I love everything about SheCodes! I started shecodes just to acquire the basic knowledge of coding and to see if I would enjoy it, and I very much did! I would highly recommend it for anyone who is curious and wants to start programming. It was worth it :)

I really learned a lot more in-depth skills, particularly JS, and was able to apply my design ideas and creative insights into an app! I really love coding and the designing process as well!
I just submitted my final project for SheCodes Basics and I loved every minute of it. I had previously learned to code in high school which was forever ago and forgot just how much I liked it. This is my first coding experience and I'm in love with it! You made the process very smooth and interactive. The idea of short videos with challenges afterwards is awesome and gives you a hands-on experience right away. I'm really looking forward to extend the knowledge gained here!

SheCodes has provided a strong self-paced fundamentals course that dives you straight into the world of coding! It's a course where they've cut out all the fat, allowing you to have hands-on learning from the get-go. I love how thorough, yet easy it was to follow along. I've always hesitated to try to learn code because it seemed daunting and something I did not know I would enjoy. However, with SheCodes, I've found a new appreciation for learning languages such as Java and HTML. This program and the team behind it are full of people who are always more than happy to help you through your work and adjust if you fall behind. I have a busy schedule as a current student but following the SheCodes program never proved to be a hassle to finish nor a strain on my ongoing schoolwork. I love this program and it is a decision I will continuously thank myself for following through with. I cannot wait to keep going.

Great introduction to coding!! Matt is a great instructor, he teaches in a way that leaves you confident about the information you're learning. INSTANT switch from that "can I do this?" mindset to "I can TOTALLY do this!" It had it's moments but I loved the challenge and learning something new.

This is such a great workshop to take if you want your websites to look good on smaller screens. I loved the videos as we built a multi-page website together. I learned what a good work process is like and it helped me develop my own work style.
I have been loving the journey so far. I do have some experience with html, css and Javascript. I love that the courses uses videos with bite size lessons to complete with one project at the end of each module. I started a front end bootcamp and it was way over my head with a lot to complete in a weeks time. This course has given me to much more confidence that I can do this!
I love the SheCodes workshop format! Each lesson is so easy to understand and I enjoyed building on the concepts with each associated challenge. The ability to receive quick help when needed and also to work through the course via clear milestones and loose timelines was perfect for my lifestyle. I felt supported, but also motivated and excited to grow in my coding skills.
The basic workshop was fun and I love that I could learn at my own pace! The length of each lesson was manageable and the challenge after each lesson & final project was great for hands-on experience. Would love to join the more advanced workshops soon!

This course brought out the inner nerd in me and I LOVED IT! With coding, I finally feel like I have a creative outlet that also has structure, black and white guidelines that I can follow. This course was fun and challenging and I loved it. Very flexible which I truly enjoyed being a mother of two. The structure, support from the SheCodes team, and the help through the Slack program were incredible. In learning a new skill (at any age), Matt made it easy to understand and grasp the basic concepts.

I was initially nervous about taking on learning to code as it seemed complicated, but I wanted to give it a go. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning, Matt is a great teacher and breaks it down so well - he also compares it to real life scenarios sometimes which makes it easier to understand. You have plenty of time to learn and submit homework/projects while maintaining work/life balance. I love what I have learnt so far and plan on upgrading to a bigger course.

I did the Basics workshop and I think it's a great way to learn about the very first initial steps in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. PS. I had a great learning experience with SheCodes. I am currently working on getting my bachelors as a Software Developer. I come from an Ultrasound tech background and decided to switch careers. I love coding and I definitely am looking forward to learning more.
I was looking to enhance my professional skills and a colleague of mine recommended I start learning how to code. I was very skeptical, because I have absolutely no background training in coding!! But they were confident that I code learn if I put in the work. By the time I signed up for SheCodes and committed myself to the process, I became more optimistic in my ability to learn how to code. I love the direct and to the point lessons. Being able to complete the challenges immediately after learning the material is very helpful and seeing Matt work through the solution is great! I was nervous to start this process, but now I am eager to continue my coding journey!!

I love that this program is self-paced and interactive. SheCodes gives you a chance to practice each aspect of coding before moving on to the next lesson and it all builds on the previous lesson. Also, the Slack community is SO helpful when you get stuck on something.

I really enjoyed the basic course from SheCodes. It was well structured, easy to follow and I loved the challenges in between to always practice what you just learned. Only minus point was that in the last week you do not learn anything new. You are completely working on the final project.
I love how I do not stress coming into my workshop sessions and instead love the time I spend here. The workload had been reasonable in a way that they challenge me but light to the feeling at the same time. Nothing too overwhelming in the sense that the workshops do not make me run away and avoid. I love this course and I found it very useful with good exercises to practice. Matt explains in a very nice way which makes things easier to understand, since I was never the technical person. I love learning new things, it was a lot of fun and the course was much better than expected, I was very happy to see the results of my projects. Working as a Recruiter, this course already helped me a lot to have a better idea of what my tech colleagues do in a regular basis.

I loved this course as an intro to getting into HTML coding. It taught me how to be comfortable reading and working in an HTML page, how to work in VS Code, and provided me with a great learning community. They were always quick to respond when I had questions and broke down the lessons into manageable steps. It was nice to be able to learn in a way that catered to my preferred style of learning.

I loved how easy SheCodes was to follow. The lessons were bite-size, the challenges made it easy to put my new skills into practice, and the final project really challenged me to think for myself. I've told several friends to look up SheCodes and register!
I'm so impressed with how much I have learned in such a short amount of time. I was a little worried coming into the course being a complete beginner but I feel it was really easy to follow and I even enjoyed the problem-solving element if I had made any mistakes. I love that there are colour templates, gradients and cheatsheets available to make things a little more simple. I have signed up for SheCodes Pro and I'm so excited to see where it takes me.

It was a long time since I had coded but since joining SheCodes last year, I was sure I was going to pursue this to the end. The course material is well organized and clear making it easy to follow. The step by step challenges makes it easy to reassess your understanding. I have also learnt a lot talk of APIs, design and bootstrap. I love SheCodes! I Cannot wait to learn react.
