SheCodes has made it accessible for me to delve into the world of coding. It is something I always had an interest in but was scared to take the leap and try to learn due to high costs of other courses and being employed full-time. SheCodes has been easy to follow along, I love being able to go back and review lessons to enforce my learning, and also the flexibility with deadlines if for any reason I need extra time to complete the assignments. I am excited to continue with the rest of the courses!

Working as a full-time single mom, I've been working retail my whole life and I have lost my love for it and wanted to try something new and rewarding. I have found a lot of interest in coding and have found it to be very fun and rewarding. I am looking forward to continuing my adventure in coding and everything that it has to offer.
I never thought I would be interested in anything related to IT, it started as a challenge to expand my knowledge in different fields, but I've come to love it! I love that I can be creative but still challenge myself, my knowledge and my learning skills. SheCodes is amazing, Matt is an amazing teacher and every class is so fun! I love to keep learning with the SheCodes workshops. The workshops provide a lot of learning material, and make it easy to learn how to code. I want to keep learning and create more projects that would assist me to transition to become a front end developer. Getting to the end of the SheCodes Plus course is definitely a highlight of the year for me, where I didn't think it would be possible for me to achieve and do everything I have accomplished with my final project today. After fully dedicating myself these past few months to learning and exploring the world of coding, I can safely say I love it, and I can't wait until the next chapter with React! :)
I absolutely love this programme. It really helped me realise just how fun and creative coding can be! The challenges and homeworks allow you to put your newfound coding knowledge to work and I really like how the final project is based on our interests. I was a technical Recruiter for four years and came to know about coding and the IT world through recruiting.I was always fascinated about it and wondering if I could do that aswell. I have been wanting to get into coding for a long time..but there have not been many options without the proper background in this field + without having to sacrifice your fulltime job etc for it.Therefore i was very happy see an ad about shecode. I enrolled and wow. What an amazing experience sofar. Easy, understandable and perfectly explained lessons..i love to attend each lesson and am even excited after work to go to my class/next lesson and finally to my project end of the week:) looking forward to the rest of the journey!!
Overall extremely positive experience. I chose to attend SheCodes Basic because I needed a new challenge in my life, something that would spark my curiosity and exercise my creative and logical sides. Matt made the material fun and pushed us all to do better. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in coding workshops. The thing I loved most about the program is all of the support and encouragement I received.
I had zero knowledge in coding but had always been very interested. Since I'm in Law it's not usual to have access to any kind of class that would help me get to know this area better but now I can say that I at least know the basics and would be very much interested in continuing with other SheCodes workshops ! SheCodes is the best workshop I attended. Attendance at this workshop is required for any front-end programmer.I love its courses, and I m happy in coding.
If you are even considering taking this class, DO IT!! The way the class was laid out and the challenges after each lesson really helped me apply what I was learning. I love how they connect the students through slack so you can ask questions, and bounce ideas off each other. Although I don't think I will be doing any major coding soon, this has already helped me in my current role communicating with developers and knowing how to translate business needs more clear. I have LOVED doing this course and it felt like a natural continuation of the skills learned in the first two courses. Making a responsive site from scratch has really shown the power of all the techniques learned and the end result has been hugely rewarding. Coding with SheCodes was a great experience in my life and Matt was one of best teachers I've ever had. As Matt always says, I really enjoys every second I spend learn coding and solve every session's challenges. The course was well-organized and clear and I really love it.
I thought that I would learn the basics and be happy with just that. This is my third workshop and I continue to love coding and learning through SheCodes. Everybody at SheCodes are so helpful whether it be answering questions directly or showing you different websites that can answer my questions. I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish and it is all thanks to them. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with the React workshops!
I tried the first free lesson just for fun and ended up falling in love with coding! Absolutely recommend it and can't wait to learn even more!

I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!

I loved the workshop!!! I have always struggled to learn to code. But the lessons at SheCodes are easy to follow making it a lot of fun to learn.
What I liked most about the course was that every learning sequence is finished with a hands on exercise. The sequences are not too overwhelming and nicely structured. I would have loved to be challenged a bit more - so I wouldn't mind if the exercises would have required a bit more own research.
I highly recommend the course! I love the system of challenges making us learn in practice, not just teaching us how to do it.
After completing the Basic Workshop I had so much fun learning how to code that I decided I wanted to continue my coding journey. Now that I have completed the Plus workshop, I have decided I want to become a professional front-end developer! I have come to love coding so much and I can't wait to continue on my journey with SheCodes with Responsive and React!

I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. A big shout out to Matt, he makes lessons fun, relaxed and also teaches to have patience while learning. It's not easy to teach technical stuff, but having the right teacher makes all the difference. I'm going to miss my days working on these projects. I love the SheCodes platform and I hope much more women can get on it and learn to Code!

It was really challenging but definitely worth what I have learned and what I have achieved. I love React!! it's amazing what you can accomplish with it.
I joined the free coding class without any specific expectations and enjoyed it so much that I ended up registering for the SheCodes basics course. I don't regret it at all, I would say I made a great decision because Matt explains everything making it look easy and that makes it more dynamic to learn. I also loved that in every lesson you get to practice what you learnt, which I believe is what makes you actually learn it. I personally liked coding because it is quite interactive and you also feel fulfilled when you see in a visual way what you created.
SheCodes beginner workshop was so much fun! I love the delivery of content, easy to understand and not overwhelming. I also appreciate the community and support from the mentors and peers. Overall a great environment! I can't wait to move on to SheCodes Plus!
I did it again! 👩💻 Finished another SheCodes Workshop! This time I built two React apps thanks to the help of the SheCodes instruction and support! I loved and looked forward to every lesson. These workshops were challenging but rewarding. 💪 I'm now ready to build more amazing applications using JS and React!
I would have never thought that coding is so much fun. I came across SheCodes on my Facebook, and who knew a harmless click would turn into a 3 week commitment to learning this new skill. I went from knowing nothing about coding to building my first website about something I love. It was a great experience.
I loved the 3-week Basics course! It was a great refresher of HTML and CSS, and Javascript finally makes sense now. I tried learning it a few years ago, and I just couldn't get it. Matt made it so much easier to understand! I'm looking forward to continuing my education with SheCodes!

I loved taking Matt's course and he explains things a lot better than other resources and I've tried several while self-learning. I think it's great how I can always refer back to SheCodes for learning resources. He simplifies a complex process and makes coding exciting! It is also great that the SheCodes team can help everyone figure out their errors and correct themselves versus struggling to fix the code which could take much longer, save yourself the time and stress and take the course!

I think so far this was my favorite workshop! I loved learning about the responsiveness and getting insight on how homepage layouts change on mobile devices as well as SEO - something we use every day. I really haven't put too much thought into how all of this actually works so far but it was really, really interesting to learn and actually not as difficult as I thought it would be. Matt is a great teacher and I can't believe how much I have learned in just a couple months. There is one last workshop to complete for me and I am really excited to unlock even more skills and knowledge!

Amazing!! it's such a great feeling to know I have learned a new skill and with it can create projects like the Weather App. There are many pros to SheCodes, but the one thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that Matt teaches with real-life examples.

SheCodes is great! I love how engaging and easily digestible each lesson is. The instructor, Matt, offers a lot of helpful tips and resources along the way to help you even after you finish the program. As a full-time working mom of two young children, I especially appreciate how flexible the program is. I have done a lot of research on coding workshops, and this was one of the few that had flexible schedules, relevant course material, all for an affordable price. Highly recommend!
I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!
I think this one was my favorite workshop so far! Loved the creativity that was required to create the final project and the possibilities responsiveness gives while creating new websites.

Exceeded my expectations straight away! A very hands-on course that is well thought through and easy to take in – but challenging at the same time. Mat guides your though each workshop very well and he is easy to listen to and explains in a way that I found easy to understand. I also loved the community within SheCodes – it is very welcoming, and I love the fact that it is easy to ask questions and having a community of female coders that support each other. I have successfully completed all the SheCodes workshops. I highly recommend these workshops if you are looking into coding. I have started a year ago and thanks to Matt and all the team I fell in love with coding and I will be looking for a job in the field in the future. Matt's explanations are easy to follow and very detailed. I loved the fact that after each class there is homework so I could practice what I learnt.

Completing SheCodes has been very rewarding. Starting off I knew I loved User Experience, but I knew nothing about coding or where to begin. Matt Delac is a clear, skilled, funny and wonderful teacher. The projects were entertaining and helped me gain true knowledge and confidence in coding. Matt's videos are very instructive so we can easily follow them. The best part is I didn't even notice that I was working on the challenges and homework, because to me I was just having a lot of fun. I also loved the self-paced learning, which may be challenging at times but with discipline and passion, any dedicated student can do it.
