i thought coding was never my cup of tea but i thought i would give it a try. Who knew it could be fun too. I know there's lot to learn and i thank shecodes making by beginning journey interesting and helpful.

It was really fun to learn the basics of coding with Matt Delac at SheCodes from the comfort of my home! The SheCodes basics workshop inspired me and gave me more confidence to pursue a career in tech. Thank you to Matt and the whole SheCodes Team for their support and the knowledge shared. π
As hard as it may look or be, just keep pushing yourself. SheCodes was very flexible with me when I got sick with Covid and I will forever be grateful. I ran into trouble but I managed to pull through and make it to the finish line. I learned so much in this workshop! Matt is a great teacher! I will forever be grateful with the help I received from Bruno, Joao, and Daniela! I cannot wait for the next workshop!
I loved how simple and engaging the course was structured! At first, I was intimidated by learning how to code, but being able to understand the logic behind and go through the challenges made me see how amazing coding is. It really hooked me!
I've learned more coding in this course than I thought possible! Getting the chance to finally add onto the basics that I learned when I was younger is really rewarding. I can't wait to continue learning!
Love how simple and user friendly the SheCodes website is. Also found the cheat sheets/resources to be extremely helpful - especially the gradients and palettes. I didn't rate SheCodes 5 stars because I feel that the lessons are taught too quickly. Perhaps it's my type of learning preference, however I believe more practice between lessons would be beneficial.
Another course that didn't let me down. I thought that I had learnt a lot before start the Responsive Workshop, but Matt Delac and SheCodes keep always surprising me, even more. So grateful for what I've learned! We keep going! 3/4!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, when I started I had absolutely no coding knowledge and now 3 weeks later I'm considering changing careers. The course layout made it fun and easy to learn. Can't wait to continue my journey.
The SheCodes React workshop was amazing! It has honestly been my favourite workshop out of all of them! The structure of this workshop made learning react very easy, interesting and enjoyable! There are many opportunities to practice and apply what you have learned. The support is great, and no question goes unanswered.
I really enjoyed SheCodes React: At the end of this course, I'm willing to learn more and do more! I was super happy to discover React after Vanilla Javascript :-) Also, the 2 projects are very interesting: different APIs, different problematics... And as always, SheCodes Team is always here to help, they never fail! this is super cool for an online course. Thank you!!
It was so easy for me to learn how to code, the videos were extremely helpful and I can't wait to enter a field with this information.
SheCodes has made it possible for me to learn essential front-end tools quickly and properly. With each new course the material levels up in difficulties but SheCodes still makes the information easily digestible.
With each week I can feel myself becoming more comfortable and confident with skills developing at a good pace. During the SheCodes+ I have found some parts challenging and in need of persistence, but that has just made the learning and understanding of the topic all the more rewarding. I would encourage everyone to participate, and stick to it until the end as you won't believe what you'll be able to do in such a short space of time :) Believe in the process and yourself!πͺ Happy coding! π©βπ»β¨
React can be overwhelming at first, but the SheCodes React course is well explained and easy to follow along. I've learned a lot, thank you to the SheCodes team β€οΈ
This was my third SheCodes workshop, and I loved it! The final project we were learning to build was so much fun and so useful. I come out of this journey, not only with knowledge on how to make a website responsive but also with a portfolio I can update and use to share my work!
One of the best basic coding classes I've attended. I've never been so far into a coding course and understood so much. The community is so supportive as well as whenever I'm stuck, first of all, there is no judgement, and second of all, the community would gladly assist me. It's an overall positive group which really makes a big difference in my learning. I'm glad I enrolled myself with SheCodes and am looking to further enhance my coding knowledge!
Doing all the workshops I like React workshop the most. It was very challenging. My journey with coding will not end just here with SheCodes React. I will do my best to keep learning. Because it is plenty to learn still. I am highly recommended to any woman to do them all from basic, plus, responsive, and react. Learning is key!!!.
Coding was never something I thought I needed to know, but SheCodes made it so simple and fun to learn! I'll definitely be looking for future opportunities to sharpen my skills.

I had had ZERO experience with coding before I had the opportunity to do the SheCodes workshop and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The way Matt explains it in the videos is really comprehendable for everyone. I myself am just a musician but was capable of learning something so much different and I love it. I'm really considering buying the next course! Although for a non-working student it might be a bit tough haha

SheCodes workshop leads me step by step through the learning process. The challenges after lessons initiate me to experiment, look for answers and go through the trial and error for the solution. It is brilliant.

I absolutely loved my experience with the SheCodes team. It is a great platform to learn to code and to familiarize yourself with all the tools required to make your coding complete and professional.
I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Basic Workshop. Learning a new skill I never in a million years thought I would do. I wanted to try something completely new from what I do for work on a daily basis since I have worked in the same field since I graduated college (10+years). The lectures are super easy to follow and I was able to troubleshoot most of my coding issues myself or by using the slack channel. I highly recommend anyone that is on the fence about this program to give it a try.

I've always been interested in learning how to code but the information seemed so expansive that I didn't know where to start. The way the curriculum is structured allows me the space to practice and make mistakes but also the ability to create something of my own. Very happy to have taken this class, can't wait to see what comes next!
I was hesitant at first cause coding is more like a man-relating thing and it seemed to be difficult to learn. But SheCodes courses are very easy to understand and practical. Especially I love how Matt approaches and instructs coding languages in less-than-10-minutes videos so that I do not feel bored or tired to give up. Many thanks to Matt and the team.

This was a good workshop! Learned a lot.
I personally feel quite strongly that it's important to learn new skills from people who are passionate about them. It is clear that Matt is very passionate about teaching these skills in a clear, uncluttered and approachable manner. Each concept is introduced in a bite size video that is easy to fit into a corner of your day without feeling overwhelmed. I've learned that while there are endless possibilities of things any person can accomplish in theory, the surest way to actually do a thing is to make it easy for yourself. This course has made coding easy and convenient for the beginner. The variety of resources made available through the SheCodes site such as color palettes, cheat sheets and CSS code generators also show the attention to detail put into the process. Then there is the other half of the matter: access to a community of like-minded women ready to help when you get stuck. This eliminates the feeling of isolation despite being 100% online. All in all the whole learning experience feels very thorough and well thought out. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team for all the care you have put into designing the SheCodes journey.
This is an amazing course! I started this course to learn how to code websites rather than relying on the drag & drop method and feel very confident to test my skills out immediately. Very excited to be moving on to the Plus workshop to continue to learn more! π
I was nervous because this was my first time learning how to code, but everything was explained clearly so I could follow along and play with each new element or property that was taught. I liked that I could learn at my own pace and start building my coding vocabulary. Coding isn't scary and can be very fun!
Coming into this workshop with no experience it was easy to be a bit nervous. However, I was determined to learn something Iβve always been interested in and Iβm glad I took the opportunity. The lectures were simple to follow and the concepts I learned are extremely valuable. Iβve already recommended SheCodes to friends I know are also interested to learn the basics of coding. Iβm already looking forward to taking the PRO workshop!
After taking a computer science class in college, I never thought that I would be interested in coding again and see my potential with it! Great to know that you learn how to code at any time. This program did help me to step outside of my comfort zone and helped me to slowly develop coding skills. Coding is really fun, it is very satisfying to construct a page and experience how ideas are materialized. The team has been most supportive, questions get answered promptly. Most importantly, the instruction videos are clear and easy to follow and I love that it allowed me to learn according to my pace.

I work in a completely unrelated field (healthcare), but felt like I wanted to pick up another skill/hobby when I happened to come across SheCodes. I'm so glad I did because I ended up really enjoying the Basics workshop π Matt's a great teacher and made the content really easy for an absolute beginner like myself (beginner as in, I didn't even know what HTML or CSS was before I started, much less how to design a landing page). Instead of 2 months, it took me three to complete this course but I'm proud of myself. After SheCodes Basic I felt good that I can build my own website but now, with SheCodes Plus I can build a website that has access to real data! It's amazing. It was one my life-time experiences that has paved my way in data science learning and I believe with coding skill I will be able to establish my ideal career in the future. Matt thought coding in a completely understandable way which although I have not had any background in this area, I did not have any difficulties through learning.

The SheCodes Basics workshop is a fantastic foundational program for those interested in learning how to code, or those like me, who may have previously self-taught. The step by step video teachings are easy to follow and understand, and the challenges, with provided solutions, add an extra step to become more comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The dedicated Slack channel provided support and encouragement from peers, and having my assignments reviewed by a member of the SheCodes team helped me to gain confidence in my coding skills with their feedback and guidance. I loved working through the workshops on my own time! The extensions have also been helpful when I needed more time. I also like how responsive and helpful everyone was on Slack. It's been a great learning process and I'm grateful to finally complete the SheCodes Basics!
Responsive is by far my favorite module to learn. I am now becoming more comfortable with my coding and this is a great tool learn early in my career. I can't wait to see wha React entails!

It's a great beginner-friendly workshop. Before this workshop, I knew absolutely nothing when it came to coding, all throughout high school I never took any computer classes because at the time it just didn't seem like an appealing career to me, but I wanted to learn something new and determine if this could become a new career possibility for me. It definitely has helped me decide as someone who is 20 and has literally no idea what career they want.

This 3 week workshop really was a great first step into understanding the direction I want to take. As someone who has always been curious I never felt I knew where to start when it came to learning a new skill like coding. Now I feel ready to challenge myself and grow!
I decided to do this workshop because I wanted to change up my life/career and do better for my daughter and myself. I knew I liked coding but I didn't realize how much I would love it by the end of these 3 weeks. I have learned so much and I am excited to do another workshop and learn so much more!!

I completed SheCodes React as part of the SheCodes Pro package. I do not think without SheCodes I would be able to say I can confidently code a website and web app from scratch. React takes your learning from Javascript to a whole new level. The workshop provides a good and informative learning curve to get to grips with React as I do not think I would have been able to learn the framework on my own.
I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of coding and website building. The lessons are very easy to follow and the weekly challenges make it very practical and help staying engaged with the content!
