Learning how to integrate AI into JavaScript is so cool and so much fun. It definitely does help "cut" some corners with the web development. Also, learning a few new tricks, such as, adding in animations and the "hidden" feature makes the page look a lot nicer.

Huge thank you to the SheCodes team and to my teacher, Matt Delac, for an incredible coding and learning journey. This experience has been challenging, exciting, and genuinely empowering. I started with curiosity, and along the way I gained real confidence in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, APIs, and problem-solving. Every lesson, challenge, and project helped me see that coding is not just about writing code, but about learning how to think, create, debug, and keep going. I’m especially grateful for the clear teaching style, the supportive community, and the way SheCodes makes coding feel possible, even when it gets tricky. Thank you, Matt, for making complex concepts easier to understand and for inspiring so many women to believe they belong in tech. This journey has opened a new door for me, and I’m excited for everything I’ll continue to build from here.

Not an easy one, as you get further into coding the more complex it is going to be. But making mistakes will teach you how to solve the problems. Even if it takes time to discover them, the important thing here is to have them solved. That's what learning a new skill is supposed to be. I still have a lot of improvements to make. But for now I'm happy with the results so far.

I had a great learning experience with SheCodes. The courses are well-structured and beginner-friendly, making it easy for someone starting out in tech to understand. The lessons are simple to follow, and the projects help you apply what you learn in a practical way. I feel much more confident in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after completing the lessons, and I can already see real improvement in my ability to build web pages.

Built a responsive landing page for my favorite city, NYC! I learned how to structure layouts using responsive grids and how to add embeds to add real dynamic content. I recommend this course because it made me feel more confident in my coding abilities.

Working on responsive design completely changed the way I see web development. I learned how important it is to create experiences that feel smooth and beautiful on every screen size, not just on desktop. Responsive design made me appreciate the balance between creativity and functionality, and it’s one of the parts of front-end development I enjoy the most.

Learned many concepts in just 2 weeks, but they were easy to understand.

One of my favorite things I learned while building this cooking blog was creating a dark theme. I always loved using dark mode on websites, and learning how to build it myself made me feel really empowered. Seeing the page change themes with just one click showed me how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create interactive experiences. Every new feature I add makes coding feel more exciting and creative.

Joining SheCodes Basics Add-on was such a great experience for me. I gained more confidence in coding and learned how to make my projects more interactive and creative using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d get this comfortable with React this quickly. At first it felt confusing, but once I started building the weather app, things actually started making sense. Seeing my app fetch real data and update based on what I searched was such a good feeling. It stopped feeling like I’m just learning and started feeling like I can actually build things on my own. This course really pushed me, but in a way that made me want to keep going.

The workshop was very well structured and beginner-friendly. I appreciated the practical approach and the opportunity to build a real project. It would be great to include a bit more guidance on debugging and common errors, but overall it was a great learning experience. Thank you!

Another great challenge with more complex functions to play around with. The course gave the basics and was up to me to research and trial different things to get what I wanted as an end product. I started my coding journey with SheCodes Basics, learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from scratch. Now I'm currently working through the SheCodes Add-On, building on everything I've already learnt and diving even deeper. The progression between the two courses feels natural and well thought out. I have always wanted to learn how to code but lacked the push to really dive into learning. Most platforms I came across for self-learning had many complex lessons and no guidance for beginners. However, that changed when I came across SheCodes. SheCodes made learning code easier through its self-paced and curated curriculum that suited my schedule. The videos were easy to follow and Matt's teaching made everything click and stick. It is not only fun, but I'm finally learning how to code!

Great extension to the basics course, shows how to integrate an AI API into your code. Matt is a great teacher, the course structure is also really good as most lessons are followed by challenges, making you put what you have learned into practice.

This AI chapter was very interesting and fun to learn. I learned how to use an API to generate content from user input. At first it was a bit challenging, especially fixing errors, but I improved with practice. Building the AI Poem Generator helped me understand how AI works in real projects. I also learned the importance of user experience. Overall, it was a great learning experience.

Before joining SheCodes, I always believed coding was something only people who were strong in math could do. That idea held me back for a long time. SheCodes completely changed that for me. The way the lessons are structured made coding feel approachable, practical, and even enjoyable. I realized it’s more about logic, creativity, and consistency than complicated math. Learning Responsive was super challenging, but it was very fun to marry the skills I've learned for HTML and CSS with the functionality of Bootstrap. Very cool final project!

My journey with SheCodes started off amazing, learning code was fun and exciting up until it started to clash with my university studies. Test week at school approached and I had to put SheCodes on pause. But I ended up being too drained from school that I missed my deadline for some of my homeworks, including my final project. Luckily, extensions are allowed and it was given to me as an option. Instead of dropping out, I opted for an extension that bought me more time to finish my project. Next time, I'll try to start another workshop or add-on workshop once I've clearly set up my schooling schedule to prevent any clashes from occurring.

Completing this chapter was both challenging and rewarding. I improved my weather app by adding real-time API data, including wind speed, weather description, icons, and humidity. I also learned how to make my application fully dynamic, removing hardcoded values and ensuring everything updates based on user input. Debugging and improving the user experience helped me better understand how JavaScript, APIs, and HTML work together. Deploying my project on Netlify and updating my GitHub repository gave me more confidence in sharing my work and building real-world projects. This chapter helped me grow not only in coding but also in problem-solving and attention to detail.

This project helped me understand how to connect JavaScript with real AI APIs and build a working web application. I learned how to structure a project, and deploy it online with Netlify. It was challenging but very useful for improving my frontend skills.

I'm so excited to finally see my finished weather app live on the internet! It's been challenging. There were moments where I had no idea why things weren't working but pushing through it made it so worth it. Everything I learned throughout the course came together in this project. From structuring the page, to styling it, to connecting a real API and displaying live weather data. I built something real, and that feeling is unmatched. 100% worth every frustrating moment!

After first learning Java, It took some time to know how to code in Python. Luckily Matt is really great in explaining the differences and also the naming of what things are called in Python vs Java.

For me, it was too much trial and error while doing CSS & JS specially. It creates mental pressure and tension to deliver close to your best in the homework's. I guess this happens when your brain starts learning something new and wants to be good in it at the same time. Overall, It was really fun to do small small challenging tasks. Moreover, keeping an open mind that lessons probably be difficult in the next level. Thank you

A one week workshop but with so much to learn which I enjoyed doing a lot. It was so challenging but funny, as usual instructor will always find a way to make everything look simple to we can understand
