I am so thankful how easy SheCodes has made it to be able to learn the basics for HTML, CSS, and JS. I still can't believe how I went through these eight weeks. SheCodes Plus was an absolute challenge, no doubt, but still, I would never have thought of making a weather forecast app from scratch. I enjoyed the experience. Each course has a perfect format, not too long and not overwhelming at all. The challenges are perfect for consolidating knowledge and the final project allows you to put into practice all the topics covered. Matt's pedagogy is spot on and very understandable!
I did it! Was able to get through React, not without using my deadline extensions ahah! React is definitely more complex, but somehow it becomes more rewarding as you start to understand how it works towards the end... This was such a wonderfull journey, that is now ending. It's bittersweet, you feel acomplished but you know you don't have more courses waiting for you with Matt. Please do more courses, i will surelly be a student once again! Thank you for everything!

I'd already had some HTML and CSS knowledge and never felt ready to jump into learning more about them. But thank God I made up my mind and chose SheCodes! Matt is an awesome teacher, he takes time explaining - also it's a huge plus that I can go and learn at my own pace! I've had so much fun building the final project and really lost track of time researching for applicable codes and finetuning my project - I 100% recommend taking the course!

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I can't believe in just three short weeks, I have a great understanding of utilizing CSS, HTML & Javascript. Finally, i complete and submit my final project (weather app) SheCodes Plus. After SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus being a huge change, a lot of information and tasks. It was a big deal with me especially vanilla JavaScript and API. Full of extensive information about HTML, CSS, JS. Pretty much hard and dynamic. It's a great experience with SheCodes Plus. However, SheCodes Plus taught and introduce with me that, how to dance with frustration. Thank you so much Matthieu Delac Aussaguel. You are such an enthusiastic, well organized, passionate, talented and creative instructor. Before engaging with SheCodes workshop, i had a negative impression about online courses. However, SheCodes (Matthieu) helped me out from that negative impression about online course. Now, I'm more passionate to do some other online course. Thanks again to Matt. Moreover, thanks a lot too to the whole team of SheCodes and also an especial thanks goes to João Lopes and Bruno Torres. You two are super heroes. Here is my final project of SheCodes plus. This is the fourth month of learning how to code and I've built a solid front-end foundation with SheCodes Intro, Plus, and Responsive courses. Thank you so much for the ongoing support from the SheCodes team and our instructor, Matt, and for providing well-structured courses and coding challenges. During the last 5 weeks I've been learning how to make websites responsive, so that the user experience would be seamless no matter what device a user is on. I finished the first iteration of my personal website(something I've been trying to do for a while). Every time I thought I'm done, I would find more things to add/fix. I can't wait to start learning React next week!
SheCodes is a very good online learning platform. I learned coding about ten years ago during my bachelor, but since I never used and practiced it afterwards, it felt like learning from zero again. The way Matt explains things is very fun yet understandable. Can't wait to continue my journey to shecodes plus!

I actually came across Matt's free coding webinar as an advertisement on Instagram after a very long week at work. It was serendipitous as I had been worrying about my career and my lack of 'practical' future-ready skills. I really like Matt's pedagogy - his lessons are very structured and he makes coding jargon simple and relatable. I honestly did not know what to expect going into the workshop, but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I have learned over such a short period of time. It has inspired me to think about alternative career paths, and I'm looking forward to joining more workshops with SheCodes.
Overall extremely positive experience. I chose to attend SheCodes Basic because I needed a new challenge in my life, something that would spark my curiosity and exercise my creative and logical sides. Matt made the material fun and pushed us all to do better. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in coding workshops. I had zero knowledge in coding but had always been very interested. Joined the 3 week workshop in sole intention to know what is coding all about and if I can get an idea of what these coders actually do😉!!But to my surprise ,Matt's course has designed the classes and exercises,challenges and homework in such a organized,easy and user friendly format that an avid amateur like me who knows nothing about coding or computer functions or computer languages was able to create a nice and attractive webpage at the end of workshop😜!! Coding with SheCodes was a great experience in my life and Matt was one of best teachers I've ever had. As Matt always says, I really enjoys every second I spend learn coding and solve every session's challenges. The course was well-organized and clear and I really love it.
When I first started SheCodes, I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself that I would enjoy or understand the basics of coding. It turns out, all I needed was a positive mentor and teacher. Matt always emphasized that coding was fun and attainable during his lessons. When you make a mistake, it's okay, just try again. This workshop really made me understand CSS and HTML. I was so excited that by the final weeks I could predict what was going to happen next and my list of things that I needed to fix aligned with Matt's! Really important since everything is mobile-first these days!

It's been a few years since I've used code to build a website and SheCodes has been great for reminding me of the basics and challenging me to develop my skills further. Matt is explaining why things work (or don't) as well what guiding you through what to do. The short exercises are great for layering up your knowledge.
I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!
Through this SheCodes workshop, I learnt how to make websites that are both responsive and SEO-friendly. I enjoyed the process of being able to come up with my own portfolio design on Figma to then making it come alive using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I now have the confidence that I need to build more responsive websites in the future, and I hope to use these new skills hand in hand with my other creative skills and interests. I was interested in coding but I found it hard to get started. SheCodes made coding engaging and accessible for beginners! In 3 weeks, I have learned a lot and also gained enough confidence that I want to continue learning to code. Matt is a great instructor who describes step-by-step and provides many tips on the best software and how to make your coding experience easier. The team were also helpful and replied fast when I was stuck.
This course was a challenge -one I am so grateful to have taken on. I learnt so much and have grown far more confident in my coding abilities. There may be more to learn, and always will be, but I realised towards the end of the course that I now had the wherewithal and confidence to tackle any issue. Being an absolute novice was extremely intimidating...I wasn't sure what to expect. This journey has been lifechanging. After finishing the SheCodes Basic I was so excited to learn about the world of coding with SheCodes Plus. Little did I know back then, how much I will learn both about coding and about my very self as well. SheCodes Plus dove me to learn more and more, to not be satisfied with the average but to go beyond my limits. I am so very grateful for this opportunity. Even though I was struggling a lot (especially with the unit the conversion lol :D), it brought me an unexpected feeling of satisfaction in the end. I was hesitant to join at first, as I'm new to coding, and I've got a toddler and a new born. I wasn't sure if I would be able to manage the workload or the complexity of coding; however, the course is broken down in small sections, and is easy to follow along. Matt is also a great instructor; he knows what he is doing and is able to simplify it all. Not to mention the amazing SheCodes team, who are always there to lend a helping hand. I'm really enjoying the course thus far, and I'm excited for the new opportunities that will open up to me.

I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. It has been the best experience learning at my own pace. I never thought I would have learned a lot in such a short period of time,thankyou Matt Delac, thankyou SheCodes.
This workshop is incredibly flexible and each module is very clear and understandable. The building blocks add up quickly and you will go from knowing nothing at all about coding (like me) to creating a formatted, interactive document from scratch. I'm really proud of myself for being able to do this in only a few weeks.
I highly recommend this course! I enjoyed coding step by step with Matt. He is great in explaining every aspects of the creation of the weather app from scratch. I am glad I did it and I cannot wait to keep going with the next SheCodes workshop.
So far i'm loving the courses and the way that Matt teaches. You have a great support system with the slack group. I look forward to seeing what pro has to offer. I have been utilizing other resources as well which I think helps the learning process, but it has been quite a seamless transition from a "somewhat tech driven nurse practitioner" to a now building my own sites! I highly recommend Matt and SheCodes if you are looking to get into the tech world! Happy coding!👩🏽💻
I am truly sad that this was the last SheCodes Workshop and I hope there will be more coming (: It was a great time - challenging, highly interesting and much fun. I hope I won't get lost on my further coding journey without Matt and the team along the way .. Thank you for everything ❤
The workshop was amazing and it was thanks to Matt that I understood the basics of JavaScript that our technical integration team uses daily. Ever since I started delving into this world, I literally cannot stop coding! Great workshop, great content, great team.
