I really enjoyed this course and loved making my final project!
I enjoyed a lot learning with Matt, he explains everything pretty well. The Slack is great to mitigate anxiety haha. I loved the flexible hours as well, makes everything easier and everyone can learn at their own pace. I'm thankful for finding SheCodes, the experience was great, I am looking forward to start the next course😊.

This course so great, I wish I knew about it before. Either way I am grateful to know about it now. Mat did an excellent job breaking down the lesson and applying to the next project. If you save properly you can always go back and relearn earlier that week or 2 weeks ago. I love how we applied everything we learn at the end of the course to create something beautiful, something on our own.
It was a wonderful, impactful, interesting and fun time learning with SheCodes. The teaching method is top notch with each weeks into different lessons with challenges which makes learning easy and fun. Now coding has become a part of me. Loved the sense of being part of a community! Also really liked that we had homework and final project to hand-in as this made me commit to watching the videos every week.

The learning structure is so easy to follow. I loved how they would introduce a simple aspect ensure that you understood it, then added a complex aspect to it.

I loved to learn little bit about React, it was not easy but not so far form JavaScript....I highly recommend for others girls who want to learn programming!

I have always wanted to learn to code; at least basics. Before applying to SheCodes, I have tried couple other platforms but I used to get boring and gave up right after the first lesson.I was thinking that I will never be able to learn it. However, SheCodes workshops changed my whole perception. I loved it. Mat is a great teacher and he explains everything so clearly. The lessons are not overwhelming like others. The tasks are interesting and fun. The team is very supportive. I have enjoyed every single minute of passed three weeks. When I look at my codes, I feel so proud of how much I managed to learn. What a great experience! The free workshop was EXACTLY what I needed to finally make the jump into coding that I had been thinking about for so long, and the Basic workshop solidified my hunger for more. What an engaging and fun introduction to coding! Matt's step-by-step videos were exactly what I needed to get into coding without getting overwhelmed! Loved this course! I'm utterly shocked at how much I've learned and my new capabilities! I appreciate the ability to take breaks/ask for extensions, it really lets you learn at your own pace since life can strike at any moment. I took this class to get into web development and I know I have more to learn but I'm excited and confident in my new skillset.
I didn't have a concrete reason to start learning code, but when I saw the Instagram ad for the free seminar I was intrigued and had to try it out. Turns out - I love coding! The SheCodes team have put together a very well organized course in introductory coding that is easy to follow and has a great outcome. I am so amazed that I have been able to complete the SheCodes Basics Course with such ease!! I had so many doubts in myself but once I started, I had so much fun and loved working on the final project in week 3!! I am so excited to start SheCodes Plus, I know there will be challenges but that is what makes it so thrilling, to overcome those challenges and find the solitions to succeed. I love SheCodes! I was really nervous before starting this workshop, because I knew nothing about coding! But Matt's lessons were so easy to follow and the challenges were really fun to complete! I loved SheCodes so much! Matt made it so easy to learn the basics of front-end development. The lessons are very short and digestible, but long enough to get all the necessary information needed to complete your challenges and homework. The project was SO fun and I found it very easy to apply what I've learned to create my page. I'll definitely be taking a more advanced course in the future.

I started working in the hospitality industry years ago while completing my University degree. When I graduated, I wasn't very sure what direction to go so I decided to travel the world instead. 🌎 After working my way up in the hospitality industry while globetrotting, I realized I have a love for software and processes. I decided to take the risk and switch industries! Since then, I feel like I'm finally able to apply my education to something I'm passionate about. It was actually a client of mine that recommended I sign up for SheCodes so with the support of my Manager, I decided to take the leap and start learning how to code. I've really enjoyed this course and can't wait to learn even more with the hopes I can apply this knowledge in my current position and assist with my career development moving forward.🚀

Matt's instructional videos were short, but concise and easy to follow. I loved that there is a community to ask for help and that after you submit and assignment there is a video with the solution for you to check your work.

I was thinking about switching carrier for a while and my friend found for me SheCodes free class. Decided to try a beginer program to "test the waters". Best decision ever! SheCodes very easy to learn but what i loved the most is time flexibility. Can't wait to start other programs!

I was afraid to learn how to code because I had always thought coding was intimidating but taking this beginners course had helped me realized that coding is very fun and anyone is capable of learning the basics! I loved every moment of it, and I plan on taking more courses to further my learning.
Matt is a good teacher. You can feel he is passionate about coding in his teaching. (no teacher can be better than one who loves what he's doing!) Class content is well-structured and -designed, one thing at a time, many practical techniques are taught. The way how each specific code works is explained clearly.

SheCodes has definitely been so enjoyable, I started the workshops for my love of tech and women empowerment. And I got that and more. For someone who has a Marketing degree and no experience in coding, Matt's learning style makes even a beginner feel welcomed, and the content easy to digest.
