I had the opportunity to learn coding in high school but refused because I thought it was complicated. This course was fun to go through and learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and Java. I like that the deadlines for homework help keep you accountable so you don't end up slacking off.
Gaining more experiences after the basics program made me realize that there are always new things to learn, which I enjoy.
I am glad I took all these courses and learned something new. I definitely am not a fan of React but I know once I continue to learn on my own it will get easier.

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was challenging but reminded me of why I want to pursue a career in coding. From learning new things, to doing research, to creating, and then tweaking was a great experience! I like to see the difference between the world clock I made during a previous workshop vs this workshop. I recommend doing this workshop, not only because it will amplify your knowledge but as a coder, it is important to keep learning/growing and stay as much up-to-date on the coding possibilities (which change/grow on a day-to-day basis.

I have always been scared of "STEM" programs because I've never been very "quick" when it comes to logic. But Matt made this course easy to understand. He really understands what the student needs in order to get it -- or at least feel like they can get it. He pushes students to do the heavy-lifting so that we can genuinely learn the material.
