As coding is becoming as important a skill as MSword in today's world, this course broke the ice for me to get into the coding world! It was so much fun! In just a few weeks, you learn so much and Matt explains it so well that it doesn't even look hard! The class creates a hunger to learn and know more. Thanks, Matt and Team!
I've tried a few different "learn to code" courses and have found that they are either too vague or introducing too much at once but this course not only did a really great job of breaking down the material into bite-sized pieces but also managed to make it fun to learn. I felt like I could handle everything it was throwing at me and like I understood how to use the material following the exercises. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone seriously wanting to understand both the how and why behind the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS.
This workshop was a great introduction to learn and understand the basics to coding. It's a great foundation for those who are curious and eager to learn more about an industry that is booming and needs more gender representation. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to dip their toes into a new and exciting world that is truly rewarding!
It was truly one of the best learning journeys in my life and I absolutely enjoyed it while mastering very useful html, css, javascript and specially react skills. one of my favorite parts was the challenges. the challenges kinda forced me to practice every new technique right after Matt teaches us and you might underestimate it but it was very helpful for getting the handle of complex issues for me. so I definitely recommend it and I hope SheCodes Workshops expand for more sophisticated skills so I can learn more stuff with SheCodes.
I'm so impressed with how much I have learned in such a short amount of time. I was a little worried coming into the course being a complete beginner but I feel it was really easy to follow and I even enjoyed the problem-solving element if I had made any mistakes. I love that there are colour templates, gradients and cheatsheets available to make things a little more simple. I have signed up for SheCodes Pro and I'm so excited to see where it takes me.
As a beginer on that field I very enjoyed to learn and improve my coding skills every day! It is a great workshop!!!
SheCodes Plus was definitely challenging but really worth it. You learn so many skills and Matt has an excellent way of taking you step by step through and almost getting you to teach yourself. I really enjoyed it! Looking forward to React now!

It was a long time since I had coded but since joining SheCodes last year, I was sure I was going to pursue this to the end. The course material is well organized and clear making it easy to follow. The step by step challenges makes it easy to reassess your understanding. I have also learnt a lot talk of APIs, design and bootstrap. I love SheCodes! I Cannot wait to learn react. My front end developer journey has just began.

I saw an advertisement for SheCodes on YouTube and took the free one hour introduction class. I am in my early 40s, a stay at home mom and have no experience with coding, but decided to take the 3 week SheCodes Basic course. I learned a lot and feel that in the future I could continue to further the coding path into a career.
I had an EXCELLENT time working with SheCodes! I've always felt intrigued by coding, but incapable of learning it... after betting on myself and giving it a try, SheCodes reminded me that you can do anything if you set your mind to it!
It was a great course, I liked learning on my own and the assignments were easy to follow and refer back to later if I needed to look anything up.
What an amazing adventure! With all I have learned throughout my lifetime, learning to code has been the best. Finally finding that "thing" I can really do is so rewarding and I feel so accomplished already. This was such an easy approach and I am glad I chose this program. I can't wait to do more and really turn this into my career.

Now that I have finished all the 4 modules, I can say that this workshop is totally worth it. I started with ome experience in coding, but nothing related to react or more profesional tools, and I finished very proud of everything that I have learned and accomplished. All the resources are so helpful! Even the community on Slack! I really recommend this workshop for begginners and for people who wants to expand what they already know.
My SheCodes journey continues with SheCodes Responsive and it proved to be a bit tricky at first. Learning all the tricks and tips was a lot at first but once you physically do them a couple of times, you get the hang of it. Matt explains the concepts really well. He is a superb teacher. I'm really proud of how far I've come with the help of SheCodes. I don't think I could have done any of this without Matt and his superior team.
I am enjoying the course so far, I have learned so much in just a few weeks! I am looking forward to completing my SheCodes Pro course.
If you want to learn how to built a website that is responsive in any device, SheCodes Responsive is the workshop for you. Simple and effective, Matt's classes will help you built your website from scratch. Thank you one more time.
Good introduction to React, but felt sometimes a bit rushed. I would have preferred to have a few weeks more time to learn and train what was covered in the course. I still enjoyed learning React and would recommend it to anyone interested in coding, and will keep training at my pace in the future - React and other technologies. I believe SheCodes provides an excellent basis to later be able to keep learning more technologies by oneself. I recently looked at SCSS, Vue and some more technologies and understood some of them, which felt amazing as I did not even write a single line of HTML 6 months ago!
I have really enjoyed this course, Ive learnt a lot in a short time period, and Im excited to start the next course and learn even more!
SheCodes made learning to code fun and exciting. My favorite experience about the SheCodes lesson was the challenges after each class, which tested my knowledge of the lesson. I was able to reflect on my learning through every challenge and work on the areas that needed improvement.

I had so much fun practicing coding with SheCodes. The lessons are quite short (still I learned so much!) and therefore very well manageable at home with two young kids. I was not sure if coding was the way to go for me, (I definitely need to make a wise career choice at this point in my life.) but the Basic Course was a great and affordable way to get to try it for a good while. I AM HOOKED! And so proud of my first little page, that I made!

The first time I heard about SheCodes Workshop was from a friend of mine. She completed the course and shared how much she enjoyed it. After some time, I started thinking that it would be good to broaden my horizons and learn something entirely new from my field of expertise. I was skeptical of my coding abilities at first, but all for nothing. Matt is a great teacher! The way he explained the material was concise, digestible, and, most importantly - doable. The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. I'm really happy I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basic course! It was really fun to learn something new that I didn't mind working on after work. It's definitely something I will be adding to my resume and hopefully get to use in the future! It won't be long before I sign up for the other SheCodes courses that are offered now that I've gotten a taste for it.
This intro class was worth every penny! I learned so much useful information and feel empowered to continue creating my own web pages and am considering continuing my coding education. I now have an understanding of the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Help is always readily available whenever you need it.

I never really thought about coding or trying anything computer related. However, I came across this course and was intrigued. After completing this course I fell like there is so much more I can learn about coding and computers in general. This was a great introductory class which was very well structured and made it easy to learn.
I entered the Pro course to be able to learn JS, since I already know a lot of HTML and CSS and in this first module I was already able to learn a bit of JS and do some fun things with it and it also helped me in my professional job.
Learning React has been a great experience, very interesting, not without challenges, but definitely worth it. The final project was a great and fun way to practice all the tools learned. Now it's over, I wish the course had been a bit longer!
I highly recommend SheCodes for any individual who wishes to take charge of their own work and creativity. Learning coding has helped me better understand developers, and the challenges they might be facing. Apart from that, I have had a great time creating my own project which has been extremely fulfilling in a number of ways!

This was a great way to be introduced to Front-end coding. Easy to follow, with exercises that allow you to sink in the learnings.
Great course - some weeks were more challenging that others. But I felt like we covered at lot in this course and feel like I have learned lots of new skills
When I bought the course I was scared. Scared that I will find out that I don't get it. That's too difficult for me. That I will just waste money. I was wrong! turned out that I don't suck and I actually enjoy coding. At least at this stage, and that I want to learn more. I really liked classes with quick videos explaining and showing most important things. Although, almost at the end I realized that there are some extra info below the videosπ€¦ββοΈ. What works for me are challenges and weekly homework as well as the final project. I think it helps to learn better through the whole course step by step without being left with everything for the final project. I would definitely recommend the basic course to anyone. It's a great opportunity to test the water without investing big money into something we are not sure we want.
I can easily imagine that everything I just learnt could be taught in a super complicated way. But SheCodes team managed to make the lessons fun and easily understandable! Hopefully this course was one of many steps to my career change.
