I just completed the Plus project with SheCodes and it was such an incredible experience! The lessons were clear, practical, and completely transformed my coding confidence. I loved how hands-on the project was, it made all the pieces click together perfectly. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, and now that I'm diving into SheCodes Plus, I can't wait to keep building and learning.

She Codes has been an incredible journey. Graduating from the Python Advanced program pushed me in the best way—I loved the challenge, and it helped me grow more than I expected. I’ve even turned one of my ideas into a real, workable plan thanks to the skills and confidence I gained. I’m truly grateful for She Codes and the opportunities it’s opened up for me.

This React workshop was amazing! Building the dictionary app was challenging but incredibly rewarding. I loved learning how to connect multiple APIs, handle live data, and style the project into a clean, professional layout. Highly recommend it!

LOVED this section of the course!

The World Clock project was such a great learning experience! I loved building a real-world project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while learning how to work with different time zones and live updates. Deploying my project on Netlify and connecting it to GitHub made me feel much more confident as a developer. SheCodes has made coding feel fun, practical, and achievable, and I’m excited to keep learning and building more projects!

I gave the SheCodes Basics class 5 stars because I genuinely had such a great experience with it. Before starting, coding felt a bit intimidating, but the course made it feel approachable and actually fun. The lessons were explained in a very clear and easy-to-follow way, so I never felt completely lost or overwhelmed. One thing I especially loved was the structure of the course. The videos are short, focused, and straight to the point, which made it much easier for me to stay concentrated and absorb the information step by step. I also really liked that I could complete the lessons at my own pace and spread them out over different days depending on my schedule. That flexibility made learning feel much less stressful and more enjoyable. The hands-on exercises and challenges after each lesson helped me immediately practice what I had just learned, which made everything stick much better. It is very rewarding to see yourself actually build things instead of only watching theory. Overall, I would absolutely recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who wants to start learning coding in a beginner-friendly and motivating way.

OMG!!! This was very challenging, I had a small bug that took me a few days to figure out (had to replace this -with _).I learned to be patient with myself and also to pay attention to every detail. Had to take a lot of deep breaths, but I loved every minute.

The SheCodes Add-on was a fun and creative experience. I enjoyed learning how to use CSS Grid, animations, and dark/light themes to build an interactive landing page that reflects my love for reading.

I loved my experience with the SheCodes Responsive Workshop. Creating my profile project was both challenging and exciting because it allowed me to apply everything I was learning in real time. The workshop made Responsive feel approachable, and I gained confidence in my coding abilities while improving my front-end development skills. It was a huge step forward in my journey as a developer.

I love that you can learn a lot a your own pace and however it fits your schedule. Very recommended.

One of my favorite things I learned while building this cooking blog was creating a dark theme. I always loved using dark mode on websites, and learning how to build it myself made me feel really empowered. Seeing the page change themes with just one click showed me how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create interactive experiences. Every new feature I add makes coding feel more exciting and creative.

Joining SheCodes Basics Add-on was such a great experience for me. I gained more confidence in coding and learned how to make my projects more interactive and creative using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The lessons were easy to follow, beginner-friendly, and very practical. I especially loved how hands-on the challenges were because they helped me improve my problem-solving skills. A few weeks ago I didn't know how to connect to an API or make things work together. Now I've built two full projects from scratch. The course pushed me to actually understand what I was building, not just copy code. There were frustrating moments when things broke, but I slowly rebuild them. What I love most is that these aren't just course projects anymore, they're mine! I customized everything and seeing them work end-to-end is unmatched. Ready to build on my own now!

Loved this class

I started SheCodes as a complete beginner with no coding experience, and it has been a truly transformative journey. Through SheCodes Basic, I got my first hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building confidence one lesson at a time. SheCodes Plus took me deeper — I learned to work with APIs, GitHub, and hosting, and built real projects I could actually show off. The Responsive workshop taught me how to make websites look great on any device, and React pushed me to think like a real developer, working with components, state, and modern tools like VS Code and Netlify. What I loved most about SheCodes is that the lessons are short, practical, and flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule. I never felt lost because support was always available. I now have a portfolio of real projects and skills I'm proud of. I highly recommend SheCodes to any woman looking to break into tech!

This one was tougher! It definitely challenged me, but I loved every minute of it. Also, using React and breaking the code into components really made JavaScript make more sense. This is the point where I had given up the first time I tried SheCodes 4 years ago. I'm so glad I came back to it and pushed through. I really think I can start trying to turn this into a career!

The SheCodes Python Advanced course was the perfect next step in my coding journey. The curriculum is challenging yet rewarding, and I loved the deep dive into complex data structures and APIs. The best part? The course has evolved! You’re no longer restricted to using Replit; having the freedom to work in a professional local environment like Google Colab and VS Code made the learning experience feel much more authentic and industry-standard.

SheCodes has truly been a game-changer for me. Before starting, coding felt intimidating and confusing, but the lessons break everything down in a clear and approachable way that actually makes sense. The structure is well-organized, and the hands-on projects helped me build real confidence instead of just memorizing concepts. Loved it, especially in my line of work, CSV files and data visualisation are needed. Can't wait to put this into practice, but thanks to SheCoded, I am a happy Senior Quality Analyst who has put everything into practice and developed a project within my team to benefit all, and it is working!

I really loved this module. It was definitely challenging at times, but the step-by-step guidance made it much easier to follow and stay motivated. I appreciated how everything was explained in a structured way, almost like being guided by hand through the process. By the end, I have a much better understanding of components, state, and APIs, and I feel excited to keep learning and building more with React.

i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. I love how Matt explains every step from zero, not assuming you already know the concepts. The pace is great, you can adapt to it according to your availability and even if you already know the basics, the lessons are not boring at all, you only will finish faster than expected and then move on to the next one! Took a while, since i was juggling school on the side but i loved the fact that it is self- paced, I enjoyed this workshop because it challenged me to have to remember everything that was taught in the first workshop and also try apply it in here

As a stay at home mother I wanted to build a skill I was passionate about that would also serve me as I transition back into the work force at some point. After the FREE coding class I was impressed with how much I quickly understood and went ahead with the next step into the workshops. I am learning at my own pace and loving every step. I love that my son looks over my shoulder every now and then and asks questions, because coding has now peaked his interest as well at only 6 years old! I look forward to learning more as I move into Python!

I am learning so much. I'm gaining more confidence with each lesson, and I'm not stopping. If you are from the era of MySpace and were into customizing your backgrounds, try the free course, and if you get the good grabs of the concepts from the free course, try all of the Basics Classes AT LEAST. BUT if you really GET IT up to that point and love creating or trying new code, just get all the classes and keep going.

I absolutely loved this workshop! Matt explained everything so clearly, and each lesson introduced something new that I could immediately put into practice. It was so exciting to see my skills grow step by step, and by the end I felt proud and confident creating my own landing page for the final project.

Having been a literature and arts person my whole life, I never pictured myself coding. I'm so glad I took a chance on learning something outside my comfort zone, because it has been so rewarding! I absolutely loved diving deeper into Python and building a final project that could showcase all the things I learned about working with data. Python was much more challenging for me to learn than HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there were times I got really frustrated. However, this meant that every time some new information or concept really *clicked* and I could successfully implement it in my code, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. Now, I love when I'll be talking with someone or watching something that includes data and realise how I could interact with that data in Python. It's not something I ever thought I could do, and feel really proud that I've stuck with it. Learning Python has become a new tool I use to create things I never thought I could create before, like interactive games and graphs to chart my reading habits. I'm really sad the class has come to an end, but I look forward to building on the skills I learned to create my own projects!

I have had so much fun putting in the work and learning this information. I'm only upset that I didn't start it sooner. If you love tech or want to pick up a new skill to get a deep understanding of the world of coding, get the WHOLE program with SheCodes. I can't wait to keep going. I really feel like the sky is the limit for me.

In just four weeks, I’ve gone from having no coding experience to building a full project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
