its a wonderful foundation building program for those willing to learn how to code. Classes are concise and straightforward. The challenges, home works and solutions are quite stimulating. It was fun and i've learnt a lot . I would recommend it to anyone.

Having heard from my friend that coding is very difficult to learn I lost all interest in it. However, when I came across the link on Facebook to register and learn to code for free with SheCodes, I jumped on the opportunity. I found these workshops very interesting and the way the instructor- Matt explained made everything seem so easy and now I am confident enough to come up with a code that involves interactions. The React workshop was a lot of fun. I enjoyed being able to adapt my previously learned skills to a new language and was excited to discover how much easier React is to use when writing code.

I had a prolonged setback, because of severe illness. I am happy to return to something that I enjoy. It was challenging at times, especially when you had to correct old code with that many typo errors that made the code unusable. I have learned a lot in the process, skills that I never expected. I am confident now with git and debugging, learn a lot more about APIs and how to handle calls. It was a long road but an enriching experience. Thank you! Next level, Please!

I joined SheCodes because trying to learn solo was not really working for me. I am glad on my decision because I am surprised at how fast I have grasped concepts and was able to put them on practice. The platform is really user-friendly and I consider its methodology to be successful on building knowledge and making progress. I found it nice to have a community where you can ask questions and feel supported in your journey.
This was pretty easy going. You tend to learn a lot in the last lesson for front end development.

Before SheCodes I used several free online websites to learn HTML, CSS and javascript, and I have to say I am very impressed with SheCodes. Matt has a very clear way of teaching and also stimulates his students to search online for solutions to their coding problems, which is a very realistic way to enter the programming world and learn how to be independent while coding. With SheCodes Basics, I have discovered a new set of useful tools (e.g. info for CSS color palettes and gradients) that I had never encountered on free online websites. I am looking forward to the next workshops.

I've tried learning how to code in past however, I couldn't complete as I felt it was too long and complicated. But SheCodes on the other hand was totally opposite. Clearly how I've reached this far. The course is not complicated and is structured in such a way that you are able to learn something new in every lesson. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into coding but is afraid as they feel they don't know anything about coding.
