I had such a wonderful time at the beginner's coding workshop! I found the experience to be incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. I loved learning the fundamentals of coding and found the workshop to be extremely beginner-friendly. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient, making it easy to follow along and understand the material. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to participate in this workshop and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to start their coding journey!

I can't believe the amount of fun I had! Coding used to look so terrifying from afar but with Matt, the information was relayed to me in a manner that I was able to understand everything with ease. This was such a lovely experience for me.

โMy name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. So I did my research and I ended up finding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity and excited for more learning and more adventure in coding ๐ plus I have completed my sheCodes course it was challenging but yet an amazing experience the fact that I now have a project that operates with real life data it amazes me I learnt a lot now I can call my self a programmer can not wait for the opportunities waiting for me in tech field โค๏ธโ

I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.

I love SheCodes. I love how the classes are broken down into bite size sections so the material does not get so overwhelming. I think its great that every lesson has a challenge that lets you put into action what you just learned plus build from the skills learned in the previous lessons. I like that we submit each challenge as we go along. Love that feeling of accomplishment.
Absolutely loved exploring more of CSS to enhance my website's overall visual appeal. The focus on CSS perfectly complemented what I've learned in Basics, seamlessly building on my existing knowledge. Incorporating Javascript to toggle dark mode was a great addition to the workshop, which has elevated my understanding and practical application of design principles. I love that each lesson built on the previous one. Reviewing HTML and CSS was a great refresher for me. JavaScript has definitely been more challenging, and I'm going to continue to build landing pages to practice what I have learned.

SheCodes Basics workshop for programming, introducing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This workshop was incredibly easy to understand and effectively got straight to the point. It allowed me to see the results of my learning process come to life very quickly, which was highly rewarding. One aspect that I particularly loved about this workshop was the abundance of hints and helpful tips provided, making it easier for learners to grasp the concepts effectively. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.
I would recommend SheCodes to anyone woman that is interested in learning to code. I've been contemplating it for so long, but I never found any course that seemed manageable let alone appealing. SheCodes is taught in an easy to understand and approachable manner. Matt explains each concept clearly and thoroughly, giving enough context for your to grasp the theory and to easily execute the practical elements. I'm beyond chuffed with the final project I've produced because it's hard to fathom that less than 3 weeks ago I hadn't the slightest understanding of coding languages. I absolutely love this program. I have adhd and have a hard time sitting down for 3 hours straight to study. The lessons are divided into small chunks that are easy to understand. I am very excited to continue the workshop!

SheCodes Basics was an excellent introduction to the basics of coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The classes were easy to follow and I was happy that the challenges weren't just a copy/paste of earlier solutions - it was just tricky enough to make you think and problem-solve on your own. I would love to continue learning more with their other courses in the future!
In less than three weeks, I have gone from knowing NOTHING about coding to being addicted - I love it. Good lessons with challenges to reinforce learning along the way, I'm so pleased with my progress.

As a coding newbie this has been challenging but so much fun! It's a great start to learning the basics. I love the small, focused steps of learning with application tasks throughout the week followed by a more challenging application task at the end of the week. The scaffolding of the learning is fantastic with learners signposted to lots of resources to help them. While my end of unit project won't win any design awards, I'm so proud of what I have learned in just 3 weeks!

This has been my very first experience with Coding. The best part of coding to me is to see the results of your work straight away. Even though sometimes I struggled when coding, I loved learning how to code a weather app and integrating API (real data) to the weather app. It feels so fascinating when you make something work ! SheCodes makes it easy to digest all the information into smaller lessons. And using VS Code, GitHub and Netlifly to publish the web apps, made it like I am one step closer to become a full-fledged front-end developer. :)

I would highly recommend this course if you're wondering what is like to code or if you have a busy schedule but are eager to learn. To me, it was extremely useful and super fun! I learned a lot and now I'm 100% sure I will continue coding. ๐ฉโ๐ป I loved the way lessons are separated into short clips because it makes it really easy to follow or rewatch if needed. Matt is a very good instructor and I found his explanations very clear (thank you!). This course was well-structured. The challenges and lessons moved in building blocks so it allowed me get a deep understanding of the concepts without burdening me with theoretical info and allowed me time to research for the challenges. I loved the challenges at the end of each lesson. They helped put the theory into perspective and challenge my thought process. I can't wait to practice more with what I've learnt so far.

I never thought I could have my dream of being a coder come true. Class were also way to expenses and hard to fully understand, but since I found SheCodes everything about my perspective has changed for me. Not only it being way more affordable than other programs, SheCodes is also very easy to understand the more you study and stay consistent. I don't feel rush or like rushing through the lessons without really learning. If there is something I don't quite remember or understand there is so many different options to choose from to get my answer. I can look back from old lessons, I can ask the alumni or I can even ask other students. There's a sense of independence but also a security that comes with the program and I love it.
Coding always surprise me sometimes I underestimate How long I was do a project or how fun, challenge even stressful it can be but I will always came back. This bootcamp not only showed me how a real life project can have your up and downs but also bring me more resilience to finish and love my final result.

SheCodes 100% definitely is the best coding workshop out there! Before starting SheCodes basics I thought I would feel discouraged or disinterested after the first week but it was completely the opposite. Throughout the course I was engaged and motivated to challenge myself and complete the tasks. The challenges and videos made coding feel so much more easier and it helped me stay on track. One thing I loved about the workshop is that I could go back to any lesson which I didn't fully understand and work on the challenges at any time of the day which is extremely useful for people who are busy. I've learnt so much from Matt and can't wait to begin SheCodes Max! ๐

I doubted myself thinking that coding is hard, but I took a leap of faith and realized how fun it is. I've always loved coding and stats but I didn't really know it in depth and now I'm confident enough and would to pursue a career in tech.
I learned a few things about coding when I was in grade school, and honestly forgot about how much I loved it! SheCodes has brought that back to me and I cannot wait to see what more I can learn and all that I can do!
The SheCodes basics workshop provided a great introduction for anyone new to coding. Lessons were short, instructions were specific, and there were many opportunities to practice. I LOVED this workshop, I know I say that about all of the workshops haha, but this one in particular was, by far, my favorite because I worked on a subject that's very dear to my heart, combining traveling and Harry Potter!
