I loved this program! I was very intimated to begin coding with no experience, but Matt explained everything perfectly! I really enjoyed the way the program was set up and I had the opportunity to see that I was capable of learning a new skill in coding. This training has been the best I've ever had I love how it is so simplitfied and easy to understand. Coding has always been difficult for but today I feel like I can do this because Shecodes makes it really easy.

My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜 plus I have completed my shecodes plus it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me I’m learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project ❤️

This was one of my best courses yet, everything was easy to follow and understand. Not only am I learning a new skill but having fun while doing it. And the best part? The supportive Slack community that stood by my side, always ready to help when I faced challenges. And yes, there were challenges 😅! This project was really fun and simple in terms of design. It was heavy in JS which is exactly what I was hoping for. I loved being able to think through each issue I had and figure it out. Loved the project overall.

Really enjoyed learning these new and more advanced skills from the Basic Workshops. I loved building the weather app, whilst challenging at times, it is VERY satisfying when things click and the app works! I loved working on this weather app and spending time learning how API, Bootstrap, GitHub, Git, and hosting really are. This took most of my time but it was all worth it in the end. I hope to learn more.

This was a super fun way to learn grids! I've tried learning grids before but it just always seemed annoying and difficult. I'm very proud of what I ended up building and I can't wait to showcase this on my portfolio and show my friends and family what I made thanks to Matt's lovely explanation.

It's been an interesting journey. Despite the fact that I had taken a long break, I was able to pick up right where I left off, which is great owing to the fact that SheCodes grants lifetime access to the workshops. I love everything about SheCodes workshops: the hands-on learning, where you get to start coding from day one; the supportive learning community; the SheCodes team, who are constantly on guard and ready to help whenever necessary.No matter how simple or complicated a question could be, there was always someone willing to assist, which really improved my understanding of coding.

I am truly learning things that I need to learn from SheCodes.io. I love the fact that Matt is giving us lots of coding projects to practice and introducing new ideas on how to improve our techniques on coding. I love the course. I found the lesson with Matt particularly good as he isn't following a strict script. If he makes a mistake or something doesn't he shows how he would really handle it. It shows us the reality of coding. I am also very impressed with the whole company, the team and the work they put into the courses, the challenge and all the extra like the sheCodes upload, the colour and gradients, the challenges every few weeks,... it really shows their passions.😉

I can just say that this course made me fell in love with coding. I had zero knowledge or experience in the field and actually I thought that this was only for super smart people, and you had to be studying all your life to be able to understand how this world works. This basic workshop really demystifies and explains every single detail since the beginning and makes it so easy to understand. I really recommend it and I'm going up for more. Who knows, I might like it so much, that I take the decision to change career's path and join this wonderful world. When you're making your own html, it seems your drawing, doing you own piece of art.
