SheCodes Advanced Python workshop was a great follow on from the basics workshop! Matt's video tutorials were clear and easily digestible so following along and completing challenges were simple and fun to do. Throughout this course, I was given plenty of opportunities to practise coding with Python and the final project was exciting to see a real-life example of what I had learnt in action.
I started SheCodes with absolutely no knowledge of how to code. The programme was not only challenging but it also gave me the feeling that I had all the support I needed at my fingertips. Honestly, I found Python to be such a breeze, considering the fact that I learnt JavaScript and React before learning Python, but it was so much easier having Matt as an instructor and guiding me through each step

Really fun and enjoyable workshop! Matt explains the concepts clearly so even though there is a step up in level from the previous workshops you do not feel as though it is too much too fast as it is done in a considered way, incrementally and just the right speed. I especially enjoyed learning about Git and deployment, the whole workflow element was really helpful to understand the end to end process involved in creating an app.
Matt Delac is a great teacher and helped me understand basic html, css and JavaScript coding in a few video lessons something I likely wouldn't achieve reading e-books. I wish Matt writes a book on coding! Thanks sheCodes for giving me an opportunity to learn.

I find the explanation videos very helpful, it's a very hands-on approach. I also like that Matt shows us alternatives in some cases when things can be solved in another way. I also like that the workshop challenges you to try solving a task or problem by yourself first, before showing you the solution. That encourages you to think out of the box or try new things.

I had started my coding journey two years ago, a few months after giving birth to my daughter. My main motivation was starting a lucrative career that would allow me to spend more time with my baby. This is another challenge for me. I got to review what I studied in the basic course and learn new skill in this course especially about API. Matt did a great job in explaining how to build the weather app step by step. It is great learning process.
