This is an awesome course. Matt explains everything in a clear and concise fashion, and the structure of the classes is very well thought-out. I am amazed at the things I can already do after only three weeks. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who would like to gain their first experience in coding.
I started my lessons with SheCodes last year, and it took me longer to finish the basics course due to work commitments. However, I am finally done with the first part. I wasn't sure what would come of the "Basic" class, but I surprised myself on the final project. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are new to this like I am, but I took it in strides. Matt makes it easy with the lessons being very short and to the point. These classes make it suitable for anyone to learn on their time. I figured I would try the first course and see how it went -by week two I signed up for all the classes. Really looking forward to my future.

The entire course is very well constructed, they put a lot of attention into detail and into providing you with so many resources that allow you to engage with the course and coding itself. I really enjoyed the lessons with Matt, he explains himself very well, putting things into an easy to digest manner. ItΒ΄s really noticeable he enjoys teaching. I also really liked having a challenge after every lesson to really put it into practice all that knowlege that you're gathering. The pride you feel once you see your product, specially the final project, is simply special. I had to take a break from the course and get back to few months after, and was surprised to see it was easier than expected to get back on track. Whenever I did not remember previous lessons, I had every lesson/resource easily available and the AI coding assistant, Athena, which proved very useful to refresh and correct/improve code.
This was challenging, yet the excellent instruction and support from Matt and the SheCodes team made it doable. I look forward to learning more Python!
