I've started my journey with SheCodes workshops in February 2021. I loved every minute of the whole year with all the workshops. It's sad or more like bittersweet to finish my last workshop. I'm grateful to Matt and the SheCodes team for all the guidance and support. You helped me, and many others, to survive this year.

I always thought that I would never be able to understand any programming language in my life but with Matt everything seems easier! We learn in a practical and fun way. I loved the final project!
SheCodes Plus was full of challenges but I loved every and each of them cuz I learnt a lot from it and I enjoyed this workshop. The videos were so well-organized and Matt's teaching was so good and easy to follow.

This really is a great workshop - Matt is easy to understand and takes you through it all step-by-step which is great for those with no tech background. I also love that I can work at my own pace and it means I can keep up whilst working full time!

I love coding but I got too overwhelmed trying to learn elsewhere. I have been able to learn on this platform with ease and I am having fun!
I really love SheCodes flexibility. I had a really busy end of the year and couldn't keep up with SheCodes weekly deadline, thankfully I didn't need to start the responsive course right after finishing the plus. Instead I managed to take my time to get my work and school matters done and came back to finish the responsive course, I was so free I finished a 5 week course in 2 weeks. Now I will take some very deserved vacation and then finish the react course!
A really challenging but fun and rewarding course. I learnt and achieved more than I ever felt possible and am really proud of what I produced! I loved being able to do the course in my own time and being able to take breaks when I needed a week off. The challenges and homework requirements kept me on track and made sure I was actually learning and staying focused. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning react 😊
Absolutely loved the course, Matt explains everything in the way that an absolute beginner like me actually understands EVERYTHING! I have zero tech background and so following this course, understanding and putting it into practise made me feel so empowered and proud of myself! And it was light and fun and no preasure but still passing through HUGE chunks of solid knowledge every day! I could not recomend this course enough!!!
I loved the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I didn't have any coding experience and I didn't know anything about what is taught in SheCodes. During the workshop, I was always thinking that it was going to be in the next lesson that I wouldn't understand the content, but that never happened! The short videos with Matt´s clear and straightforward explanations guide you step by step and cement knowledge, one on top of the other. From the beginning I had no doubts that I was really learning and I´ve completed the challenges and projects with confidence in what I was doing. And to get to know some coding and learning tools used by professionals is really valuable. If you, like me, have realized that programming skills can make your projects come true, SheCodes Basics is a wonderful and very useful way to get started. On the other hand, if you still need to understand if programming can help you with something, it will certainly be enlightening. Congratulations to the SheCodes team for their amazing work!

I loved the steady progression of SheCodes Plus! Matt and his team did a really amazing job of breaking everything down into manageable pieces. I didn't have any coding experience before finding SheCodes; I find that the way the courses are set up makes it easy to understand and apply techniques. It is such a cool feeling to know how to build and host an application.
Working though SheCodes Basic, Plus, and Responsive has been super fun and I've loved learning as I've made my way through them. I'm on to SheCodes React Workshop next and excited to continue my learning and put my new knowledge to use once I'm done!

The good feeling I got from SheCodes is indescribable. Getting to know the SheCodes Foundation and participating in the foundation's courses has been one of the best events of my life. The SheCodes coding course is excellent and unique. I liked coding and always wanted to learn it. This course is so great that I fell in love with coding. I can say that this course is the best course I have ever taken in various fields. It is very regular, principled, and most importantly, project-oriented. The way Matt teaches is excellent and enjoyable. I am thrilled that I had the chance to participate in this fantastic course. Been wanting to learn to code for awhile and took the leap to join SheCodes. It's been a really fun experience. The lessons were bite sized and easy to follow. Matt explained everything very well. Each lesson was easy to follow and understand. I loved the hands on exercises that built upon each other. By the end of each week, I actually could figure out the homework because of how the class taught each element. I already want to sign up for the more advanced class to expand my new coding knowledge! Thank you for this workshop. :)
I chose SheCodes because I wanted something that was flexible enough to allow me to learn around my work schedule, but also structured enough to keep me on track. I love that SheCodes started at the extreme basics, and taught just enough in each lesson to be easy to follow while still providing a thorough knowledge base in coding. I was extremely busy with the holidays during the past three weeks and was still able to complete the workshop and feel like I know what I am doing. I'm looking forward to the next level!
I love the idea of SheCodes - encouraging more woman into coding and also the foundation mission touched me so much. This is the first time I found an online course that so engaging and offer so much support. I had such a wonderful time doing SheCodes Basic and can't wait to continue on other SheCodes workshops. Wow, I have to admit it was tough! But really, really stimulating. It feels so rewarding seeing a real weather app, with real data, and fully functional, built with my own hands! I learned so much during this course, I started to get a bit more used to Javascript and I was even able to write stuff on my own in the final project, which I couldn't imagine I would be able to do. I also loved learning how Git works! There's so much stuff I need to learn better, especially from the first weeks; but I think what I learned until now is already so much, so I have to thank Matt for all of this!
I'm so glad I took the next step with SheCodes Plus. I learned an incredible amount in such a short amount of time, yet I was never overwhelmed. I love that every week is self-paced, so I could focus on coding around my other commitments, and I'm so grateful for the helpers on Slack who got me out of a few binds. On to SheCodes Responsive! 😍

I started this workshop knowing NOTHING about coding, and finished it feeling pretty confident in the basics! I love how the course is formatted in small sections that build upon each other, and the concepts are very well explained.
The SheCodes Basics workshop is great. I started with very little coding background (as in a did some basic html 15 years ago in high school), and I was able to understand the content and lessons very easily. I enjoyed the process, and loved that the courses are relatively self-paced so I could fit them around my full-time work schedule. I'm excited to start the next workshop!
When I started this workshop 3 weeks ago, I had no idea what I was doing as I forgot the coding basics since the last time I did was around 10 years ago, I loved it <3
I would highly recommend this course for beginners. It combines everything you need to know to start coding as well as tips on how to configure your editor. Also, if I studied coding some years ago, I have learnt so much during these past 3 weeks. I really love the fact that for every lesson there is a challenge so we can practice what we just learned.
This is my second course with SheCodes. I love the structure of this course - first you have the opportunity to learn from Matt through clear and engaging videos, and then you get plenty of practice through challenges and homework which test and grow your knowledge further. Having the Slack channel available for any questions was also incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend this course enough - thank you to the entire SheCodes team!

I loved this class! I'm really starting to feel like coding is coming naturally now. The projects were great for sharpening my skills and understanding of front-end development and I feel so much more confident in my abilities.

I learnt HTML and CSS in the early 2000s and tried my hand at being a front-end developer. However, I felt like an imposter and lost my love for it because I couldn't get my head around JavaScript. After discovering SheCodes, I admittedly took a few months to finally take the plunge to enrol but I am extremely happy that I did! The way Matt breaks down each concept makes it incredibly easy to understand and apply. I truly wish SheCodes existed at the start of my career — my life would be very different today if it did. It's never too late though and I'm excited to start the next workshop!
Loved learning to integrate API data with JS and having one project to which we added more and more functionality as we progressed one step at a time. Coding made simple.

Loved this course. I knew nothing about how to make a website mobile friendly before this and the team helped break this topic down into manageable stages across the 5 week course. I really enjoyed learning something new.
As a newbie in tech or IT in general, it was so much fun learning new skills. It was a challenge and not always easy but I loved it!
I loved building my own weather app, from designing it to making it fully functional. During this course I learned so much and was very happy to put it right in practice and see how with each lesson my project was growing. I really like Matt's style of teaching and explaining.

I started SheCodes Basic with very little knowledge about coding. After the 3 week workshop, I'm quite impressed with all I've learned. The lessons are well timed and organised, which made them easy to fit in a busy schedule. Matt explained everything perfectly and personally I didn't need any additional help, however if you need some, the SheCodes team is very accessible and ready to help you out. I love the experience I had so far and I will continue to learn and develop my coding skills with SheCodes PRO!
