I loved learning with SheCodes!
I am 26 and had a child at 15. Our life has been a ride. I have been a server for well over 8 years and never have I ever thought about coding until our state went into lockdown and everyone including me lost our jobs. It was and still is quite scary but signing up for SheCodes has empowered me in a way I have never been able to reach before. I loved the entire course and I woke up bright and early every morning to finish my homework and study on my own time. Matt is a personable instructor that took the edge off learning something completely new and intimidating. I came into this with absolutely no knowledge of coding. And now I'm hooked. I am so proud of myself for trying something completely new and daunting and I really believe everyone can feel this way too. Thank you for such a fun and informative course!
I totally loved the experience throughout these past 3 weeks. It's been such an amazing journey where I've learned the basics, but fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have always wanted to learn about front-end web development and this workshop helped me so much. Not only it got me started on the material, but it also made me fall in love with it even more!. Matt is such an amazing instructor that has easy-to-follow guidelines. His lessons are very clear and he provides good examples to follow. The challenges after each lesson reinforce the concepts throughout the course. Plus you get to connect with other amazing people, while helping each other out. I would definitely recommend this course!!!. Looking forward to the next steps to advance my knowledge in this area!
I really enjoyed my 3 weeks with SheCodes. It's a perfect introduction to coding for beginners and gives you a solid understanding of the basics. There was a nice balance of controlled learning and creative freedom. I loved spending time on my final project and I'm excited to see where coding takes me.

I started SheCodes with no prior coding knowledge. I had tried online learning for other subjects in the past and didn't have much success; I thought I was just someone who could only learn in person. I decided to try the online course anyway and I am SO GLAD I did. The course is well laid out. The videos are well done and I loved doing the challenges and homework to practice and reinforce the lessons. The best part of this course was that it was actually fun and gave me the confidence to continue on my coding journey. I'm excited to see where these skills take me and I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to get started.
If you are afraid of programming and you think it comes from another planet, believe me apply to this course and you'll defintely change your mind(and even fall in love with it). The workshops are super clear and the support is really 24/7 on Slack. You really cannot get lost. SUPER

I had this interest in coding and I decided to aplly to the SheCodes Workshop and I loved the workshop. It's possible for someone without any background to learn how to code. Matt is a great teacher and his videos are really easy to understand and the challenges allow you to put in practice what you learn in each session. It's a great way to start coding.
I have loved doing this workshop and I am glad I took this opportunity. I would highly recommend it as it is a great starting point for anyone who would like to get more familiar with Coding. It helps understanding better what coding is and figuring out if this is actually what you thought it was. I love the way it is organised: a small video per topic and a challenge/exercise at the end of each one. In this way it allows you to learn and immediately put into practice what you are studying.

I learned to code at school, but it had been a while since I stopped. A real pleasure to be able to learn and challenge myself thanks to SheCodes. Simple to understand, clear explications even if english is not your first language. Looking for answers by yourself on websites and not having all the answers was challenging and I loved that !

I loved the course and how is devided by topics. Every video is very nicely explained and easy to understand and the excercises after each video is perfect to practice. It will be very usefull what we have learned for the future and to continue studying.

Great course, easy to follow and quite a lot of exercises and this allows you to really absorb the concepts and knowledge! For the price point and time frame, I think you will find no other course this good! Loved it!

I loved the workshop! It's really organized, helpfull and funny . Matt is a great teacher. He knows a lot how transmit the knowledge. The place is very good and has easy access. The assistants are so kindly. It was everything good in my opinion and I really recommend it. I think now I'm more confident to follow the code world.
This workshop could change completely my ignorant way of thinking: I concluded that coding doesn't have to be necessarily Maths. I didn't really have expectations when I registered. The instructor Matt was very clear and really knew how to catch people's attention! I've ended up thinking that maybe it's not too absurd to think about future contacts with coding. I'm proud of what I did, I loved it!

It has been a great opportunity to start the abc of coding. It had a speed mode equal to 10 energy drinks but it was a great experience and a great challenge... and I loved it! It allowed me to demystify important concepts and understand that coding it's not only to "geeks"!! But if you want it you can do it, it takes a lot of practice, investigation, curiosity and creativity... and to be able to start and stop a puzzle over and over again... Bucket list: "Start coding" --> Check!

When I took this course I didn't knew what to expect from it... The internet is part of our lives so I thought, why not try to understand a little more? The reality is that I falled in love with this "language" and all it's potential. Thank to Matt and all the team I discover a brand new world which can open a tones of doors in my future!
It all started with my restless curiosity ... curiosity about the coding world. After all, what do developers do on those black screens full of color coding? How can they create so many powerful things from a black screen? And so I went looking for a coding initiation workshop. I found SheCodes and its initiation workshop in one weekend. Some of my developer friends validated that SheCodes had amazing workshops and they couldn't be more right! Matt is an engaging speaker who introduces us to the programming world and encourages us to make the most of every minute of that weekend. The pace is mind-blowing but inspirational. The result of those 16 hours is that you can do a number of things that 48 hours ago you didn't even think possible. I loved it!
SheCodes changed my life in a way I could not have imagined. Not only did I discover a new skill I love, it led me to quit my actual job as a hospitality agent (I used to work in a hotel as a front desk agent)!! I am now investing my time in learning and practicing how to code and eventually get a job as a manager or elsewhat. Every single member in SheCodes team has an inspirational story and Matt is extremely positive when it comes to learning and being patient. I tried to code before with online tutorials and failed beacuse I needed the human approach and motivation, always reminding me to keep going and not quit. For that, a big THANK-YOU!!

My 1st ever experience with coding was about 20 years ago or so! Do you remember Geocities, at Yahoo? I remember I created a very rudimentary website with HTML there. Since then, my academic and working career has had nothing to do with coding at all. Lately I have become more interested at coding since I love learning new things and this workshop has been a nice challenge for me. It has also allowed me to explore my creativity and think about personal future projects. And definitely, it is an opportunity if you consider to change career. SheCodes allows you to take part in affordable fun workshops.

SheCodes is a great way to start coding! This weekend was very productive. Matt is a very dynamic teacher and kept us always focused on the goal: learn as much as possible during an intensive 12 hour-period. We have learn the basics from JavaScript, HTML and CSS and have been asked to create a landing page from the scratch about something that we love. Such a great way to test ourselves!

SheCodes has opened a whole new world to me. I was at that stage in life, where I couldn't quite figure out where to go - but coding has shown me a path! At least now I have the skills to search for a job that allows me to do what I love the most - travelling - while still earning money.

She Codes is a great way for beginners to enter the tech world. I loved that, not only you're introduced to HTML, CSS and JS, but Matt also gives you insights on the paths that you can follow from here on and the technologies that you can pursue. After recently falling in love with technology I started searching for code jump-start courses I could take. Immediately I found SheCodes and after a lot of searching I kept coming back to it until I finally mustered up the courage to enroll. Best decision ever! Not only have I enjoyed the classes, after dipping my toe into coding found I loved it and cannot wait to continue learning. I'm sure in a few years I will look back and see SheCodes was a turning point in my life.
I fell in love with coding when I first had a course on C programming in college (I'm a Biomedical Engineering student). After hearing about She Codes, I knew it was the right program for me, so I signed up. It was worth every single penny! I loved how much I learnt, how the workshop was organised, and I am looking forward to getting to extend my knowledge.
I had an amazing time during the workshop and I am so impressed by what I was able to learn in just two days.
