I really enjoyed this workshop. It was easy to follow and I received so much help. I love the fact that I got so many resources from this workshop alone. Another thing that I really appreciated is how I got help everywhere for example if my solution was not working well they would give me a second chance to redeem myself. I had no prior knowledge about coding so this was a great introduction to me. It can feel overwhelming for a beginner sometimes but the fact that we have challenges in almost every section helps us in our learning path and I am eager to proceed with my coding journey :)

I think SheCodes is a useful place to learn at your own pace, and gain a new skill with good practice, clear teaching and it makes you continue learning by keeping you accountable to a time limit, with the opportunity for extensions if necessary.
Compared to the first workshop (Basics), this one was quite challenging. I learned a lot. I especially appreciated that we are not just taught HTML, CSS and JavaScript but also how to use GitHub, host a website - things that go beyond coding and are important to know if you want to build a website on your own. Edit: I am bumping up the rating to 5 stars. I think I was a bit frustrated by the workshop because I had a very long break after the first 6 weeks and found that a lot of things changed when I returned. I am sure that if I had studied without this long pause, my experience would have been smoother.
I had a blast learning to code with SheCodes! The structure made it fun and easy, and I learned a lot in no time. The hands-on approach kept me interested, and the resources were super helpful. Now, I'm excited to explore more about coding and hopefully turn it into a cool career!

Learning while applying all the knowledge in a project is the perfect way for me. I get to experiment and sometimes fight a bit with the code but to be able to see a professional website at the end of it is really rewarding. I am excited to start the next course!

I had tried learning to code before but without a clear course of action, I ended up stuck and frustrated making zero progress. Project-based-learning is the best way to learn technical subjects and that is the very core of SheCodes' approach to teaching code. The greatest plus is their ever-present support team for when you get really stuck.

When I look back 3 weeks ago, I have ZERO knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Through this workshop, I learned the basics of web development and built a simple landing page. I was hesitant with SheCodes at first, but once I took the leap to join the free session with Matt, I have no regrets! Of course each course has different lessons and projects, and some external researching for each challenges, but even with just the 3 Week Basics, I've learned a lot more here with SheCodes than I did using other sites. I was impressed with the quality of educational material. There are videos to watch, support via Slack, and an AI bot. I learned far more in three weeks than I thought I could.
I had attempted to learn CSS/HTML on my own previously to no avail, but learning it through SheCodes made it so much easier to follow and learn. The basics course also introduced JavaScript in a way that made it seem less intimidating as other websites I've seen previously.

Definitely one of the hardest languages I've hard to learn so far. After many try outs, fails, and learning phases, I managed to understand the methodology of React, and grasp a basic understanding of it. You have to always keep pushing and never to be satisfied, until you are completely sure of yourself. Totally recommend to learn this workshop!

Time permitting I'd love to continue this journey as I have enjoyed the course enormously!
Really good interactive no pressure learning. The videos can be sped up and it is concise information and in small enough steps to complete the lessons with understanding, with enough information to make quick progress!
I enjoyed the React Add-On Workshop, it was great working on another project to further learn about React and how it works. It was interesting to learn how many APIs there are when creating the Dictionary Project. Matt does an amazing job at explaining everything, especially for beginners. I was really enjoying the lessons and challenges throughout this course but the minute we got to the final project and I was coding about something I love, something clicked!
