This was amazing! Matt's videos guided me through every step, and getting feedback through the Slack app was almost instant. It was especially great to get help from other women on the course, who were always ready to lend a hand and offer solutions when I was stuck. Overall I would recommend this to anyone, you don't need any prior knowledge at all. As an English student I thought coding would always be outside of my skillset; if I can do it, anyone can!

SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.

Being a liberal arts major, who has zero background in anything tech, this 3 week course gave me an opportunity to discover a skill I never thought of gaining. I have really enjoyed the course; it's very challenging, but support is on hand and Matt's style of teaching is easy to follow. I have found the community supportive and it's allowed me to learn new skills which I've really enjoyed.

I'm very glad I took the entire SheCodes series. I strengthened the skills I already had and I've still learned so much, even though I have taken a few intro coding bootcamps. Honestly, React doesn't seem nearly as intimidating now as before I began the React workshop. In general, there are are quite a few things I'd already run across before while learning JavaScript but I didn't fully grasp them until I took these workshops. Matt walks you through the lessons in a very approachable way and the slack community definitely keeps you from feeling like you are on your own to figure things out. I highly recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn JavaScript and React.

I recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding, no matter in which coding language. Specifically to those who are afraid of coding and think it's too hard to learn! This is certainly a good way to start because making a website (landing page in this case) using HTML, CSS and JS is actually fun and interactive. SheCodes's workshops are truly amazing. They are constructed to make it easy to follow and understand the fundamental concepts even for those who think they "weren't born to code"😊 For example, although I've completed the introduction to Object Oriented Programming in college before taking SheCodes course, the part about how function receives parameters was somewhat confusing to me. I could do template-based tasks, but I did not have deep, intuitive understanding of the function-parameters relations. And with Matt's explanation, I've got this "Aha!" moment in a matter of minutes.

Working through my first SheCodes class, I was excited learning about HTML & CSS, but was scared to learn about Javascript, based on stories I was told. I completed my first class, and then did SheCodes plus, and javascript was almost nothing! I started my SheCodes React, and was terried, but Matt made it easy, and explains everything thoroughlyso you understood why it was that way. If there were more SheCodes courses, I would most definitely be signing up!

I knew absolutely nothing about coding or development before beginning this course; while I still wouldn't feel comfortable going out to apply for developer jobs, I am super confident in the foundation this first workshop has helped me to build. I had always been interested in coding and the SheCodes workshop was a great place to start. Matt's lessons take you through the basic elements of HTML, CSS and Java and provide the perfect foundation for your coding knowledge, whether you're just wanting an introduction or looking to transition into coding full time!

After graduating from the SheCodes Introduction to Coding, I went on to SheCodes plus - it's been an overall fantastic learning experience. Matt is a fantastic teacher and Lexi has kept in regular contact checking in, which really adds to the experience. I studied Computer Science at University, but felt I was unable to code, and had zero confidence in myself. It has been a few years since I graduated from university, and I felt ready to step back into the field. I now want to continue my journey, take the next step with SheCodes to learn React, then continue my learning with the aim to begin a career as a software developer.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes introductory workshop! Matt was a great teacher and went through everything step-by-step. I especially enjoyed his humour - it made learning more fun! Having come from virtually no experience of coding, this was a challenging course but well worth it. This workshop was so amazingly designed to the point were even though I came across difficulties I wouldn't demotivate. It not only gave me an idea of how fun it is to code, but it forced me to overcome adversities by my self (although I could always ask for help). I really found this course beneficial. I was a total beginner before the course having no clue about where to start and this helped me to guide me through the different processes of coding in a very clear and easy way. I loved the vanilla project because it really lets you learn a lot more about how to develop the weather website. The videos are easy to follow and understand. Thank you Matt for the journey and I can't wait to learn React in the next step!

I've always been interested in coding and so grateful that I have found SheCodes. I've been looking for ways to enhance my skills and step foot into the world of Front End Web Development. The SheCodes Plus Bootcamp was fun, frustrating at times, but completely worth every minute spent. Thanks to Matt for carefully designing this program and making coding look easy. I am so surprised by how much I've learned over these past two months and cannot wait to learn more in the final React Bootcamp!
