I really enjoyed the She Codes basic programme. It was a great introduction to coding, and the lessons where enjoyable. I loved having little projects throughout the workshop and enjoyed working on the final project at the end, which tied everything you learn in the programme together!
the learning experience was a smooth ride, the videos made it much easier to learn. And its safe to say the basics workshop will not be my last. I am looking forward to learning more and upgrading my coding skills.

This was an awesome addition to the Weather App that we had to produce.. I was left wondering about time zones and displaying the date and time of other cities around the world, and the add-on course answered it! Really enjoyed learning an extra new skill.
I really enjoyed the basics course. I'm not a fan of e-learning usually, but the homework deadlines and little challenges throughout helped to keep me focused and motivated. I will definitely be continuing my training with SheCodes :)
SheCodes Plus was incredible! I was constantly hungry for more knowledge after each lesson. I actually took Introduction to HTML with a few other backend languages in college, so this course was a refresher for me. I will say, I'm glad I joined SheCodes!! I learned to much from the SheCodes Plus course, it was truly a fulfilling and exciting course. I started my SheCodes journey with little to no coding knowledge and now I can confidently say I am familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript I successfully created my very first vanilla weather app. I'm excited to learn more and to begin my journey as a front-end developer.

The concepts are broken down into easily understandable and digestible parts. I never thought I'd actually have any interest in things like this. Yet here I am, eagerly coming back each day to learn something new.

Learning with SheCodes made me realize how much fun and useful it is to learn about programming. This has been a very challenging but fun experience. This course definitely stretched me. It allowed me to get a feel for what a future in coding would be like. I feel super happy with my decision to join SheCodes! I did the basics and will do the plus courses, but I don't think I am going to stop there. It was incredibly empowering to see the learnings of each lesson transform into a creation of my own. I especially had a lot of fun doing the final project!
I started with just doing the basic course but am considering doing the max course. I enjoyed the system of how we learn and like how it can be done on my own time and was totally up to me. Can't wait to see what I learn moving forward!

Upon starting this workshop, I quickly realised React has a steep learning curve. However, Matt made the topic approachable and less intimidating through clear explanations and informative demonstrations. This workshop has been a great learning experience that has left me feeling much more confident in furthering my knowledge of React. The project was an excellent means of putting what was taught throughout the workshop into practice. It is also a great follow-on from the SheCodes Plus workshop, highlighting the difference between Vanilla JS and React.

Javascript has always been the programing language that made me doubt my becoming a frontend Developer ,i learnt Javascript through this workshop and i was able to implement it in developing a project . I was always curious about how computer engineers build websites and people who are in stem create codes for robots and I wanted to see if I'd be able to take classes in order to learn them as I have adhd and I cannot focus on something unless I really love it. I also didn't have the time and money to go to uni for a degree in information technology as I'm already attending to finish up my degree in Business. I found the interface amazing and the courses are bite sized enough for you to understand key concepts quickly all you have to do in practice and create your own projects in the mean time. the best way I learned through out this course was opening up my VS codes file and typing out what was happening in the courses and also testing to see if I understood what I learned. I think most people are scared to start coding because they think it's super hard but it's actually quite fun IMO if you get the hang of coding formulas and the only major thing is debugging but that's really it! I think everyone who can get a certificate should try SheCodes out and if they need one for their job or just for fun it's deff worth a try. I can't wait to keep on with my studies towards becoming a front end web developer!

I am Lindokuhle Yende from South Africa. I recently had a new found interest in coding. I am not really a beginner since I have some background in Python but I was clueless about Web development. I found it very nice to learn JavaScript since it has some methods which are similar to those used in Python. I enjoyed creating my own website since it combines my knowledge in coding and my interest in Astronomy, which made me be able to express myself fully. This project made me realize that there is so much diversity in coding and you can branch into any field with your skills. I enjoyed every moment of this SheCodes workshop.
SheCodes plus is a much more advanced course in comparison to SheCodes Basics. Although it was challenging at times, I still highly recommend it. It has definitely helped me learn the foundations of web development!

I always thought coding was rocket science, and even though I needed it so much to improve my resumé, I was reluctant to learn it because I was sure it would be so hard that I would fail. After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. Initially, coding seemed intimidating, but I was determined to learn. I found excellent online resources and mentors who guided me along the way. I really loved and immersed myself a lot more in the course. It was more challenging than SheCodes Basics but also a lot more fun!! Matt really guides you through the making of the entire project but you're also given enough freedom to make it your own and play around with the code, if you choose to. Learning how to implement API was one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of this course. Learning about GitHub was also very useful. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started on programming.

The course material is presented in easily digestible segments, making it conducive to learning and retention. I found myself able to complete the initial project with ease. What I particularly appreciate is the fact that I'll have access to the workshop content indefinitely for future reference.
