SheCodes Basic, is fun, insight, and I am really happy with the classes and progress i have made. I used to think coding was really difficult to learn and I would not get it, but with Matt's instruction and the help you get offline I am learning and hope to grow further with every step. The course is very interesting and well explained. Matt puts a lot of effort to ensure that even beginner in coding can follow up and team makes sure everyone feels 100% supported during the course. After nearly 10 years working in the digital/website industry, I had so much fun learning more about coding. Matt teaches the basics of HTML, CSS and JS through short videos and challenges - everything is clear, easy to understand and there's always Slack if you need help.

I've been considering making a career switch into the tech field and started by teaching myself some basic HTML using free resources on my own. However, I learn best with a more structured approach and thought about trying out a Bootcamp but haven't been brave enough to take the leap. I decided to start with SheCodes basics to test if I can manage to learn the material within the deadlines and envision myself coding as a career. SheCodes was nice because it was very affordable and Matt taught us tricks that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own. All of the material was broken down into small steps and didn't feel overwhelming at all. Now I feel confident that I can succeed in a Bootcamp and enjoy doing this as a career.
Coding is an essential job skill in many professions, and I'm learning a lot through these workshops. Thanks Matt!

Amazing course so far! I tried other coding bootcamps and they were either too expensive or too hard and tedious to learn. Matt explains in a way that you learn without glassy eyes closing 2 minutes in. I'm looking forward to completing the whole course and excited for the future - many more projects to complete!

I can't believe I had zero knowledge of html, css and java 3 weeks ago. Now I've created a page from scratch and I can't wait to keep learning. I love Matt's way of explaining complex ideas. I also love the fact that we start working on VS Code right away. I absolutely recommend this workshop.

I hadn't imagined that I can code in such a short time! It was still a basic, but I'm so surprised that I can create simple page now. The choice I made to learn at Shecodes was definitely gave me confidence and motivation to learn codes more. Now I'm so curious about how the page was created every time I see them on the Internet. Matt is the great teacher and he taches us step by step, so you'll never feel like you want to quit learning. In addition, the fee was way cheaper than other online classes that I found in Japan, so I was really glad to know Shecodes! Thank you for the great experience!
Wow, this was definitely more challenging than the intro course, but I had a lot of fun building my weather app project. For the last three years, I have taught second grade in an elementary school setting. During the pandemic, I found a passion for technology and teaching online (unpopular opinion!). I have always loved designing and creating my own resources but had little knowledge on the subject. I realized a couple months ago that I would love to get into the tech world but didn't know where to start. When I attended the free workshop I was blown away by Matt's ability to effectively communicate how to code. I knew I could pick up on it quickly so I joined the course. The last 3 weeks have been so much fun! The course is clear and concise. Matt does a phenomenal job breaking down HTML, CSS and JavaScript into digestible lessons. The challenges really push you and give you a productive struggle. I highly recommend this course!

I also appreciate that he does not share too much information, so I am never overwhelmed. Sometimes it was so good to hear from him something like "You do not need to understand this right now." I've been working as a factory worker since I was 18. I was a working student so I can pay my own tuition fee. I did not have the chance to have a college degree so I feel like I've been left behind. I learned about Shecode.io through my friend who graduated months earlier. I tried to attend the free coding Workshop by Matt Delac and for the first time I felt some spark in my heart and the urge to learn more about coding. Through Matt Delac's Basic Coding workshop I learned a lot and my passion for coding keep growing and growing. I will continue to learn and gain some skills. All in all the workshop was great and I learned a lot.
I really enjoyed SheCodes' lessons and challenges and the friendly community. Matt and the SheCodes team are great at helping and supporting you when you need it. I felt that the challenges were fun and the basic course is just enough to pique your interest if you would like to learn more. Even with the basic course, I felt like I was learning a lot while still being challenged.
SheCodes is SO much fun! I wanted to learn how to do web development for fun, but also ask a back-up career choice, should I need it. Matt has been such an amazing teacher, and I'm super grateful to have the opportunity to learn!
Wow! This was definitely a big step up from SheCodes Basics, but I'm so happy I pushed myself to add my own flair to the app, and I'm really proud of the end result. I started from zero, two weeks ago, I opened the first video and I was hooked :) Matt is a great teacher, the videos are clear and walk you through every step. I have finally completed the React course of SheCodes. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also very fun (personally I enjoyed the React course WAY more than the SheCodes Plus course)! I was motivated with seeing my progress in real-time, and as always Matt's instruction is remarkable and easy to understand and follow. The rest of the SheCodes team is very helpful in answering questions as well. I love the fact that we can review course materials and videos as many times as we want, and that we have lifetime access to our completed course workshops! I'm definitely going to review and refer back to what I learned in my React course throughout my ongoing coding journey. I have learned so, so much. With SheCodes, I was able to learn to code from literally no experience at all, all the way to being comfortable with JavaScript React. I encourage any and all women interested in learning how to code to learn with SheCodes. I look forward to everything SheCodes has to offer in the future, and in the meantime I will get to work on my own projects independently now. Thank you so much for everything!

Wow... truly a fantastic course! I really LOVE the lesson format of SheCodes. Everything is in very manageable bite-sized pieces with the space to let you experiment a lot or a little with each lesson. I have a little bit of history with html and css, but I've always struggled with javascript... but Matt made it so easy to understand! Not only that but learning about VS Code and how to use it was incredibly valuable. I'm really looking forward to the next workshops! I'm gonna be a coding mastermind soon, just you wait and see! The Shecodes Basic Workshop was super fun and very thorough considering the actual lecture-videos with Matt are not that long. I did end up spending more than 5 hrs a week, but the challenges were engaging so I tended to end up playing around a lot.
SheCodes Basics has really boosted my confidence in coding and also in myself. I never would have thought I could enjoy coding but I have already signed myself up for SheCodes Plus! Matt's teaching style and the regular challenges were very beneficial and I feel like I have learned so much already.

I registered to SheCodes Basic workshop 3 weeks ago and I feel it was a very good decision. I truly recommend SheCodes, because I am a very visual person and for me details like the platform which is very well organised with beautiful colors and designs, the classes are well explained specially topics like JavaScript which are usually a bit hard to understand, thanks Matt for explain it in an easy way, the homeworks are supervised weekly and also we received help of our mentors and you can even have a reply a Sunday which I though it was not possible. I thank SheCodes, Matt, Daniela and mentors for making a very friendly, didactic, supportive and beautiful program.

In less than three weeks, I was able to build a basic webpage with working buttons and links! Matthieu did an amazing job explaining the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am very happy with the content of this course, and what I was able to accomplish in such a short time.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking this introduction and found it helpful to touch upon the knowledge I already had with HTML + CSS. It was nice getting a refresher and learning new tricks. I especially enjoyed the JavaScript portion. Within a short period of time, you are able to leverage what has been taught by Matt and execute it in the final project. This experience has taught me how to stick with a problem and find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, the experience taught me the skills that will enable me to continue to develop into a Front End Developer.
