SheCodes Plus is a really rich workshop which allows you to go from basic coding knowledge to master some pretty advanced skills. The weather forecast is the perfect project for you to learn API and search engine features that are extremely useful for the coding career. Although challenging, Matt's lessons are very clear and well paced, so that everyone can keep up with the course. As I progress through the workshops I can really see a possibility for me to become a professional coder. Thank you She Codes Team!

I found this to be incredibly challenging; however, I have learned so much during my time doing this. At times, life and work commitments have gotten in the way of my learning; this also made me more determined, particularly in the last couple of weeks, to power on with this. I can see my progress during this, starting as a complete novice to coding before the free taster lesson, Basics, and Add-on courses. I can really appreciate just how much I have learned. The lessons are structured well; Matt gives logic, rationale, and explains thoroughly what is happening. While it is frustrating getting stuck on something, I found it quite reassuring that Matt also had moments where he made an error, which I found incredibly helpful for doing my own detective work to find issues in my code and working back systematically. There is always help on hand in the Stack community, and it's also extremely helpful to read through other people's questions; I found that at times they answered some of my own. I absolutely recommend this course. It's so satisfying seeing and submitting the final project. Don't underestimate taking some time out and coming back to your code with a fresh pair of eyes! I miraculously fixed a number of errors after taking a break!
I already had some experience coding from when I was still in school, but it was never really explained in a way that actually made it easy to understand or fun. Matt did a great job explaining everything, and it was very rewarding to see myself make such progress in a short amount of time. The weekly homework really helped when testing things out for yourself.
The videos were super informative but still easy to understand. Matt is really good at explaining difficult topics in a way that's easy to understand even if you never coded. It's very motivating that your able to a lot of things and see results in a very short amount of time.
I am so glad that I chose to enrol on SheCodes Plus. Although the concepts may be challenging, Matt always explains them very clearly. The project is fantastic, as it gives you the opportunity to take all the skills and new concepts you've learnt and put them into practice. Looking forward to starting Responsive and React :)
I was quite scared to join the course because I am afraid I could not catch up with the new knowledge. I have zero knowledge in coding. To my surprise, this course was quite easy to learn. Matt showed everything step by step and explained everything in details. It easy to understand what I am doing and the logic behind every code.
I've been very curious about learning code for years. But I also dreaded it a lot. I expected a steeper learning curve. Instead, I found that I am enjoying it enormously. I should thank Matt for this, as he showed me that coding can be fun. As the dawn of AI is upon us, I believe that programming languages and human-computer interactions will take their essential places in school curriculums.

I enjoyed this workshop! It wasn't overwhelming and was structured to allow you to continue to apply what you learned. The Slack channel was very helpful in checking if one of your questions had already been answered or if you wanted to ask a question about your code, the support available was great. Additionally, all of the resources Matt provided came in handy throughout the whole of the workshop. Overall, it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend this course for anyone learning to code for the first time or those wanting a refresher like myself!
It is incredible how simple it is to understand Matthieu's classes, even when he says "please pay attention because it might be a little confusing" 😄 SheCodes definitely changed my life and made me pursue a different career than what I thought I was meant to be. I still can't believe I did this. Few months ago I had no idea what html and css were, and don't even get me started on java script. But today the story is different. If I can do this, then you can. I took the SheCodes Basics and the SheCodes Basics Add-On workshops over a year and 6 months apart from each other. I was worried that I would be struggling to understand the concepts I learned the year before but thanks to Matt's teaching style, it didn't even matter! It was like I picked up right where I left off, despite the fact that I had not practiced the code being taught in that time frame. Every assignment was easy to understand and retain and he even had a little refresher at the beginning. It's very forgiving. So if you're worried about doing everything at once, don't. It's very intuitive!

The step by step video lessons make it so easy to learn little by little, before you know it you've been able to build a whole page. There is so much material available and Matt makes it so fun!!
These first three weeks of SheCodes have been a pleasure for me. The way the workshops are planned is perfect to fit into my already active and busy life, and it's a great feeling to see yourself progress with each lesson and witness every change made to the code materialize on the page. Matt's "to the point" style of teaching is also a great plus. This whole experience has given me so much enthusiasm to keep going, keep coding, and see what else I can create with an idea and a few lines of code!
