Wow! This was my favorite @SheCodes.io project so far! It seemed like a daunting task at the beginning, but step-by-step it started coming together. I enjoyed choosing the best word-choice, images, song lyrics, music videos, and element styling for each section. My confidence as a new coder (55 days total) continues to grow especially since overall things moved along smoothly for me. When I did come across a temporary hurdle, I explored options until I found a solution that worked. Thank you to @Matthieu Delac and his team for providing well-structured lessons and support if students need it. Now, moving on to the REACT workshop!
SheCodes Plus was definitely way more challenging than SheCodes Basics and basics add-on. However, thanks to Matt's detailed explanation of each step, the learner doesn't feel lost or out of place.
I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic course. It has provided me with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and I'm excited to learn more as I progress through the upcoming courses. Matt is an excellent instructor and the lesson format is great. The content is broken down into bite size lessons with hands-on exercises at the end of each lesson to reinforce the learning.

I am a Full Time Registered Nurse at the bedside that has been looking for an alternate career path. I decided to dip my toes into the tech world with SheCodes because it let me do just that without committing to an entire 8-24 month long commitment at a formal university; and I am so glad I did it because I'm learning how much projects matter more than an institution name and 4 year programs! I also love that they offer shorter workshops to try out coding before committing to a larger investment, which many alternatives require of prospective students without them even having tried coding. The learning segments are easy to digest, homework and challenges are very straight forward and they teach you real life ways to find help before reaching out to their technical support. It is very organized and easy to follow. All in all, I have to say I'm impressed. I've only done the 3 week workshop and already have a project that I can put on my portfolio and that has given me the confidence to proceed with the SheCodes Max. SheCodes Basics was an amazing experience! I've learned so much and I had lots of fun. I never thought that I could like coding this much, but I actually did enjoy these past weeks. Matt is a great teacher and made everything seem so easy. I hope that I can continue learning with SheCodes :)

Responsive, a journey and a half! Definitely kept my interest as I have always wanted to get more into the design of a website and responsive images and media on different screens. I had a lot of fun creating and learning, Matt and the team were very helpful. A step up from the Plus workshops but worth the work!
My coding journey with SheCodes continues to be a positive experience. Matt Delac's instructional videos are direct and concise showing each step with clear directions and explanations. The organization of the course, all the supportive materials and access to SheCodes Athena-AI coding assistant are the tools I use to learn and write my code. I know I can return to the lessons for clarification when needed. I appreciate Matt's acknowledgement that the material can be challenging to understand. He demonstrates that if the code doesn't work the first time, don't panic, just try to use the clues and find where it breaks and try again. He always offers encouragement and injects a positive spirit into the process by telling us to have fun with what we are learning. I know that may seem like a minor detail but it creates a positive mindset. I want to take what I've learned and try out some other APIs. I found one about coffee drinks and now I want to play with the API to create an app for those who love coffee. Now I'm looking forward to my next workshop. Thank you to everyone at SheCodes.

Wow! This was a tough few weeks! React is definitely a steep learning curve, but so worth it when you come out on the other side. In about 50 days I have worked hard to learn, practice, and level up from the Basics through Responsive workshops. Matt has structured the lessons to ensure student success. SheCodes has been a wild jorney! I sure didn't expect to be as cool and as challeging as it was, and the best part of it it's to look at what you did during the program: the pages and pieces of code you just never expected that you'd be able to do. Matt is very didatic, the classes are short and the homeworks are fun. Besides, the Final Project (bit harder than you may think it) is challeging enough to test your abilities while letting you feel free to be all creative and just have fun while seeing your abstract ideas becoming something solid. I loved it every single minute of the program, and all the work done was very fun (and difficult). I am excited to keep on learning!

Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.

Think the help and support from the team on slack is great. Only thing i would say, because the videos are pre recorded, sometimes when Matt is speaking and going on a slight tangent, it gets a little confusing, and sometimes I need things explaining in a different way. A way that might be different to how Matt explains, so the information isn't really sticking as well as i would like.
I haven't coded in what feels like centuries. It is different from learning to ride a bike or driving a car; once you stop practicing, the skill is gone. So I made a promise to myself that I would learn coding once more, and I needed a great bootcamp or short course to meet all the learning requirements I set for myself as a web developer. I cannot believe I created a whole landing page by myself. I am utterly grateful to SheCodes and Instructor Matt.

I have been wanting to learn how to code for a while, but I never knew how/where to start. I bought the basics workshop on Black Friday to give it a go and see if I liked it... I LOVED IT! Matt explains everything excellently and simply, making the learning process even easier than expected. I can't waitstart learning and expanding my knowledge.
