I highly recommend SheCodes for women to learn and grow in the tech industry. I have fallen in love with coding and it's all thanks to SheCodes, now I code every day it has become a hobby.

When I started, I was both nervous and excited. There were moments I felt lost or stuck, especially when I couldn't get my code to work, But I never gave up. Each challenge taught me something new and slowly, everything started to make sense. I learned to believe in myself and enjoy the process. today I'm proud to say I conquered my doubts, Thank You SheCodes, for giving me confidence and a new Love for coding.

I loved learning some more advanced elements of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create a webpage for something I am passionate about! The lessons are so easy to follow and I love that you are encouraged to troubleshoot things yourself as much as possible - I even learned some new things whilst looking up solutions to my problems. I feel so much more confident in building a basic website, and I am excited to learn more so that I can make more sophisticated and interesting webpages!

Creating the Daily Positivity website was such a fun experience! I learned how to combine HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make something kind and uplifting. I loved being able to share encouraging messages through code. It reminded me how small things can make people smile. 🌼

Absolutely love this coursework. I would never believe that I could do something so challenging and walk away wanting to do more and achieve more. Thank you for this online space, and for allowing women to feel empowered.

I loved the basics workshop! I highly recommend for anyone who wants an introduction to HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. The course is well-organized, packed with information, and set up so that you can learn at your own speed, on your own schedule.

This course was very interesting. I eeally enjoyed studying the plus version. I got to know I loved to create with this course and with finding this out about myself, I can't wait to create more precious websites. I really enjoyed this course even though I asked for many extensions, I'm glad I completed it.

Python Advanced was definitely the hardest concept for me to grasp and truly understand. Data filtering was especially challenging. It took real effort to make sense of what each line of code did and why it worked. However, following the video lessons and completing the challenges eventually made the concepts much easier to understand. The best part? You can always go back to review the solutions and try everything again. I love that there's no pressure to get everything immediately rightand that's what makes SheCodes great. This course is absolutely worth it because the skills apply directly to real-world projects!

As someone who’s built a career in both financial services administration and the events industry, I’ve always loved working in fast-paced, detail-driven environments. Stepping into the world of coding has opened up a whole new side of that energy, one where creativity meets logic and every challenge sparks curiosity. Completing SheCodes Plus has been such an empowering experience. This course helped me move beyond the basics and truly understand how to bring ideas to life through code. I just completed the SheCodes Basic Coding Course and honestly, I loved it!👌🏼 The course was designed for absolute beginners and ran over three weeks. It gave me a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while introducing me to VS Code in a hands-on way. The platform was super user-friendly, and Matt Delac is an exceptional teacher. His approach made coding feel less intimidating and more like solving creative puzzles .I enjoyed the balance between learning core concepts and exploring my own solutions. It kept things interesting and made me think more critically about what I was building. I can't wait to start the SheCodes Plus program, diving deeper into the nitty-gritty of front-end development and continuing to grow my skills 💻✨.

The course has been really educational. I love how the content is structured. I do have a lot of practicing and perfecting my skill, and I aim to do just that!

When I first jumped into the workshop, I was not sure I would be able to pick it up and I would get overwhelmed. Once I got into it, I absolutely loved learning! Matt keeps the lessons short, interactive and makes you want to strive to figure out solutions. I really enjoyed the course!

I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on Graduation section. I learned so much and was able to focus my final project on an idea I’ve always wanted: creating my own personal travel blog. I loved the process and found all the lessons very useful. I’m excited to keep learning!

I came in with zero experience in web development, and within weeks, I was confidently building websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I really loved this part of the workshop, last week I did one weeks lesson. This week I've done the other 5 lessons, it's that I did not have much more time the other days, otherwise I would probably have done it faster. I already had some experience with Python, which helped a lot by going through it fast.

It's very thorough and detailed. Plenty of time to submit the homework (even when your laptop dies and the in-laws turn up and take up your time for 4 days). I love that you can go back to re-watch lessons, there's a lot of assistance when and if needed. I was very stressed about doing an online course, but after starting SheCodes the stress is no more.

React ROCKS! And Matt does too - this was really easy to follow and I fell in love with React. I like that Matt keeps it simple but mentions how to continue if one is interested - e.g. he mentioned state management for the unit switch and this helped me investigate and make the switch work with a few more clicks. :)

I spent most of my career working with backend technologies, but SheCodes completely changed my perspective. Their clear, structured, and hands-on approach made JavaScript not only approachable but exciting. I never thought I’d fall in love with frontend coding, yet thanks to SheCodes, I now enjoy building things in JavaScript just as much as my backend work. It feels like they unlocked a whole new creative side of coding for me.

The hands-on projects, clear explanations, and real-world examples made learning JavaScript, HTML, and CSS both fun and practical. I especially loved the repetition method, which was really helpful for JavaScript, it can be tricky to understand at first, but after revisiting each topic in multiple lessons, everything started to make sense.

This year I wanted a way to capture and share memories from an upcoming camp without relying on others for photos. That idea sparked something bigger. I thought, why not create an app where everyone can collect and share their pictures in a fun, interactive way? But the problem was, I didn’t know how to code. I could design on Canva, but building an app felt impossible, especially since I couldn’t afford to hire someone. So I started looking into web design programs and discovered SheCodes, and signed up. Now, I’m close to finishing my app using everything I’ve learned. I love that SheCodes lets me work at my own pace but still keeps me accountable with project deadlines. Even when I wasn’t ready, I could ask for extensions instead of giving up.I’m so glad I chose this platform it’s made learning to code both accessible and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved these workshops when I enrolled a couple years ago, and I was excited to come back once I saw that SheCodes was offering a course in Python. I also noticed that all the little "Add-On" projects were included in the original fee I paid, so I just started working my way through those. It's been a fantastic refresher, and I'm excited to get back into coding so that I can finally change careers!
