I loved revisiting my love for coding through this basic workshop! The course was well-structured, so each lesson flowed well into the next, and all the homework were as fun as they were challenging. I joined SheCodes to learn the fundamentals of coding. My roommate and I had been discussing it for weeks and finally signed up for this course. SheCodes did an excellent job of educating me about the fundamentals of coding. I loved how the courses were bite-sized and the challenges/homework were very attainable. The course I took was fun, informative, and very helpful!
I loved how the SheCodes Plus workshop took you through the entire process starting in Week 1 all the way to the final project. It was cool to see the weather app come to life!

This course was a self-paced course which I absolutely loved as I have a five children in the home. It allowed me to go at my own pace and go back if there was something that I didn't understand. I loved the structure of the lessons and how most lessons required a hands on challenge to ensure that you understood the material. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to brush up or even add a certain skill set to your resume.

SheCodes is the place to go! When I started it help me refresh my memories in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have went to college for Information System. I graduated during the pandemic, I wasnβt getting any luck on looking for a job because everything was remotely. I was lucking to get a job as a IT Audit at a bank. Sadly at the very end it doesnβt work out and wasnβt what I wanted to do. I was looking for the Data Analytics or anything do to with coding. After leaving the bank I was jobless for also a year. Then I look in to the Phlebotomy program and heard it was easy to get in. I needed a job to pay payment that I have and saw some online program for learning to code again. I needed the money, so I went to the Texas School of Phlebotomy and got certified and got the job. So now I have the money to do the online program. I have come across SheCodes on any social media. It kept popping and popping up. So I decided to do the basic and I enjoy it! It was fun and I remember how much I love coding. Finish off the basic I feel so proud of myself and knowing how much benefit is going to help me. Thank you SheCodes for making it easy and fun to code again and looking forward to more coding.

I really enjoyed and loved doing the course, I recommend it 100%, it gives you a lot of knowledge and the videos are very easy to understand.
Once again, Matt and his team blew it out of the water with this course. I love being able to control the speed of my learning - some weeks I know based on previous courses I have taken, but don't skip! Matt includes so many little tips and tricks in each of his tutorials, even if you think you know the subject matter, you are guaranteed to learn something in each video.

I did firstly started off with Shecodes Basic, I found it so Interesting and I loved learning how to code. This made me want to learn more so I went for Shecodes Max, and I am loving it. Learnt even more and cant wait to learn and be an expert in coding from this. Great lesson's by Matt, easy to follow.

Honestly I had a misconception of " coding" that it was something only nerds could do and that my brain was not capable of understanding it. This course has changed my perspective by showing me that coding is actually quite accessible and can be learned by anyone with the right guidance. Through this course, I have been able to gain an understanding of the basics of coding and how to use them in practical applications. I dare say, I love coding and have started to challenge myself and find solutions.

A very thorough introduction into HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding from a very friendly and approachable teacher. The course is challenging in some areas but SheCodes is set up with multiple places to find help. I also loved the community chat - you can test your skills by helping others as well as supporting eachother! I would 100% recommend!

You get to learn powerful and extremely useful technologies such as the API: how to communicate with other applications, how to fetch data through the server and manipulate them according to your needs. SheCodes Plus unfold, in this way, the "mysteries" of these technologies, keeping its formula and method simple, clear and within everyone's reach. Also, another feature has been introduced to the SheCodes family which will make you love learning to code even more: Athena. I would recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone who want to deepen her coding knowledge and skills.

Due to past experiences with different coding courses, i had expected this to be a really difficult course. I was very surprised as how, it was set out and how easy it was to follow. I love that it is set out in bite size chunks, with challenges to show that we've understood what we've just learned. It's set out perfectly and i highly recommend it if you want to get into coding.

I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.
This was an amazing project to learn and practice all my coding skills. I loved building the dark theme feature and I cannot wait to learn more in the next workshop. Thank you.

It can be a bit hard to get at first but it's absolutely worth it. This was such a lovely class and I can imagine much easier than other longer term courses from other agencies. I love it. A very well dictated course where you feel that you advance quickly but at your own pace at the same time. I was able to build a landing page in only three weeks even though I knew nothing about coding before starting the course.

With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.
I loved the SheCodes Basics workshop! I have no background in coding or technology of any sort, but decided to try it on a whim to see what it was all about. I appreciated that the lessons were short enough to explain each concept in a digestible way. The Basics course helped me discover that 1) I can actually code and 2) I enjoy it because it combines technical and creative skills and makes me think in a different way than what I'm used to for my everyday job (I work in healthcare). I would highly recommend this course if you're interested in trying out coding!

Tech is such a broad field, and seeing where I am fit is important to me. Being a creative, Web development stuck out to me the most. I love to design, build and solve problems. Coding is just that. Yes it is challenging, but coding is like learning a new language. I love knowing that I can put together codes to build a beautiful masterpiece!
