. The videos/tutorials are very clear and I am very thankful to Matt and the team (overall João) for all the assistance throughout the course!! Highly recommend it for anyone who desires to start coding.
I can't believe how much I've learned with SheCodesPlus. Not only that, I had a lot of fun doing it. The lessons are so helpful but the challenges really push you to apply the information from the lesson without just regurgitating what Matt said. Matt is so knowledgeable and encouraging and the SheCodes staff is just as awesome!
I have looooved this course! I have always wanted to learn to code and done so many courses but just didn't get it or wasn't engaged. This is super engaging, allowing you to code from the first lesson and with an amazing support system of the team and fellow students. Honestly so chuffed with what I've learnt. I loved it so much a crammed all 3 weeks work into 1!!
I have really enjoyed learning to code with Matt. All the videos are clear and concise, making it really easy to follow along and revisit each step. Being able to complete the course in my own time has been really helpful, especially as I'm working full time. I'm looking forward to using the skills I've learned in my job and beyond!

SheCodes Plus was challenging but it helped me to practice my HTML and CSS skills, learn advanced JS and familiarize myself with Git, GitHub and Netlify. I built my weather application with real-time data by using the OpenWeatherMap API.
SheCodes Plus was challenging but so rewarding. Thank you so much to Matt and the SheCodes team. It was invaluable to have a community where you could ask questions and have one on one assistance whenever tiny issues came up. It really enriched the learning experience.
I am a computer science student and I join the SheCodes community over the summer because I wanted to learn front-end programming. I lacked confidence even knowing back-end, but taking these workshops gave me so much confidence programming in front and back development. I would recommend these classes to anyone at any programming level you may be at. Awesome community, instructors, and content.
I loved this beginners course and will definitely be signing up to the more advanced course! I'm a visual learner so I loved the video tutorials and the documentation for each class was helpful too. Finishing the final project was very satisfying! I know there is a lot more to coding and I can't wait to get started :)
I just loved my first SheCodes workshop! ❤ It allowed me to begin a coding adventure in a way that fits my schedule and learning speed. I have always been passionate about tech, even pursuing a biomedical science degree. During the pandemic I realised that I am ready to change career and decided to give it a go at coding. Hello, everyone! I am Elizabeth Romo and I wanted to share my experience with completing the SheCodes Workshop, it has been a learning experience. I honestly did not know anything about coding, but I was ready to learn and dive into this new coding world. It truly has been amazing I have learned so much in just three weeks. I like to look at coding like architecture, which is what I majored in. It starts off with the foundation and then the floors, walls and all the materials and components that go into a building, just as similar in coding there is the body, the head and the three languages (CSS, HTML and JavaScript). The coding world is so similar and different, but unique in its own way. Seeing a page come together gives me a great satisfaction. Knowing that I made it and that I could accomplish anything. So, go out there and start your own coding experience. I truly recommend it to everyone.

The SheCodes 3 week workshop has given me the boost of confidence I needed to kickstart my future career in programming! It is a great place to start for true beginners. SheCodes provides a good basis of knowledge which has inspired me to push my learning further.
I had some periods of frustration, more than I had expected with this project. This program is not for beginners. I should have invested more time reviewing tutorials online for JavaScript and CSS. There are free ones on the MDN website that aren't instructor led like Matt's program. I would not recommend them to learn from start to finish, but they are a way to test what you know and find solutions to what you don't know. My recommendation to anyone taking the SheCodes Plus program is to make sure you are comfortable with Javascript before moving into this more advanced workshop. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus React, which I have already paid for but I need to work on my JavaScript skills a little further before venturing into the more advanced workshop. Although I am taking a little break, for now, I will still be studying and working on JavaScript so that in the next month or two I will be ready to take on the challenge of SheCodes Plus React.

SheCodes is a great platform to learn how to code! I started the workshop with zero background in coding, but the whole crew did a great job of making the lessons (and coding in general) fun and easy. It is impressive how structured and systematic the lessons were. There was a lot of room to challenge what was already taught, but at the same time, solve what was encountered the first time. I enjoyed every bit of my three-week workshop and I definitely recommend SheCodes to every woman who wants to learn something new and useful. 👩💻

After taking the Free Coding Class, I knew I had to enroll in the SheCodes Workshop right away. I never thought of coding as an option for me, but having the free class to see what it's all about was super helpful. I would have never dreamed I'd have so much fun learning these new skills! Matt's videos are excellent and the support you get through Slack is outstanding. I can't wait to enroll in SheCodes Plus React.
This course is amazing! I thought coding is just a skill that is good to know but after completing the course. I am now truly interested in coding and enjoyed creating the projects and the exercises during the course. A great way to learn about the basics of coding!
The SheCodes Plus course has no doubt been challenging, however building on the skills I learned in the SheCodes Workshop to make a functioning weather site is an incredible feeling. The team on Slack are very helpful, and SheCodes have been very accomodating to me as I started a job half way through the programme! Would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to stretch their brain, whilst being able to build a project from scratch.
SheCodes plus was a great experience! I loved putting my basic HTML skills to the test and improving on those skills. Working full time and then coming home to be a full time mom, SheCodes let me learn at my own pace. The videos are easy to follow and Matt explains everything in a way that writing, reading, and understanding code is almost second nature now. For anyone looking to expand on their currently knowledge or picking up so new mad skills, I would 1000% recommend SheCodes! I can't wait to start my next course!

I started the SheCodes course with only knowing a small amount about coding myself, the course provides you with short lessons followed up with mini challenges for each topic which is very convenient so you are still fresh in the brain about what you have learnt I found this very helpful and I enjoyed every moment of the three weeks I spent on the course. SheCodes Plus covers so much, yet never feels overwhelming. With Matt's instruction and all of the support from João and other coders, I have learned skills that I never knew I needed. This course has given me the tools to continue learning and growing as a new developer.
SheCodes is a good platform to start with if you are interested in learning coding basics, it's fun to work around with the codes and setup what you like. Lessons are break down into short videos with notes and solutions right after - this allows you to digest very easily and try it on your own right away! :) Happy coding!
I entered SheCodes with absolutely no experience in coding. Growing up, I always attempted to learn how to, but never seemed to be able to find a learning platform that worked for me. During quarantine, I was hoping to find a new skill to work on, and happened to stumble upon SheCodes! I absolutely loved the step-by-step instructions that Matt provided, in addition to the challenges which helped to reinforce each lesson. As someone who did not think I could ever get the hang of coding, I truly believe SheCodes is a wonderful platform to learn the essential concepts of coding and understand how to apply it in our day-to-day lives. Matt and SheCodes have created an amazing experience to help us as women learn how to code with detailed and easy to follow instruction. I feel inspiring and empowering to learn with the community. At the same time I feel encouraging to have instant support from the team whenever I face issues during the course. The weekly homework and each lesson challenge are extremely useful to understand the topic deeper and retain the knowledge longer. Highly recommend this course and Matt's way of teaching ~ 🙂
I never would have thought I would get to this stage "React!!!". I am glad I took this opportunity when lockdown began. I have learnt a lot and it has been a combination of fun and frustration.
