Hey future SheCoders! I just submitted my project and I'm very excited to share my experience with you. I loved the whole process. The required solution submittal after each module really forced me to learn. For some one like me, without a computer science background, the modules were very well explained and presented. SheCodes Basics, in just 3 shorts weeks has given me a taste and opened my mind to the possibilities of what I could create as a Front End Developer, now I'm hungry and want to know more and more!!! The lessons are great; Matt talks you through what you need to know but allows for you to still find a few little things out for yourself; which you do - because he gives you the skills to know what you need to look for. His team at SheCodes are fabulous also; if you have a query they are there for you and get back to you asap. It is definitely something I would recommend you sign up for - I LOVE IT. It's really amazing how in such short time it's possible to learn the basics of coding and even be able to create your own web site! I loved the workshop, all the lessons are very well explained, besides, you have all the help from the SheCodes team and the community in case of any doubt. I'd really recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about coding career but isn't 100% sure yet.

Wow, another awesome experience with SheCodes! React is super cool and I'm so thankful I had the chance to complete another workshop with SheCodes to learn about it. The lessons are broken down into digestible chunks which makes learning complex techniques more approachable. I love both of my projects and I am proud of myself for pushing through even when I felt like giving up. Although I have finished all four SheCodes workshops that are currently offered, I would happily return in the future and sign up for more. Matt is a great teacher!
I´m in love with coding. It has been quite a challenge but each day I´m learning more. I enjoy the classes, they are easy to understand and I like how Matt guides us through each step and gives us tips to go on our own and trust our research instincts.

I think it was an excellent opportunity to learn new things. I would absolutely recommend it because I think that there are not many spaces made specifically for women and dissidents where these skills can be learned. I found it to be a wonderful and enriching experience. The world of coding is a space that I am just getting to explore and I loved learning it from a place that was so friendly, so simple, and in my own time. I think that the most remarkable thing that this workshop has, is that everything is very clear, the content and the lessons are very pedagogical and there are many opportunities where one can ask, and I believe that this is fundamental in an educational process.
I love how thorough each lesson is and everything is explained very easily for you to understand and not get lost in the process. It's great that we get to practice with every step of the way, it is challenging but worth it in the long run because of everything that I've learned! As Junior Product Manager, I loved SheCodes Basics, is a great starting point for understanding HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It provides the basics, with good examples and practice assignments. It also points you in the right direction for learning more and how to research answers to your coding problems.
SheCodes Plus has been a blast! Loved that the course not only built upon the basics, but focused on the DevOps & practical skills & knowledge that will be needed when working in the field. Mat broke everything down so well that he made complicated concepts so easy to follow. And the team on Slack, especially João, was amazingly helpful! I loved how Matt made clear from the beginning that anyone can get into coding, no matter the background. The three weeks course it's a very pleasurable intro to the world of coding. You learn a lot of things in a very short time without feeling overwhelmed or scared, which is very important for absolute beginners.

AMAZING coding course! And by far one of the best online courses that I have come across. I've loved every second of it. The short exercises throughout the week are super fun and really reinforce the learnings from the videos and prepare you for the weekly homework. By the end of the course, I was surprised at how much information I had retained about coding. When it came to doing the final project, it had already begun to feel so natural. It's been amazing to learn how to build a basic website page from scratch and see it come together in the final project. So a HUGE thank you for introducing me to coding and for such an excellent course.

It was the perfect balance of challenging and encouraging, with the lessons very clear to understand and the challenges and homework pushing you to use your initiative and test things out. I loved the React course. At first, I was intimidated because of all the JavaScript, but React makes much more sense and it's easier than JavaScrip I'd say. Don't be intimidated by the name! Take this course, you'll do fine.
