Finally! I couldn't be happier to have completed this part of the amazing SheCodes workshops. It took me much longer than most people, I was in a really dark place mentally, and even though it was hard, I did keep pushing (pun intented) and I am extremely joyful that I did. I learned so much more about JavaScript, got acquainted with GitHub, Axios and APIs. Understood the importance of an organized code, now I'm confident that the flexibility of the code always comes first and beats aesthetics. Coding first sparked an interest for me when i learnt that i could express myself creatively through it. The conventional coding career requires you to have good math's marks,something i unfortunately did not achieve in my highschool days. I had so much fun learning html, css, and javascript. The occasional bumps in the road did happen, but I had access to all the tools I needed to find the solutions. This is a wonderful workshop and I'm excited to move on and keep learning more!

I jumped right into this one after completing the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I learned a lot of useful techniques to refine and improve what I had already learned. Handing in a second project is also great practice. Would highly recommend. :)

I have been looking for a long time a way to try to learn more and more about programming. I tried websites, books, youtube videos, anything I could get my hands on, but I couldn't find a more practical method with which I could not only learn more but also enjoy myself while learning. When I signed up for the Shecodes course, I enjoyed from the first video to the last. It has been an incredible experience, that I have enjoyed a lot and that has not only taught me more about HTML, CSS and JAVA but has left me wanting to continue learning on this site!
I enjoyed this course so much. It was a good experience, I learnt code from scratch: I mean I didn't know anything code related before this course. The duration(time) of each lesson is below 10 minutes and this helped me concentrate through out every lesson, and the challenges after most lessons made it easy for me to practice. I learned a lot in this workshop. I had been wanting to understand how to make pages responsive and now that I know how, I don't feel like it's an impossible challenge. At least, now I know where to begin and what to look for.
I loved this course! It was the perfect introduction to coding and I felt like I learnt so much so quickly. The set up of the course made it so easy to learn, practice and then put everything together and Matt's lessons were all really clear and easy to understand. I felt fully supported the whole way through the course, it's so well thought through.
I have really enjoyed my 3 weeks of coding! It wasn't easy, but the workshops provide the right amount of challenge needed to learn and develop. I am looking forward to progressing through the different programmes!

This course was very informative and every aspect was broken down to make it easier for a beginner such as myself. I learned how to code and also the tools needed to complete these codes. I’m excited to share my recent coding project with you all! As a beginner in the world of coding, I set out to create a world clock that displays the current location, date, and time using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. This project taught me the power of determination and problem-solving, as I tackled various technical hurdles along the way. I learned so much in this workshop in such a short time. I couldn't have done that in any other course. Upon searching for a job after graduation, I saw the need to expand on my skill set and how that could potentially be helpful with me getting a job. Coding was one of the high income and high in demand skill set that I was interested in while on my hunt for things I could learn. I was skeptical about how I would breakthrough in the industry seeing that I didn't carry a Computer Science degree. Upon further research i found sites and online schools that offered to teach the skills. I then stumbled upon SheCodes, which was said to be dedicated to helping women break into the tech industry. I was fortunate enough to get access to their foundation that would teach women the basics of coding. So far my interest for coding grew due to their easy to follow lessons, that help you to understand what coding is, even when you do not know what you are doing. The self paced method they use, not only helps me plan my days well while integrating the lessons in it, it also allowed me to feel in control of my work and also pace my deadlines to my own understanding. I enjoy learning coding with SheCodes and I will forever be grateful to them for allowing me to learn and grow with them
