I have been looking for a career change for quite some time. And I love a good challenge! But after researching several other coding boot camps, all with a hefty price-tag, I was beginning to think coding wasn't my journey. Until I found SheCodes! Their Basic Coding course was well in my price range and just enough to get "my feet wet". I knew from the first lesson on Week 1, coding was for me, and I plan on signing up for their other courses.
This has been such an easy to follow program! I love that everything is recorded. This allows for a rewind option as much as I need, which is often. The slack communication is perfect for problem solving on my own time.
Once you pop, you can't stop! I have absolutely loved learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I cannot wait to continue enhancing my knowledge and testing my creative side!
I love the classes! They are cut into small segments to make it easier to complete with a busy schedule. The challenges, homework, and the final project help you put everything you learned together. Also, you can see how much you learned in three weeks. Looking forward to the next level of training.

I can't believe I had zero knowledge of html, css and java 3 weeks ago. Now I've created a page from scratch and I can't wait to keep learning. I love Matt's way of explaining complex ideas. I also love the fact that we start working on VS Code right away. I absolutely recommend this workshop.
In my case, joining SheCodes was a totally spontaneous decision :) I had no experience in coding and I loved the lessons. Everything is explained step by step and you can get help any second. What is more, I found the option to extend homework deadlines very helpful. This course was a great introduction to learning the basics of coding - I'm looking forward to learn more in the future.
I've had such a fun few weeks! Before I started SheCodes, I felt overwhelmed by the number of free classes available online and I didn't know where to start, what language to learn, how to structure my learning etc. SheCodes has made everything very straight forward and I am really enjoying the process. I particularly loved playing with color palettes on CSS and making my HTML update in response to user interaction using .innerHTML on JavaScript. I can't wait for SheCodes Plus!
I just want to say a huge thankyou to Matt Delac for opening my eyes to the world of code 👀 I stumbled upon the SheCodes Express video by accident (never thought I would be grateful for Ads!) and completely fell in love with coding on the spot. This has truly be amazing! Learning React has been challenging but so rewarding! I also loved working on the dictionatry app as it was something to be build from scratch and really tested my nerves sometimes 😁 However, final result always justifies all struggles 🤩

For the last three years, I have taught second grade in an elementary school setting. During the pandemic, I found a passion for technology and teaching online (unpopular opinion!). I have always loved designing and creating my own resources but had little knowledge on the subject. I realized a couple months ago that I would love to get into the tech world but didn't know where to start. When I attended the free workshop I was blown away by Matt's ability to effectively communicate how to code. I knew I could pick up on it quickly so I joined the course. The last 3 weeks have been so much fun! The course is clear and concise. Matt does a phenomenal job breaking down HTML, CSS and JavaScript into digestible lessons. The challenges really push you and give you a productive struggle. I highly recommend this course!
I enjoyed making my own portfolio. I definitely need more practice but this was a good start. Loved the challenge of making things responsive in smaller screens.

The final project really pushed my limits and I found myself having some much fun exploring new ways to code. I especially loved the bonus challenges as it really made me think for a creative way to code my project. There's not one way to do a certain thing and that's really awesome! I really appreciate the videos from the instructor as well, it helped in case I missed something or there was a more constrcutive way to code my idea.
As a creative starting out in their coding journey, I am so glad I made the decision to continue with the SheCodes Plus workshop! I loved the freedom of learning at my own pace and setting a foundation for my skills in front-end development. Can't wait to see where this will take me!

SheCodes is a simple and accessible introduction to coding! I don't think I really want a career in coding but I love learning new skills and understanding how things work. I'm sure knowing the basics of coding will come in handy in lots of ways I don't even know yet but more than anything I have found it really fun and satisfying!

I loved this workshop as much as the previous ones, if not more. I just opened my own website for the first time on my phone and I am so proud of what I was able to achieve. I am so glad that every little mechanism and/or functionality of coding a website, making it responsive, etc. is explained on its own. And that SheCodes offers little challenges along the way, helps enormously with my kind of learning. Very recommendable to try this course!!
This was by far my favorite course! It was so much fun and was filled with information. Matt is an excellent instructor. The methods are easy to understand and it's broken down in easy to follow sections. Love that you can work at your own pace.

I found SheCodes by chance, in a period where I needed a challenge! I started from zero, two weeks ago, I opened the first video and I was hooked :) Matt is a great teacher, the videos are clear and walk you through every step. I have started the course a week and a half ago and now I have already finished the first website and it is about my little Shiba dog 🥰 I loved the workshop very much! 😍 It was a lot of fun to study here with Matt Delac. I have finally completed the React course of SheCodes. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also very fun (personally I enjoyed the React course WAY more than the SheCodes Plus course)! I was motivated with seeing my progress in real-time, and as always Matt's instruction is remarkable and easy to understand and follow. The rest of the SheCodes team is very helpful in answering questions as well. I love the fact that we can review course materials and videos as many times as we want, and that we have lifetime access to our completed course workshops! I'm definitely going to review and refer back to what I learned in my React course throughout my ongoing coding journey. I have learned so, so much. With SheCodes, I was able to learn to code from literally no experience at all, all the way to being comfortable with JavaScript React. I encourage any and all women interested in learning how to code to learn with SheCodes. I look forward to everything SheCodes has to offer in the future, and in the meantime I will get to work on my own projects independently now. Thank you so much for everything!
This was very fun and informative experience for me, I started having interest in coding after attending the free workshop but wasn't sure if I would've been able to like it. at the end of the basic workshop I can say that I loved it and I have learned a lot from SheCodes. Will definitely be enrolling for the further harder workshops.
This SheCodes course gave me an excellent overview and introduction to the coding and tech world. Processes and practices are very well covered. I loved the motivational and positive atmosphere of the course environment. Really empowering! I needed a lot of time outside the course to research certain Java Script functionalities to really get it. There are probably better courses to learn Java Script but for me, it provided what I expected.

Well, this was fun! The creative side in me absolutely loved getting into designing and building my own website with SheCodes Responsive. In this course we learn the details of the whole process of developing a website, from Search Engine Optimization, to multiple page hosting, Media Queries or Boostrsap to make your site responsive, so it is usable from all mobile devices. Wether it was me personally, or the whole process of learning and evolving taking place, this course went more smoothly, with rarely any bumps on the way. I really enjoyed it and i cant wait to get onto the last one, React!
I started knowing nothing about coding and in just 3 weeks I learned so much! There were times where the challenges in the lessons were a bit tough, but it was just to help my brain expand more in understanding the concepts that were being taught. My favorite part of the course was just putting on my headphones and listening to SheCodes radio as I coded. I love Coding!
Wow... truly a fantastic course! I really LOVE the lesson format of SheCodes. Everything is in very manageable bite-sized pieces with the space to let you experiment a lot or a little with each lesson. I have a little bit of history with html and css, but I've always struggled with javascript... but Matt made it so easy to understand! Not only that but learning about VS Code and how to use it was incredibly valuable. I'm really looking forward to the next workshops! I'm gonna be a coding mastermind soon, just you wait and see! SheCodes Basics was fun and paced in a way that kept things interesting. The course is easy to understand but at the same time challenging. I love that it is women-centered! (Pro tip: listen to some strong female artists while coding and you'll feel even more empowered) I learned so much in a short time and now have a firm grasp of coding. I'm excited to apply it to my career!

I loved react. I liked it better than vanilla javascript actually, everything can be much better organised with react. The courses were very well designed, I especially enjoyed building the dictionary app after all the weather-app-building :) It took me definitely longer than 5-10 hrs a week to really throw myself into everything, but it was worth it and I'm very motivated to start working with react on a regular basis now.
I loved this course! The lessons were engaging and although it covered a lot of new skills it was always exciting and never felt overwhelming. The project was challenging and fun to work on, with a good balance of space for creativity and instructions for guidance. Really looking forward to starting the next workshop!
I just finished my first year of university for design and I had two computer science courses that I absolutely loved and showed immediate interest in. During my summer break, I decided to take up this SheCodes course to learn more about HTML and JavaScript which definitely broadened my knowledge from what I had learned in school.
Learning with SheCodes for the past few months was a life changing and fulfilling experience for me. I am grateful to have been able to gain so much knowledge in such a wonderful environment and in a pleasant way thanks to the lovely, always thoughtful and available team and an amazing instructor. I am currently in an environment where working with front-end engineers on a daily basis and that's an opportunity. I've always been passionate about creating stories from various types of data facts. Storytelling is a very powerful tool for making a concept of digital services. Coding knowledge means a lot to me in order to be able to communicate more smoothly with our engineers and to realize visions together. SheCodes is simple and practical, and I enjoyed finishing SheCodes Basic. I believe that to learn coding is also to learn how our world has been described. I'd love to continue learning with Shecodes.
The course was concise and creative. The style of teaching here allowed me freedom to experiment, while also having structured guidance. I picked coding up fast ... fast enough to invest in the pro courses. I'm an Artist and coding lover, for it's design 😊!

I loved learning coding on SheCodes! The classes were easy to understand, and the course is structured so that it is easy to follow while keeping up at your own pace (and it was so much fun!) I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning code!
A few months ago, I lost my job as a scheduler for a dental company due to the pandemic. I felt lost and hopeless. Every day that passed felt like a step back from where I wanted to go in life. I then decided that I did not want to continue on this line of work and began to draw and create again. During this time, I was able to channel my creativity once again, something that I lost as I "grew" up. I remembered as a child I wanted to become an artist or someone who can create beautiful masterpieces. With that in mind, I set out to find what I was looking for. I stumbled upon an AD for web development and decided to try it out. I fell in love. Coding allows me to create beautiful websites and yet challenge myself intellectually. I would highly recommend trying out the first beginners' courses to see if this is the best fit for you.

I'm a graphic design student who's always curious on how to do coding and luckily enough, I saw from a friend's Instagram story, she join SheCodes 3 months ago and I look up at their website and thought it would be interesting to learn basic of coding and here I am just finish my final project and I absolutely love every course. Matt was incredible and he really taught us step by step through the process.

I am so happy I found SheCodes! I had been learning how to code on my own for a few months already. And though I did learn quite a bit, I was struggling a lot. I felt lost in this new world, and it was very easy to procrastinate. This course has given me the structure that I needed and it really is set up in a way that eases you in so you don't feel so overwhelmed. The lessons and projects are a lot of fun, and when I needed help the slack community was great. I definitely love the community that I became a part of, everyone is very helpful and supportive. This was a super fun course and since I am a visual learner, the videos worked really well for me. It has been great to understand a topic that felt so foreign to me before this course. I have loved being part of a community of people from all over the globe. I also have a twin brother that is an amazing programmer and I have loved being able to learn and discuss coding with him! I didn't think I could code. I had not used a computer in years. This course was so simple to navigate for me despite my lack of using a computer. The structure of this course is easy to follow. Although the challenges are, well, challenging, I had an immense amount of fun expanding my knowledge in this new-to-me industry. Love the support from the team as well! This course is the best I've seen on the internet. Since 2020 I saw the advertisements about SheCodes on social networks, at that time and in that period, I was thinking of adding another profession area. I took the risk of buying the course, as I had no idea what it will be, if I'll be able to do my homework, and I also had other doubts. After all, it wasn't all bad, on the contrary I loved it a lot and they surprised me a lot, and SheCodes, the team and Matt gave me an opportunity to open to the new door of the future, the future of technology. I started out with little knowledge of HTML and an aspiration to learn more about HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. Can safely say that in the last month I've successfully learnt and retained more code than I ever thought I would! I've loved every minute of the SheCodes 'Intro to Coding' course, the layout of the workshops are fantastic, with bite-sized lessons that Matt explains very clearly. You're putting into practice what you've learnt every step of the way, so you're really getting a good understanding of what the main elements are and how the coding languages work together.
