This was a great workshop. It takes you by the hand and explains the basics very well, giving you the foundation to build upon your coding knowledge on your own. I have been wanting to learn coding for a while, but always felt I was missing a structured way of diving into these languages. I loved the structure of these lessons! Just wished there were more :)
SheCodes opened many doors to the informatique world to me. It gives you the necessary tools to understand and continue to learn by yourself afterwards. I'm happy I did it !
This was the first step I dare to take into learning how to code CSS, HTML and JavaScript. SheCodes gives you the right tools to start this career path with informative videos, challenges and homework you have to submit during your workshop. I absolutely loved SheCodes workshop. It can be very difficult to stay motivated with online education, but something about SheCodes makes it so easy! As a beginner into coding, I benefitted greatly from Matt's step-by-step teaching through his videos. The lessons are bite-sized so I was never overwhelmed by information in a single seating. The challenges after each lessons are a great help in refreshing my memories and a big help in putting the lessons into actual practice. The moderator(s) on Slack were also super efficient in answering all sorts of questions I encountered during my learning journey. I love how feedback were given after each homework submission so I know what I did wrong in the process.
I love this workshop! I had a lot of fun and even after I thought I would not get it the classes and the patient teachers let me the time to let it click into place in my head! Within 7 days I learned the fundamental basics of building a cool website and cannot await the next workshop SheCodesPlus!!!! I want to start it immediately and can recommend everyone this workshop!
I've always wanted to learn coding but have always thought that it might be out of my reach. SheCodes made this simple for me by providing a flexible course which was aimed at my level. I was not intimidated anymore and now I just want to learn more!
I would highly recommend these workshops to all! They are really clear and easy to understand the principles and basics of programming, because I want to start to learn UX / UI design, so was interested in the basics of coding :) And at the end of the workshops you already can create your own pages and be creative! And I have realized that it is actually for creative minds like me (as a musician and singer, hobby), so you really do not need to know math heh ;) (in music actually some math we have) . So, yes, everyone can do it, if you have that big interest! Thank you Matt and all your team! I really enjoyed this course!!
This workshop is really good, i highly recommend it! It is perfect for beginners who want to start their journey in this area. The classes are very good and the weekly challenges are a very good complement to what is learned. The best for me was the final project, since we are free to create something of our own with the skills we have gained. Matt is a really good teacher and the staff from SheCodes on Slack are really helpful and always available!

I really enjoyed my 3rd week project because i can create and decorate my own page which makes it fun! I have learned a lot in these past few weeks. During this quarantine I've decided to improve my skills and I joined the SheCodes workshop! It was an amazing learning journey, with a lot of new knowledge and challegings. I tried to learn coding a few years ago on my own and it ended with me in tears and feeling like a failure. I was totally turned off of coding from the experience. Now, I have completed SheCodes introductory course and it was very stress free! Everything was explained in a way where an absolute beginner like myself could understand it without any trouble. I did a SheCodes Workshop last year and loved it so much, I decided to apply to SheCodes Plus. I wanted to practice more, to know more about code and the logic behind it. It complements my work as a copywriter perfectly, it is challenging, but the instructors provide the space for dialogue and learning. Loved it and look forward to more code in my life.

This course has made learning how to code so fun and exciting. I've always been hesitant on taking coding bootcamps due to lack of time but I absolutely love how this is structured to be for people who are in school or in the workforce full time. I learned more in this three week workshop than a whole semester of Computer Science 101 in college! Everything about this course is great. SheCodes Workshop is an exceptional place to learn the basic coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I have been trying to learn by my own with free platforms before knowing SheCodes and basically I was only memorizing codes and not understanding how to combine html and css at the same time. With SheCodes Workshop you learn by doing since the very beginning and it is the way how we really absorbe knowledge. Matt Delac explains concepts on a simple and concise way. He also organized and made interactive exercises where you have to investigate yourself some codes. I will definitely upgrade for SheCodes Plus.

Taking the first course of SheCodes was the best decision I could've taken, especially in this quarantine, that has left many of us with a lot of time at our hands. I really loved the workshop! Matt is a great teacher and is so passionate about what he does! Although my background is in finance, I absolutely loved learning about coding. Coding to me sounded very complex at the beginning. But after completing the three week workshop, i can say that i understand coding much better now and that I have successfully coded my first webpage using HTML, CSS and Javascript! Uau! This workshop was such an adventure! I loved every part of it... There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "simple" line of code. I know what you are thinking... "SIMPLE?? Hummm Hummm...Have you forgotten about "addEventListener" or "function whatIsWrongWithMyCode"???" No I haven´t! And yes, I will have to admit that it was not that simple all the times... Therefore I shall rephrase it to "challenging yet adventurous!" There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "challenging yet adventurous" line of code (Indeed, much more accurate!) But in the end, I really enjoyed this workshop and I can´t wait to learn more about coding. I am pretty sure that I´ve made my team of Developers proud! Besides Matt being an excellent tutor, the workshop is designed for you to learn step by step, you can learn to your rhythm and manage your time during the week. Besides, you can rely on extra help from the community and by SheCodes. Each class is well structured and encourages you to go behind and search for extra things online, which is the main source of new things to put on the codes. Also, the material support (like videos, solutions, code, etc) are really god. I did not expect to learn some much in just three weeks. I really enjoy it! I started from zero, for a person who doesn't really enjoy online learning, I am happy that I took this workshop, had a great experience ...the whole process was super easy to follow, from the basics to the very end and when I did panic there was always someone willing to help ; I am very proud of what I have accomplish so far; when I looked at code before I was so scared because it looked like something from another planet 🙈 but now I feel pretty confident to keep learning and improve my knowledge. I will totally recommend it for total beginners.

This time last year I would not see myself to be able to create a web page from the scratch and today I'm publishing my very first coding piece of work 🤩 Thank to this pandemic for giving me more free-time to seriously focus on coding and with SheCodes, my self-taught coding journey has been so much easier. A big call out to Matt and João who have been so accommodating and patient to address all of my inquiries on Slack including "silly" ones 😂🙈🙏. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! I'm currently looking into switching to a career in tech so I've been using different platforms to learn how to code. SheCodes really helped me to understand what I've been learning already with all the challenges, and the project. Before I was just absorbing information, but after going through this program I feel a lot more confident about coding. I would suggest using another coding program at the same time as you're completing the SheCodes basic workshop since you don't dive too deep into HTML, CSS, and Javascript. But if you sign up for the other workshops you most likely won't have to do that. Overall I really enjoyed this workshop!
Hello, I was excited to take this class but due to personal circumstances, I could never take it. Then the pandemic hit, and I suddenly was allotted way more time to focus on a new skill to improve my resume and overall knowledge. Although it was hard to balance home life and this class, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. This class provides you the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript so that way you can expand on that learning in the future. Thanks Matt!
I've been interested in coding for almost my whole life, but was scared it would be far too complicated to ever learn. SheCodes has helped me realize that coding isn't all that hard after all! I'm really excited to continue learning more going forward!
I enjoyed this workshop to the fullest. Thank you Matt for creating this platform , i have always wanted to learn how to code , but i bought into the stereotype of it being too complicated or having to be great at math and so on. This workshop completely shattered those stereotypes and i'm glad i took a leap. I've learned so much in the last 3 weeks and have really enjoyed having to find some of the solutions on my own. It helped me understand the process better and the video lessons were super informative and easy to follow.
SheCodes is Amazing...Like really REALLY AMAZING. Its a sensational learning tool. After only two weeks, I was able to make this project with no help while working 84hr weeks during the CoVid19 pandemic. I can't stress enough that I was at level 0, in terms of technical knowledge, when I started this workshop. My confidence in my ability to learn computer languages has to have gone up by 100%.
For those starting to give the first steps around coding, SheCodes is a good introductory course that will help you to decide if you want to go further and invest more time. It's easy to follow, interactive and you always have someone available to help you in case you have questions. In my case, it definitely opened the appetite to learn more.

I absolutely loved this course! I came into it knowing a little HTML but still felt like I learned leaps and bounds more. The HTML and CSS were by far my favourite part. they were fun to watch and I loved the challenges. I wish javascript had focused less on alerts/prompts and much more on functionalities you see on websites you use now. I know what we learned can be applied to other functions but still feel not sure how I would apply them. That's really my gripe about the course. The project was really fun and wish there was more!

This workshop blew me away! The curriculum thoroughly introduces HTML, CSS, and JS. I especially enjoyed the structure and available resources. Each lesson includes a video and a challenge to practice the learned skills. The course also grants access to a messaging software that allows collaboration between students. I set out to learn code again after failing a few times throughout the years. The Shecodes program was appealing because of it's cost and guided training. The course lived up to my expectations and I was able to enjoy coding for the first time.

React is widely used nowadays and has a huge community of developers so it's great to learn it and find a lot of documentation and examples online. Learning React with SheCodes was great because the lessons and exercises make it a lot easier to learn, step by step, and Matt always teaches the last "trend" and what is being used right now. It was a lot of fun!
