I graduated as a fashion designer but decided I wanted to learn something else. Coding always had my interest and Shecodes was the perfect fit. Coding is something I can use in my daily life and a way to grow in my job. I can't wait to learn more!

It's been really interesting learning to code, this is the only HTML course where everything makes sense you actually understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript work together

I absolutely loved the course: It's easy to follow due to the videos provided, which combine theory with a live demonstration of how it's done. In addition to that it's full of exercises where you have to try new things yourself and you have weekly deadlines resp. homework. This helped me a lot, because otherwise I know I would let learning slip after an exhausting week at work. :)

I have really enjoyed the last 3 weeks, and have learnt so much. I joined SheCodes as a bit of a spur of the moment thing, knowing nothing about coding but I am definitely going to take this further.

I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who has ever wanted to try coding! Matt explains the concepts clearly and the whole SheCodes team has been really helpful :) It's impressive how much you can learn in just a few weeks!

This was a wonderful introduction course to coding. The classes were very well structured and easy to follow for beginners. The length of each class were optimal. Furthermore, the small challenges allow you to directly apply what was learned. Finally the weekly homework allow being committed to finish the course. I am motivated to continue this journey. SheCodes has been great. I had no prior coding experience and was not sure where to begin. Luckily, I found SheCodes and in just a few weeks I've learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The videos are very informative and everything is explained very clearly. I truly enjoyed it and am looking forward to more weeks to come.

I started the introduction class to upskill myself and learn something new. Coding was such a mystery to me - until now! I thoroughly enjoyed learning about HTML, CSS and Javascript and feel motivated and able to move on to the next coding workshop.

After doing the SheCodes workshop, I knew I had to join SheCodes plus. Matt's classes and videos are very clear and easy to understand. From the most basic concepts to a more complex way of writing and understanding code, Matt's way of teaching students is easy to keep up with and will leave you with solid HTML, CSS as well as javascript knowledge and the healthy habit of wanting to learn more and more. Also thank you to slack's help on some exercises, they were really helpful and always patient 🙏 Next up is SheCodes React !💪

When my sister encouraged me to learn how to code with SheCodes I would never have thought I could learn so much in such a short period of time! It was really stimulating and I would definitely recommend it!

Learning coding has been such a huge challenge for me as there are so many resources available online and often overwhelmed with choices so I just sign up for a lot of courses but not completing any.But with SheCodes, it has been a wonderful experience and a lot of practical elements to this workshop. I learned so much from this workshop! One week in, I was asked to work on a website for work that was being built in WordPress. The skills I learned from SheCodes were immediately applicable and useful. I hope to take one of the longer workshops in the future.

This is a well-planned workshop with videos, challenges and solutions crafted for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I love how each lesson is followed by a challenge, which allows us to apply what we learn in the video class. You will be provided with the recommended solution after you have submitted yours - this really makes myself try to solve the challenge and refine my solution afterwards! Thanks, Matt and team!

Through SheCodes I was able to experience how coding is fun and fascinating. I am thrilled that I have taken my first step to join the SheCodes community and took the three weeks course. SheCodes is a very well done training:insightful, practical, entertaining and flexible to meet your needs: either to just get a first flavour of coding/programming or switch career completely. I enjoyed every bit of the program (lessons , exercises, homework...) and had loads of fun completing it. I must admit that I was, at the beginning, very sceptical to the e-learning format , but the way the course is structured : simple and yet very engaging (insightful videos, fun exercises, support given ...) made the whole experience greatly enjoyable. SheCodes is extremely easy to use. The challenges after each lesson are great practice and provide excellent support when you go to complete your homework. The homework projects provide great references for the final project and Java Script is so much fun to learn!

I've loved learning with SheCodes and Matt the past few months during quarantine! I already plan to go back through each lesson again to refresh and really cement all of this new information into my brain. I can't believe how much we've learned in such a short amount of time! Thank you for offering this and for being such wonderful hosts and facilitators for something so important to learn.

In a very short time, I learned how to set up a nice-looking webpage including some user interaction. Furthermore, I learned a lot about writing good code which is easily readable for others (and also myself) plus some methods for troubleshooting!

I can't believe I learned so much in such a short period of time! I never thought I can do coding, but now I am excited to learn more and develop my skills to expand my career opportunities .

React was fun and difficult. It needs focus and time. But, I learned so much.

A good investment to learn all the basics around HTML, CSS and JavaScript. At first, I thought it would be difficult to manage my time with a full time job, but nope... It was more like a game and it kept me really motivated! I will definitely go for the plus workshop in the future 👍🏻

Without a doubt, I have learned so much about coding from just this one workshop. The React workshop does a phenomenal job of applying what you already learned from the Plus course and adds what platforms are already using. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

I have never learned to code before and I thought I won't be able to finish this course, but I was so well explained!! I had no problems completing it. And now I can honestly say that I LOVE CODING!!!

It's unbelievable how much you can learn in 2 weeks with SheCodes! I highly recommend taking these courses. What I loved the most about this program is the challenges and how interactive it was. All the lessons are short and concise. Definitely, a good investment if you are thinking of changing your career or just learn a new skill.

Man... what a wonderful journey! Learning with Matt and his team was the best choice and investment of my time and efforts in 2020. I am very grateful for all that I have learned and truly recommend SheCodes to any woman in search of a change, new skills or an entrance in the world of web development. I started with the 3 weeks SheCodes workshop as a complete beginner in any area related to IT and tech. Matt's explanations and the lesson structure are very valuable and easy to understand and most importantly, guided step by step. There is also a wonderful group of people on the Slack platform where students are always welcome to share their challenges and get swift help form the team. After the 3 weeks workshop I decided to invest in the next step and take on the front end development course. I learned a lot. I had challenges, late nights and lots of satisfaction. Now I see apps and web pages with different eyes and I notice a growing wish in myself to further pursue this path. SheCodes Plus bootcamp is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed applying the learnings by building a weather app.

The second time I´ve encountered coding and didn´t remember it being this FUN! and easy to understand, definitely enjoyed every lesson and challenge, and will definitely keep learning more about it, many thanks to Matt and his team, for encouraging women around the world to challenge themselves and learn a new skill.

SheCodes+ has been a fun and challenging 8 week course and I would recommend to anyone who wants gain confidence in Front-End Development 💪The course is very well structured - allowing you to learn a little at time, while building up a real working prototype. I know coding is important for my future career, but I never thought I could enjoy it. Shecodes really change my mind. I learned a lot just by the introduction course, and I really enjoy working on the project. Now I feel more confident to go to the next level!

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience but honestly it was challenging too. Before joining SheCodes plus I enrolled myself with the SheCodes Workshop and it really helped in making me understand the fundamentals of programming. All of the lessons are created in a way that is easy to understand and fun to implement. During the SheCodes Plus workshop apart from HTML, CSS and JS I also got a chance to learn about API integration, GitHub and Netlify to host the applications. Today I know more than I could have imagined. The SheCodes Workshop is a great introductory course to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Access to the channels in the Slack App for additional help with the challenges was extremely beneficial. I enjoyed trouble shooting/puzzle solving to achieve the desired outcome of the projects and I'm excited to move forward and learn more! 👩‍💻🧝‍♀️

I finally found a course that explains JavaScript in a way that I understand! I like that you integrate it at the beginning with HTML and CSS, it doesn't feel quite as intimidating compared to learning it after mastering HTML and CSS.

This has been so easy to get into! I learned a lot even at my own pace. Thanks, Matt for being a good instructor and the technical assistants that have helped me (and the rest of the coders) hiding in the shadows of slack.

I’m so happy that I 3 weeks ago decided to take courses at SheCodes. I tried some different online coding courses before, but it didn’t work for me, I spend a lot of time, but by the end I could not code by myself. I really enjoyed the course! I have learned so much in just three weeks and I will definitely be able to benefit from this in my job, as I work in digital marketing. The workload is not a lot, it is perfectly manageable with a full-time job. The course is very interesting, sometimes I could not stop coding and learning even though I had other things to do. In three weeks you cannot learn to be a developer, of course, but it is a great opportunity for building a new skill that can benefit both your logical reasoning and future developments in a job 😉

This course is both fun and challenging. I really enjoyed learning the new techniques and then putting everything I learnt into practice for my final project.

High learning curve, but it was worth it!

I took the three week SheCodes Workshop. I absolutely would recommend it to anyone who had little to no experience with coding, and also needed scheduling flexibility. Over the course of those three weeks I learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, and used Visual Studio Code. Each lesson was short in length, less than 10 minutes on average, and easily digestible. I really liked that I was able to move at my own pace while still having enough time throughout the week to meet our weekly deadline for assignments. There are several people available to help you with any errors in your code, and to answer any questions you may have about a lesson or concept. You cant beat it.

I've tried a few times to learn code through other online courses and having a coworker teach me. This is the first time it made so much sense. Having the challenges made me feel like I was being productive and really helped me learn and understand the code I was writing. I had a great time and appreciate coding so much more!

After having done the first 3 weeks workshop and enjoying myself, I was in a bit of a dilemma as I could not afford the full price of the next part of the course, I'm content and happy that as a student they allow alternatives when you are financially struggling. After having gone over 12+ weeks with SheCodes I have enjoyed the process of learning more and how quick and easy it is to learn from Matt online and even struggling through the processes alone, but there are always great support available for any help. I look forward to the upcoming weeks as I continue my journey with SheCodes

SheCodes bootcamp takes the mystery out of coding and make projects straight-forward to learn development skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In completing the weather application, though there were moments of frustration, the scope and the instruction helped me overcome the challenges of using vanilla Javascript to build a functional application. I can't wait to take on more challenges!

A great workshop to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Well structured, clear and challenging enough for a total beginner while not being overwhelming.

I am so happy I went ahead and decided to move forward with taking SheCode Plus. It was very challenging and frustrating at times, but it definitely reinforced my knowledge from the 1st workshop AND built upon it. I can't wait to use what I've learned for real-life projects so I can enhance my skills.

I started SheCodes fresh off the boat with the intention of learning coding to open more job opportunities in the future. SheCodes React was surprisingly a fun challenge! The lessons follow an organized and simple way of learning how to code using React. Besides that, we also learn how to solve common problems and turn ideas into real apps/websites. 😎

I was never brave enough to learn coding, until I got to know SheCodes. I would have never ever thought that this will be so much fun! A fun and easy way to learn coding

A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)

I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.
