I truly enjoyed being part of the SheCodes community. I not only learned the concepts but also put them into practice. I even deployed a final project. It was a great experience to complete a final task each week. I was always excited to see what the next week would bring. I loved how the instructor taught us each thing step by step. Additionally, the most rewarding aspect was creating content for fundamental topics that are often overlooked, such as deployment, API usage, and API documentation.
This has by far been the best course, better than traditional school I would say as someone with ADHD; the structure of the lessons makes it so much easier as the lessons are shorten then followed by practical work. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait for more! π
I would say that my experience so far has been amazing. I loved the entire layout of the course and how each aspect was taught step by step. Kudos to the instructor, Matt Delac! He is wonderful and truly knows how to teach. Understanding coding in its entirety is one thing, but knowing how to effectively teach it to others is another. I have always struggled to stay interested in coding, but since starting the SheCodes bootcamp, I find myself eagerly looking forward to each lesson. It's fun to play with the AI API! And it's crazy what you can build and create. It was a really good tutorial and I loved learning it! With the course instructions for the Poem Generator transferred you can build nearly everything.

I must admit this project was not easy but the knowledge I gained from learning REACT. I now know how useful this can be. I absolutly love REACT now. Now that I know, I will never see plain HTML the same again. My next goal is to learn PYTHON.Lets Go! This mini Responsive Add-on course was the perfect follow-up to the main Responsive workshop! For this project, we built a fully responsive single page website without using any frameworks like Bootstrap. While frameworks definitely make things easier, I really appreciated learning how to do it the vanilla way. It gave me a deeper understanding of whatβs actually happening under the hood. I especially loved learning how to work with embeds, and watching everything come together as the layout adapted across devices. Every new course connects another dot in my curious mind and I constantly find myself going, βSo THATβS how itβs done!β It's such a cool and empowering experience to keep leveling up like this.

Building an AI Travel Itinerary Planner has been a journey worth taking! I loved how I could combine multiple APIs, such as SheCodes AI for intelligent itinerary generation and the weather API for real-time conditions. Seeing the code come to life with colorful headers, weather emojis, and beautifully formatted outputs using the Rich library was so satisfying. Plus, I now have a functional tool I can actually use for planning my next adventure!

What an incredible three weeks of learning coding basics with Matt Delac. It was such a rewarding experience, celebrating those moments when your code finally works and pushing through the challenges of debugging for hours. That is all part of the learning journey. This course sparked a genuine interest in web development for me. What started as a βlet me try thisβ activity turned into something I truly love. I was doing it as a fun activity during my breaks after a long day simply because I enjoyed it. I built a weather app and completed my final project by designing an Airbnb themed website, which made the learning experience even more fulfilling. The course also helped me understand Python better, especially concepts like functions and conditional statements such as if and else. As a business/data analyst, I am excited to integrate these new web development skills into my analytics projects to create more interactive, user-friendly tools. When l was learning how to code on you tube and other free platforms,l was finding it hard to understand some of the things,So l thought to myself that maybe coding is not for me, but when l heard of SheCodes on Facebook by other ladies praising it l thought ok let me give it a try,and now l can witness together with those ladies that truly SheCodes is the goat. The tutorials are very simple to understand in such a way that even a person with zero idea of coding will definately love coding.

Have loved the SheCodes Basic programme. So much so, I have just signed up to complete SheCodes Plus! I am a Content Manager in my day job and looking to branch out to more freelance work. With my content knowledge, now combined with coding, I feel unstoppable! The classes are well-thought out and Matt's videos are easy to follow. I also like that Matt mentions that you might get frustrated and not to worry. I can be a perfectionist and want to be good at something immediately, so Matt's words feel comforting and let me know I don't need to be an expert right away (especially whilst trying to get my head round Javascript!). Building my SheCodes Add-On project was an experience of deep growth, creativity, and self-trust. This wasnβt just about writing code ,it was about learning to express my vision with clarity, structure, and elegance in the digital space. Through this workshop, I strengthened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but more importantly, I learned how to problem-solve, experiment, and bring ideas to life line by line. I used everything from layout techniques and font styling to hover effects, responsive image grids, and even dark mode toggles. Every challenge I faced taught me something new, not just technically, but personally. My final project, Mirembe Muse, is more than a landing page. Itβs a visual love letter to the values I believe in: natural beauty, ancestral healing, and self-devotion. Watching it come together with code I wrote myself has been incredibly empowering. Iβm walking away from this Add-On experience not only with a finished website Iβm proud of, but with confidence in my growing tech skills.
