Working on the SheCodes World Clock project was such a rewarding and fun experience! It allowed me to apply new skills in JavaScript and Moment.js to create something both practical and interactive. I loved the challenge of integrating different timezones and the ability to personalize each city's clock, while also learning about how to handle timezone offsets and dynamically updating the UI. It was a great hands-on way to deepen my understanding of working with dates, times, and APIs. Plus, seeing the world clock come together in real-time as I selected different cities made the whole project feel incredibly rewarding. This project was an awesome blend of learning, problem-solving, and creativity!

Honestly, I can't believe that I have managed to complete the Shecodes basic coding. I am so happy, coming from a fashion and hospitality background, I wanted a change and to get new skills. I have always loved CODING, but was intimidated by it. I am a Christian, so I spent some time asking God what I should do. And whilst I was in that season of prayer, waiting for an answer from the Lord, I came across SheCodes Ad, and I knew this was what I needed. I am enjoying this so much. It's a bit of a refresher for me so far. I have learned a few new things and been reminded of a few I had forgotten. This add-on course was a game-changer when it came to working with dates and times in code. At first, I thoughtβhow complex can that really be? But wow, thereβs so much more to it than I expected! We built on our foundation and learned how to streamline bulky blocks of codeβtaking 50+ lines and reducing them to just 10 using new tools and techniques. What I loved most is that SheCodes continues to prioritize understanding the "why" before jumping to shortcuts. That teaching style really clicked for me. Once again, Iβm impressed with how clearly everything was broken down.

SheCodes has been an incredible platform for me, especially as a full-time student looking to gain new skills in coding. Before joining SheCodes, I had little to no experience in programming, and the thought of learning to code seemed overwhelming. However, SheCodes made the entire learning process structured, engaging, and, most importantly, manageableβeven with my busy academic schedule. What I love most about SheCodes is how well-organized and easy-to-follow the programs are. The lessons are broken down into bite-sized modules, making complex concepts much more digestible. My journey to learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has been amazing, what I love the most was the detailed video explanation by our instructor Mattπ, sometimes when my code didn't run I felt frustrated but what stood out for me in this workshop was when our instructor said in a certain video "Have fun and Google is your friend, research, don't copy code but use it as inspiration and that you can get help from us if you feel stuck". I love these motivational words because during my project, I felt down at some moments, but recalling those words motivated me a lot. I am so excited that despite all the hurdles, I was able to complete my project, and most of all, I had quite a lot of fun coding. If you really want to learn coding, then SheCodes is for you, because whether you are a beginner or intermediate, the workshop structure and standard is top-notchπso if I can code, then so can you, Up Up SheCodes.
